Jennie Lee Perkins Cline

Jennie Lee Perkins Cline, 91, of Parkersburg, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 13, 2024. She was born June 20, 1933, a daughter of the late Nancy and Porter Cross.

She was a homemaker most of her life, but worked at Quality Burger restaurant and Beatty’s Meat Market in Vienna. She enjoyed being with people, time with family, bowled many years on leagues, and many family meals. She was a charter member of Cornerstone Gospel Church in Vienna and later attended South Parkersburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband William Cline; daughters Debbie Adams (John) and Linda Cowan (Steve); grandchildren April Staats, Rick Perkins, Tony Perkins, and Leah Newton; as well as several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings Junior Cross, Bill Cross, Wilma Shue, Sarah Tenney, and Hallie Shahan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Burl Perkins; son Richard Eugene Perkins; and siblings Edna Cross, Shirley Kelly, Dorothy Tenney, and Melvin Cross.

Services will be Friday 11:00 AM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Rick Kapple officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery North. Visitation will be Thursday 5-7 PM and Friday one hour prior to the service.
