MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Aug. 17.
The following warrants were received at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:
* James F. O’Brien II, 38, of 904 Fourth St., Marietta, failure to appear on child support hearing.
* Heddi M. Conger, of 1615 Staughton Ave., Parkersburg, failure to appear for hearing on possession of heroin.
The following subject was recently sentenced in Washington County Common Pleas Court:
* Samuel Jason Kohan, 44, of 929 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, Pa., for breaking and entering.
The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail on Tuesday:
* Sandra Marie Fought, 74, of 740 Wallace Road, Little Hocking, on a warrant for restraint and confinement of dogs, a misdemeanor. Fought was arrested by Sgt. McGilton of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 16 at 4 p.m.
* Weston Charles Hickman, 23, of 721 Old River Road, Little Hocking, for possession of drugs, a felony. Hickman was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheaves of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 16 at 5:37 p.m.
* Jeremy Wade Carpenter, 31, of 615 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, on a warrant for nonsupport of dependents, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Moyers of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 16 at 6:05 p.m.
* Gary Lee Losey II, 34, of 818 Lancaster St., Marietta, for receiving stolen property, a felony. Losey was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheaves of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 16 at 6:09 p.m. A warrant was served at the jail for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor, and a Guernsey County felony warrant for drug possession.
* Chad Edward Mick, 23, of 51962 Fishpot Road, Clarington, for probation violation, a felony. Mick was arrested at the Marietta City Probation Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 16 at 6:23 p.m.
* Lynn Ann Elkayam, 40, 2255 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, for theft, a felony. Elkayam was arrested at her residence by Deputy Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 16 at 8:05 p.m.
* James Madison Fox Jr., 36, of Marietta, for intoxicated disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Fox was arrested by Deputy Allendar of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 16 at 11:42 p.m.
* Gary Lee Jackson Jr., 34, of 300 Fifth St., Marietta, for intoxicated disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Jackson was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 16 at 11:45 p.m.
* Stephanie Elizabeth Dunn, 32, 1170 Goose Run Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Dunn was arrested at her residence by Lt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 16 at 11:50 p.m.

MARIETTA – On Aug. 18, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.
* On Aug. 16, Deputy Johnson responded to an incident at 2255 Tick Ridge Road, Fairfield Township. Mary Ann Sutton, of 2096 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, reported her husband, Paul, the vehicle owner, had a vehicle taken from him, without his permission. The suspect, Lynn Ann Elkayam, 40, of 2255 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, lives with the owner’s son, who normally drives the vehicle. The son was interviewed and advised he had not given Elkayam permission to drive or take the vehicle. The vehicle was entered in the National Crime Information Center and surrounding agencies were advised. A warrant is being requested for Elkayam for theft of a motor vehicle.
* On Aug. 16, Deputy Allender along with the Reno Volunteer Fire Department Squad were dispatched to 10 Browns Road, Marietta, in reference to a male subject passed out on the sidewalk at Cedarbark Village Apartments. A male subject was sitting on the sidewalk, and was conscious when Deputy Allender arrived. An odor of alcohol was detected, along with minor injuries. The man was identified as James Madison Fox Jr., 36. Fox would not advise how he sustained his injuries and was slurring his words when he spoke. Fox would not advise where he lived; however, his last known address is 405 Lord St. Witnesses have seen the individual before; however, he stated he did not live there. Fox was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.
* On Aug. 16, Deputy Hunter and Deputy Black responded to 1170 Goose Run Road, Marietta, to a welfare check of two children. Stephanie E. Dunn, 32, had also called and reported she had been assaulted at the residence. Dunn was found in disarray in the front yard. A witness had seen Dunn chase her husband, Aaron L. Dunn, into the residence, striking him in the face. As this occurred Dunn appeared to be intoxicated, and unable to care for her children. A witness tried to take the children to their residence, in which Dunn became upset and struck the witness to try and stop him from taking the children to safety. The victim, Aaron Dunn, confirmed that he was struck by his wife. Aaron Dunn did have marks on his neck and face. Deputies met with Stephanie Dunn and placed her under arrest for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.
* On Aug. 17, Sgt. Reeder was dispatched to 38 Townhall Road, Marietta, to a report of two men fighting at this address. The one male subject, known to Sgt. Reeder as Kenneth Ewing Tilton, 46, of 730 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, was observed entering the back door of the residence. Sgt. Reeder met with Tilton outside in which he detected a very strong odor of alcohol from his breath as he spoke. Tilton advised Sgt. Reeder “I did it, take me to jail” before he was asked any questions. Tilton advised he was drunk and on probation. A witness came forward and stated that Tilton had pushed his live in girlfriend, Ruth E. Thrasher, against the kitchen wall. The witnesses attempted to intervene in which Tilton raised his fist to hit him, and he struck Tilton in the face. The two continued outside with the witness pushing Tilton to the ground after he raised his fist again. Tilton was asked about pushing Thrasher with him stating, “I admit everything.” Thrasher confirmed what Tilton had done, and stated the evening prior he slapped her in the face. Tilton was placed under arrest for domestic violence and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

* Brandon D. Ramage, of 206 Jennison St., Beverly, failure to appear.
The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Wednesday and Thursday:
* Michael Charles Plaugher, 37, of 108 Sacra Via, Marietta, for driving under suspension and contempt of court order, both misdemeanors. Plaugher was arrested at his residence by Deputy Carr of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 17 at 9:31 a.m.
* Kenneth Ewing Tilton, 46, of 730 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, for domestic violence and probation violation, both misdemeanors. Tilton was arrested in Devola by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 17 at 8:58 p.m.
* Ted Jackson Nutter, 41, of 4115 Summersville Lake Road, Summersville, for failure to appear and contempt of court order, both misdemeanors. Nutter was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 17 at 11:57 p.m.
* Heidi Anna Marie Talafhah, 24, of 3301 Central Ave., Parkersburg, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Talafhah was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 18 at 1:30 a.m.
* Thomas Dean Joy, 27, of 106 Fay St., Marietta, for domestic violence and parole violation, both felonies. Joy was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 18 at 2:05 a.m.
* Cody Allen Shankland, 20, of 3568 Finkle Hill Road, Beverly, for possession of drugs, a felony. Shankland was arrested in Beverly by Trooper Knowlton of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 18 at 2:49 a.m.
* Justin Lee Seenes, 21, 622 Baker St., Zanesville, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Seenes was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Richards of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 18 at 4:19 a.m.
* Richard Stepfon Wilson, 21, of 450 Baker St., Zanesville, for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors. Wilson was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Aug. 18 at 6:07 a.m.
