Robert G. "Bob" Cobb, 63, passed away Jan. 9th, 2023, at his home in St. Pete, Florida.
He was born April 28th, 1959, in Bradenton, Florida, a son of the late William D. Cobb, Sr. and Lucille J. (Jarvis) Cobb.
At age 13 he found his home in Wadesville, West Virginia where he met his wife and raised his family. He spent his career as a Hydro blaster in the IUPAT District Council 53 & 1144. He loved Disney World, Bluegrass music, Harry Potter, and Westerns. However, his greatest joy was being Pappy to his grandkids, Nat (Poot), Ry (Ryley K. Margolis), Layton (Scooter), and Chanlena (Baby Burrito).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William D. Cobb Jr.; aunt, Carol Cobb and his father-in-law, Charlie Emrick.
He is survived by the love of his life, Brenda K. (Emrick) Cobb of 44 years; three children, Jamie Cobb, Josh Cobb (Laura), and Nikki Cobb-Thach (Wanna); mother-in-law, Violet (Green) Emrick; uncle, Steve Cobb and grandkids all of St. Pete, Florida.
Visitation will be held 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28th, 2023, at Vaughan-Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Frank Miller officiating.
