Edward “Ed” Wade Beeson

Edward “Ed” Wade Beeson, 75 of Parkersburg, WV, passed away Aug. 16, 2024, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark. He was born June 13, 1949, in Weston, WV a son of the late Robert Beeson and Virginia Stewart Beeson.

Ed retired from Dupont in 2014. He never passed on a game of golf. He cherished the moments spent on the many golf courses he played such as Jekyll Island. He was a member of the Worthington Golf Club and played on the Dupont Golf League.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his son, Brent (Jennifer) Beeson of Zanesville, OH; sister, Virginia (Chuck) Reesman of Mineral Wells, WV; grandchildren, Spencer (Katie) Beeson of Greenville SC, Carter Beeson Chauncey, OH; and former wife, Debbie Beeson of Parkersburg, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Beeson and longtime companion, Pam Drain.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Aug. 21, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. An online guestbook for condolences is available at www.sunsetparkersburg.com
