Reverend Randall C. Morgan

The Reverend Randall C. Morgan passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021, at The Bridge at Charleston Assisted Living Facility after a brief but courageous battle with Lymphoma. He was 72.

Randy, as he was affectionately known, was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia Oct. 10, 1948, a son of the late Douglas and Ruth Mills Morgan. After graduating from Parkersburg High School, he attended Glenville State College where he received his Bachelor of Arts, and then attended Virginia Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity. He served as a Priest at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Greer, SC, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Athens,TN, and at St. Jude’s Episcopal Church in Walterboro. Randy had a great sense of humor, and loved the ocean and reading. However, his favorite times were spent enjoying the company of his family and friends.

He is survived by his sisters Angela Folio (Terry), Nancy Cales (Ed) and Julie Morgan (Bob Jones). He leaves behind nieces and nephews he loved dearly: Kimberly Tolley, Nikki Briggs, Natalie Axtell, Amelia Garcia, Hannah Liebreich, Patrick Folio, and Greg Cales.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held in the near future in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home at a time and date to be announced soon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Lutheran Hospice, 1885 Rifle Range Road, Suite 46, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul Street in Walterboro is in charge of arrangements.
