Cindy Lou Dodd, 57, of Pennsboro, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center, surrounded by her family.
Cindy was born November 6, 1961, in Parkersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Encil and Donna Lou (Bunner) Jones. Her life centered around her two daughters and spending time with her grandbabies. She was previously employed by Ritchie County Schools as a cook but her main job that she took great pride in was in home healthcare. Cindy was a devoted healthcare provider for many people in the Ritchie County area. She was a graduate of Pennsboro High School with the class of 1980 and she greatly enjoyed the beach and reading her Bible.
She is survived by her two daughters, Morgan Nucilli of Elkins, WV and Shayna Sow (Aliou) of Jacksonville, FL; grandbabies, Talia Nucilli, Gino Nucilli, and Ramsey Sow; brother, Kevin Jones (Jodi) of Pennsboro, WV; niece, Amber Goldfarb of Greensboro, NC and nephews, Ryan Jones of Greensboro, NC and Dylan Jones of Pennsboro, WV. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, and loving brother and sister in laws, especially Janet Dodd and Brenda Dodd who were with Cindy up to the very end.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Denver "Bill" Dodd and her brother, Gary Jones.
Funeral services will be 7p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, WV with Pastor Hal Boehm officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30p.m.-7p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home.
