Kenneth Earl McNulty

Kenneth Earl McNulty, 94, of Parkersburg, was called home by God on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

He was born on March 2, 1930, in Ravenna, Ohio, son of Earl E. and Hazel M. McNulty. His mother sadly passed away from childbirth, but Ken’s Aunt Eva affectionately stepped in to help raise him.

Ken was a graduate of Ravenna High School and then joined the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War. Ken later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Mississippi State College in 1958. After moving to Parkersburg, WV he worked for and retired from Dupont as an electrical engineer. In his leisure time he enjoyed travelling, learning new things, square dancing with his wife, Pat, cheering on the Cleveland Browns, and spending time with friends & family. Ken was dedicated to Pioneer Presbyterian Church in Belpre and volunteered for Belpre Area Ministries. He was a generous and caring man who would help anyone in need.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Patricia McNulty, stepdaughter Therese Moore-Ray, stepson Marshall Moore (Mary), seven grandchildren, Kelly Hicks (Theo), Courtney Sheff (Adam), and Katie Weaver (Aaron), Heather Reedy (Zeke), Kasie Ray, Matthew Moore, and Megan Moore (Bryce Bevan), and six great-grandchildren, Zavion Hicks, Lorelai Weaver, Emersyn Weaver, River Reedy, Ivy Reedy, and Zoe Bevan. The family expresses gratitude to a special friend and neighbor, Ben Archer, for his support and kindness to Ken over the years.

In addition to his father, mother, and aunt, Ken was preceded in death by his daughters, Linda McNulty-Harvey and Mary McNulty, whom he missed dearly and hoped to reunite with in Heaven.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 12:00-2:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow at Pioneer Presbyterian Church located at 873 Farson Street, Belpre, Ohio 45714. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion.
