Sylvia M. Parsons, 67, Friendly, WV, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at her home. Born in Akron, Ohio, on May 31, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Wanda Little. She was a 1973 graduate of St. Marys High School. She was a caretaker at the former Colin Anderson Center and for Westbrook Health Services. She loved her family and her dogs.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Parson; two sons, Mike (Karla) Higgins, Vincent, Ohio, and John (Betty) Higgins, Belpre, Ohio; two step-sons, Mike (Connie) Parsons, New Smyrna, FL, and Bob (Celeste) Parsons, Barlow, Ohio; one step-daughter, Becky (Greg) Westbrook, Williamstown, WV; 19 grandchildren, Dalton, Austin, Mathew, Michelle, Katie, Nathan, Neil, Isabella, Jay, Olivia, Cory, Chelsi, Colten, Caitlyn, Aaron, Bobby, John, Aaron, and Megan; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Clyde (Leslie) Little; sister-in-law, Mona Little; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Oliver Little, Jr. and Herb McKinley, and one grandson, Nick Parsons.
Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
