Walter Glen Hoselton

Walter Glen Hoselton, 86, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away July 2, 2023, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born July 25, 1936, in Ravenswood, WV, a son of the late Richard and Crystal (Milhoan) Hoselton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Jo (Sams) Hoselton; brothers, Thomas, Marshall, and Earlie Hoselton; sister Edith Nelson; son in law, Timothy Zahrndt and his beloved pet, Sissy.

He was a member of the Milhoan Ridge Baptist Church. He retired from Century Aluminum, Ravenswood, WV, after 40 plus years of service. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union, Local # 5668 Ravenswood, WV. Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, farming, and camping.

Survivors include his son, Glen Dean (Sarah) Hoselton of Letart; daughters, Glenda Zahrndt of Ravenswood, Donna (Randy) Gerlach of Ravenswood and Christina (Jerry) Rhodes of Lexington, NC; sisters, Marie Williams, and Kay Baldwin both of Ravenswood; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service and burial will be in the Howell Cemetery, Ravenswood, WV, with Jason Knopp officiating. In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to Hubbard Hospice House 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311. A special thanks to Debbie and Sam from Kanawha Hospice for their professional and compassionate care during this time. I love you more.
