Mary Frances (Young) Wright

Mary Frances (Young) Wright, 82, of Parkersburg, WV passed away unexpectedly at home on Aug. 23, 2024. She was born in Vienna, WV a daughter of the late John Hanford and Mary (Swan) Young.

Mary is survived by her husband of sixty-two years Paul; children Richard Wright (Alison), Theresa Cross (Ed); grandchildren Eric Wright, David Wright, Rachael Cross, and Susie Cross; great grandson Miles Wright; sister Joyce Yocum; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Janice Palmer, Clara Frame, George Young, William Young, and Gordon Young.

Per Mary’s wishes, there will be a celebration of life held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
