Mary E. Props, 92, of Harrisville, WV died March 10, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born Dec. 30, 1926 to the late James A. and Ruby Riggs Wilson of Rock Camp. Mary in her earlier years attended Harrisville High School, and was a cook in a one room school at King Knob and proud member of King Knob United Methodist Church. She was well known for her cooking, baking and helping out others. She also enjoyed gardening and farming.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathy (Butch) Skaggs of Harrisville; three sons, Don (Oleta) Props of Harrisville, Jim (Becky) Props of Pennsboro and Richard (Margaret) Props of Harrisville; ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Janie (Robert) Wilson of Parkersburg and Jean (Wilson) Moore of Harrisville; and one brother, David (Judy) Wilson of Harrisville.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Roy A. Props; son Roger Props; sisters, Freda (Wilson) Lytle, Betty Wilson and Helen (Wilson) Haddox; and two brothers, William H. (Buster) Wilson and James H. (Butch) Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Raiguel Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Hardbarger officiating. Burial will follow in the King Knob Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulloughRaiguel.com.
