Junior Elwood Knotts, 81, of Waverly, WV died April 4, 2020 at the Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born on November 18, 1938 in Rowlesburg, WV and was the son of the late Bessie Pearl and Lonzo Knotts.
Junior retired from Almeda Enterprises after a long career of truck driving. He was a member of Labourers with Christ Pentecostal Church in Waverly, WV and also loved bowling, camping and playing cards with family. Most of all, he loved spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Knotts; one son, Michael Knotts of Kirby, WV; four daughters, Brenda (Denzil) Stutler of Vienna, WV, Lorena Stewart of Akron, OH, Kelly Knotts of Mineral Wells, WV and Lora (Michael) Buchanan of Amity, PA; seven grandchildren, April, Richard, Amy, George, Amanda, Blake and Lexi; twelve great grandchildren; one brother, Ancel Knotts; seven sisters, Lucy Attkisson, Linda Ganoe, Dottie Poling, Twilah Blevins, Lalah Dowell, Lana Baker and Darlene Hoambrecker; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant son, Wayne Knotts; grandson Kyle Feick; six brothers, Richard, Adron, Leonard, Sherwood, Bernard and Phillip Knotts; and one sister, Grace Sours.
Due to current health concerns, private services will be held by the immediate family.
Burial will be at Carsey Family Cemetery in Waverly, WV.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Labourers with Christ Pentecostal Church, 155 Bethel Woods Drive, Waverly, WV 26184.
