Marion Heaton

Marion Grace Chilcote White Heaton, 75, of Parkersburg, passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Heaton was born July 17, 1940, in Parkersburg, W.Va.

Marion graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1958, received a degree in medical assisting from Seattle Community College in 1969, and retired after 22 years of service from Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Heaton is survived by her husband, Thomas P. Heaton of Parkersburg; two daughters, Crystal (Danny) DePugh and Kathleen Phillips, both of Vienna; three sons, David Phillips of Titusville, Fla., Richard (Dianne) Phillips of Marietta, Ohio, and Joseph (Sandi) Phillips of Vienna; two stepdaughters, Rhonda (Steve) Rasach of Knoxville, Tenn., and Cheryl (Dan) Phillips of Steubenville, Ohio; one stepson, Thomas H. (Sandy) Heaton of Zanesville, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Kelley (Theodore) Huneycutt, Donald (Shannon) Smith, Darlene (Timothy) Archer, Kristy (David) Speciale, Darrick Phillips, Joel Bandy and Ryan Phillips; three step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, Aubrey Huneycutt, Braelyn Deem, Evan Smith, Nicholas Molica, Makaela Bandy, Kadence Bandy, Aubrey Phillips, Kylee Archer, and Bently Archer; several step great grandchildrenl; one niece, Mary Dawson of Vienna; and one nephew, Larry Tallman of Vienna.

She was preceded in death her parents, Mary and Otto Chilcote; two sisters, Marie Graves and Elsie Tallman Talbot; one brother, Albert Chilcote; and one step grandson, Cliff Adam Heaton.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Wayside United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Markins officiating. Burial will follow at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, W.Va., and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayside United Methodist Church building fund.
