Everett Winfield Blair, 83, of Vienna, WV, sadly passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family at home on Friday, April 26, 2024. Everett (Vert) was born to John and Betty Blair on November 12, 1940. Vert was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 40 years, Leslie D. Blair and his daughter, Rebecca D. Brown. Vert is survived by his children and their families; Everett W. (Edie) Blair II, Eric W. Blair, Debra K. (Terry) Howard, Amy D. Blair-Smith, as well as his stepchildren Paul D. Copeman and Brian E. Copeman. He has 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren which he loved unconditionally. Vert loved to joke, hunt, fish and tinker in the garage. He will be missed by many. A combined celebration of life for Everett and Leslie will be held at a later date.
