Vicki Ellen Rhodes, 67, of Parkersburg passed away November 28, 2016, at her residence. She was born February 8, 1949, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late George and Beva McPeek Rhodes.

She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and Glenville State University. She was the owner of Rhodes Insurance Agency and a life member of Bethany Christian Church.

She was a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals, the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of WV, Inc., the National Association of Insurance of Women, Independent Insurance Agents of West Virginia and Certified Professional Insurance of Women, an Accredited Customer Service representative and Certified Insurance Service Representative and was a member of the Wood County Fair Committee.

She is survived by a brother, Ralph (Christine) Rhodes of Grand Rapids, Mich., three nieces, Sarah Rhodes of Detroit, Mich., Megan (William) Ryan of Takoma Park, Md. and Emily Rhodes of Tampa, Fla. and two grand-nieces, Eleanor and Mavis Ryan of Takoma Park, Md..

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with Pastor Janice Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 4, 2016, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
