Sandra L. Nutter, 72, of Parkersburg, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Camden Clark Medical Center surrounded by her family.
She was born in Parkersburg on June 1, 1950, a daughter of the late Hobert and Dorothy Kidd.
Sandy was a faithful member of Pinehurst Christian Church in Marietta where she worked with the program Tuesday School, for preschool aged children. She enjoyed helping others and was a volunteer for Wood County Schools.
She took an active part in her nieces' lives and supported them in their activities. Sandy considered Allie and Karlie as her own daughters.
Her memory will be held dearly in the hearts of so many who loved her, including her sister, Kathy J. Rainer (Rick); sons, Timothy L Nutter (Melody) and Dustin Nutter; and nieces, Allie Rainer and Karlie Rainer (Max).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Ronald Nutter.
Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home, with Minister Mark Wilmoth officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2023, at the funeral home.
