Benjamin Edwards

Benjamin John Edwards, 81, of Parkersburg, passed away Aug. 22, 2024, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 15, 1943, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Lawrence and Pauline (Roberts) Edwards.

Benjamin was a member of the Williamstown Presbyterian Church and retired from EI Dupont Washington Works.

He loved coaching Little League Baseball and Babe Ruth, Benjamin also loved the New York Yankees and was a dog lover.

Benjamin is survived by his wife, Nancy Ann (Caskin) Scribner Edwards of Parkersburg, step-son, Curtis David Scribner (Ashley) Cincinnati, OH, step-daughter, Rachel Ayn Lyons (Lamont) of Canonsburg, WV, five grandchildren, Lamont Lyons, Isaiah Lyons, Ella Lyons, Auggie Scribner, and Abe Scribner, special nieces, Amanda Kitzmiller (Clinton) and Stephanie Fouty, and sister-in-law, Margie Edwards of Parkersburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Terry Edwards.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
