MARIETTA — The Washington County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports on Dec. 31.

Dec. 27

* Markus Lee Mounts, 712 Belford St., Caldwell, was cited for driving on a suspended license.

Dec. 28

* A deputy met with Shelly Holbrooks in reference to an altercation. Holbrooks was confronted by Dana and Misty Cottrill who were driving in front of her on Robinson Hill Road. Holbrooks states Dana stopped and exited his vehicle, then began striking her vehicle with his fist, denting the hood. Misty Cottrill and Holbrooks were then involved in a physical altercation by the roadway. Crystal Thomas, a passenger in Holbrooks’ vehicle, tried to stop the altercation at which time Dana Cottrill pushed Thomas to the ground. A summons has been requested for Dana A. Cottrill, 47, 2622 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, for disorderly conduct and criminal damaging. Summonses have also been requested for Misty Dawn Cottrill, no age listed, 2622 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, and Shelly Ann Holbrooks, 46, 150 Camelot Road, Lot 34, Belpre, for disorderly conduct.

* Zachary L. McMullen, 1001 Elm St., Parkersburg, was cited for driving on a suspended license and driving left of center.

Dec. 29

* A deputy responded to 28535 State Route 7, Marietta, Ohio, in reference to marijuana found at the residence belonging to Zachary Hearn. The marijuana was weighed for a total of 6.78 grams. A summons is being requested for Hearn, 22, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 30

* A deputy observed a traffic offense while on patrol on Ohio 550 near Salster Road. A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle driven by Troy Shane Wittekind, 50, 2016 Warren Chapel Road, Fleming. An odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected on or about Wittekind’s person, and he perfomed poorly on field sobriety tests. Wittekind was also driving on a license that expired in November 2016. Wittekind was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, no operator’s license, expired plates and marked lanes and taken to the Washington County Jail.

* Tisha R. Bettinger, 712 Clement Ave., Belpre, was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt.

* Shelden D. Hill, Joy Road, Athens, was cited for failure to reinstate an operator’s license.

Dec. 31

* A deputy requested a summons be issued for Elmer Wenzel, 56, 17977 State Route 26, Reno, Ohio, for failing to restrain his dogs.

* Christopher Scott Holder, 34, 4755 Waterford Road, Marietta, theft and probation violation, both misdemeanors.

* Jeremy Wayne Campbell, 37, 106 Seventh St., Beverly, aggravated burglary, a felony; driving under suspension, fictitious plates, failure to display, two counts of assault, all misdemeanors.

* Kristin Lynn McGuire, 44, 576 McGill Road, Vincent, disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.
