Robert J. Peters, 81, of Mineral Wells, passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024, at Eagle Pointe Healthcare Center. He was born Sept. 11, 1942. in Waverly, WV to the late Floyd E. and Virginia L. Bayles Peters.

Robert was an outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Sheila Mahoney Peters; daughters, Angela Peters (Ernie), Theresa Murphy (Dennis), Cynthia Brown (Jeff); sons, Michael Peters and Joshua Peters (Jessica McDonald); brother, Dale Peters (Lynne); sisters, Delores Peters, Janice Carpenter (Charles) of Saltillo, TN, and Freda Hostottle of Painted Post, NY; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Norma Downs; and brother, Harold Peters.

Funeral Services will take place at a later date.
