Eddie Joe Donley, 68, of West Union, WV (Central Station Community), departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, at Salem Center in Salem, WV.
Eddie was born Jan. 17, 1953, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Glen and Betty (Wallace) Donley. Eddie spent his life as a truck driver who greatly enjoyed auto mechanics, fishing, hunting, camping, a spoiling his grandkids. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret "Peggy" (Miracle) Donley; children, Charles Donley (Teresa); Jerry Donley both of West Union, WV (Central Station Community); Jacklyn Perkins (Mark) of Pennsboro, WV; James Harper of Bartlett, OH, and Ruth Harper of Ellenboro, WV (Hebron Community); grandchildren, David Hufford; Sarah Ayers (Allen); Mandalynn Stewart (Chris); Bryan Donley (CJ); Isabella Donley; Leightyn Harper; Marah Harper; Robbie Harper; Angel Donley, and Shania Donley; great grandchildren, Jonathan Harper; Tayvon Hart; Shaylee Osborne; Aleah Voyer; Gracelynn Donley; brothers and sisters, Palma Keppinger of Vancouver, WA; JoAnn Ross (Terry) of Smithburg, WV; John Donley of Parkersburg, WV, and Lawrence Augustine of Toledo, OH, along with several loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Donley and sister, Donna Lewis.
In accordance with Eddie's wishes, he will be cremated. McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, WV is assisting the family with the cremation arrangements.
