Robert “Bob” Baker, 71, passed away following a battle with NAFLD on June 14, 2021.

Known to his three kids as “Bubba,” Bob spent his life in his beloved state of West Virginia. He spent his career at Social Security, but reveled in retirement. In his spare time, he cheered the Mountaineers, slayed monsters on his video games, and loved his little kitties. Bob also loved to travel, especially enjoying national parks, and to sing in the church choir at St. Paul.

Bob is survived by his children, Adrienne, Whitney, and Andrew; their upgrades, Brad, Chris, and Kayla; his sister, Debbie; and his nephew, Chris. The best dad who ever lived, Bubba will be infinitely missed.

A celebration of life will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Parkersburg on July 4th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, items for homeless kitties will be collected at the church or donations in his name to Lutheran World Relief would be an honor to his memory.
