James Clifton Bailey

James Clifton Bailey, 41, (Bub) was taken at the country family home in Walker, WV on May 19th 2024 with his fiance Felicia Knight Goff. He was born in Glen Dale, WV on June 29th 1982, the only son of Michael and Deborah Bailey Kayvonne Settle (Greg).

James worked at Cramer Metals of Parkersburg and Joe’s Garage in Cleveland with his special cousin Chad.

He worked on vehicles, and he could repair anything along with being a collector of many wonderful items

James loved art, tattoos, woodworking and the great outdoors. He was blessed with a contagious laugh, a perpetual smile, and ginormous heart, with a calm even temperament and still yet has an everlasting spirit forever.

James is survived by his parents Michael and Deborah Bailey of Parkersburg, Kayvonne Settle (Greg) of Little Hocking, 4 sisters Mary Browning, Kayla Bailey Nicole Knight and Michelle Flannery. Special children James Douglas Bailey and Farah Laine Bailey.

He has 6 uncles, 5 aunts, numerous cousins and several special friends including his dog Coal and many, many other friends. He was preceded in death by all grandparents except Norma F. Bailey (Grams). We will be forever affected by our loss.

There will be a Celebration of Life at noon June 22, in the Progress Ridge Community Building at 4115 Progress Ridge Road, Walker, WV. Feel free to bring flowers or anything else, but we prefer donations to the non-profit Progress Ridge Community Building. Feel free to bring any memorabilia, art, pictures, etc., which will be placed for all to share in viewing. The food and beverages will be provided and you are welcome to bring anything you choose, it will be buffet style.

He is gone yet never forgotten. God bless James and God bless everybody.
