Sandra L. “Sandy” Kennedy

Sandra L. “Sandy” Kennedy, 83 of Vienna, WV, passed away Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, at the Ohio Valley Healthcare.

She was born Feb. 6, 1941, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Charles Warren and Minnie Tuttle Frazier. Sandy had previously worked at Foodland Grocery and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church and was very active in the church including being a member of the Ladies Circle. Sandy loved making cinnamon candy, playing games and watching game shows.

She was blessed with five children, Deborah Peters (Bob) of Washington, WV, Cathy Null of Vienna, Tom Bryan (Monica) of Parkersburg, Chuck Bryan (Donna) of St. Marys, WV and Tina Kunsman (Chuck Hamilton) of Parkersburg; her sister, Shirley Righter of Nevada; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Peters and her siblings, Charles, Michael, and Timothy Frazier, Evelyn “Maxine” Davis and Mary Kaufman.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2024, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Jim Yoak officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and two hours prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
