Mildred I. “Mickey” Green (Calvert)
Mildred I. “Mickey” Green (Calvert), 92, St. Marys, WV, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, at home with her family by her side. Born in Pleasants County, WV, on Oct. 19, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Everett Clarence and Zelma Udell Pethel Boley. She was a retired aid for the former Colin Anderson Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great- grandmother. Mickey preferred a simple life. One that allowed time for long conversations, front porch sitting, and enjoying her flowers. Nothing brightened her day more than spending time with family. She was a wonderful cook that who remembered everyone’s favorite. She loved to feed everyone, including her beloved stray cats. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by five children, Sheila (Doug) Seidel, Jerry Green, John (Pam) Green, Jeff (Carla) Green, and William Green; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, James Truman Green, one daughter, Deborah Kent, brothers and sisters, Mary Wilkerson, Joseph Boley, Betty Kent, JoAnn Nichols, Carol Durst, and Carl Edward Boley, and daughter-in-law, Sandy Green.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Pastor Kay Larsen officiating. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
