Carol S. Pyatt

Carol S. Pyatt, 79, of Cutler, Ohio, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1945, in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of the late Clifford and Florida (Reynolds) Sholes.

She worked for Nelson’s Drug Store in Belpre for fourteen years and White Oak Pharmacy for twenty-two years. She was a loyal member of the Cross Church. She enjoyed puzzles, crochet, reading books, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-one years Ralph Pyatt; daughter Dawn Eddy (Rob); grandchildren Chris Barton and Reanna Barton; sisters Brenda Hendershot (Bub) and Peggy Tibbs; her special friends Debbie and Ronnie Church; her special little friend Rosa; and a large amount of family and friends…she loved you all.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Edra Sholes.

Services will be Wednesday 1 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Bishop Frank Bounds officiating. A private entombment will be held at East Lawn Memorial Park following the service. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Cross Church.
