MARIETTA – On June 29, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges.

* On June 25, J. Robert Hadley of Hadley Funeral Home at 1021 Pike St., Marietta, Family Ford at 909 Pike St., Marietta, and Herrington Yoak Automotive at 1011 Pike St., Marietta, all reported damage done to vehicles on their property. The value of damaged property was over $3,000. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 25, deputies responded to 2450 Pleasants Ridge Road, Marietta, in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Charles William Baker stated he went to a relative’s residence to purchase a boat with his live-in girlfriend, Janet Sue Barton. Baker stated Barton had been consuming alcohol and he felt she was intoxicated when they left to go purchase the boat. On the way back to the residence Barton started an argument with Baker in which she began slapping and scratching him while he was driving. Baker asked Barton to stop, which she did not, and he then tried to get her to quit hitting him. Barton at one point grabbed the steering wheel so Baker pulled off the road and parked the vehicle, got out, and took the keys with him. Deputies spoke with Barton and she admitted to starting the argument and stated that he only put his hands on her because she was “beating him.” Barton, 58, of 2450 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On June 25, deputies along with the Warren Township Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to Old School Lane, Fleming. It was reported that Keith A. Schwendeman had been burning wood and brush at his home on Christy Road when he threw gasoline on the fire, which caused him to get burned on his arms.

* On June 26, Deputy Huffer was patrolling Ohio 821, Muskingum Township, when he encountered a vehicle exceeding the speed limit. Donna R. Malcolm, of 6886 Ohio 821, Whipple, was cited for speed.

* On June 26, Sgt. Johnson observed a one-vehicle accident on Ohio 821, Salem Township. Bailey Pierce Jr., of 40367 Stoney Creek Road, Caldwell, was operating a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox northbound when he went off the left side of the roadway and came to stop in a ditch. The vehicle sustained minor damage.

* On June 26, deputies responded to Newport Township in reference to a possible assault. A caller reported seeing a man throw a small woman to the ground near the St. Marys bridge. With the assistance of Ohio State Highway Patrol Post 84, contact was made with Charles L. Hunt Jr., 47, of 45 Waugh St., Newport. Hunt stated that he got into an argument with Rachelle Bonar, his live-in girlfriend, when she left the home with her child to walk to St. Marys. Hunt stated he followed behind her, at one point grabbing her purse, which caused her strap to break. Hunt stated that she fell to the ground. In speaking with Bonar, she stated that Hunt did grab her purse strap and “yanked” her. She further stated that he grabbed her by the hair and was jerking and swinging her around. There were no visible marks; however Bonar stated that he has struck her in the past. The child gave the same account of what occurred. A protection order was requested by the victim. Charles Hunt was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On June 27, Deputy Hunter was dispatched to the Barlow Par Mar to meet with a subject in reference to Timothy Bobo, 9630 Ohio 550, Vincent, having eggs thrown on cars and his house and toilet paper strewn about.

* On June 27, Deputy Reeder along with the Devola, Lowell Adams and the Beverly Waterford Volunteer Fire Department Squads were dispatched to Air Heater Seal, Sunset Lane, Waterford, where Anthony Hanes had cut himself with a hand grinder. No foul play is suspected, and no life threatening injuries were received.

* On June 27, Deputy Reeder met with an employee of Kraton, Belpre, who had found a credit card in the parking lot of the park. The owner was located and the card returned.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Tuesday and Wednesday:

* Scott James Freeman, 34, of Summerfield, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Freeman was arrested on Ohio 60 in Lowell by Deputy Huffer of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 28, at 12:42 p.m.

* Jesse Scott Books, 33, of 736 Greene St., Marietta, for disorderly conduct and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors. Books was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Dennison with the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 28, at 4:02 p.m.

* Brandon Michael Hall, 31, of 721 Ohio Ave., Belpre, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Hall was arrested by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 28, at 5:11 p.m.

* Shawn Eugene Covey, 39, of 250 County House Lane, Marietta, for failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, speeding, failure to reinstate driver’s license, and failure to display on disabled vehicles, all misdemeanors. Covey was arrested on Tennis Center Drive by Trooper Seabolt of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 28, at 5:23 p.m.

* Samuel Adam Bruce, 26, of 29765 Ohio 7, Marietta, for failure to appear, a felony. Bruce turned himself in at the Washington County Jail on June 28, at 6:10 p.m.

* Kevin Paul Lutchmansingh, 39, of 775 Buckeye Ave., Marietta, for menacing, a misdemeanor. Lutchmansingh was arrested on Acme Street by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 28, at 7:26 p.m.

* William Scott Biehl, 41, of 129 Arrow Drive, Marietta, for domestic violence and menacing, both misdemeanors. Biehl was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 29, at 1:56 a.m.

MARIETTA?- On June 27, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

The following individuals were recently sentenced in Washington County Common Pleas Court:

* Jennifer Marie Legleitner, 27, of 66 Wynncrest Drive, for failure to send child to school; $100 fine to be paid within three months.

* Ronald Louis Morehouse, 33, of 1515 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, for assault, Washington County Jail 45 days.

* Kimberly Darlene Bonnett, 43, of 1360 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, for theft, Washington County Jail 125 days.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Friday and Monday:

* Robert Lee Adams, 31, of 300 Ivey St., Parkersburg, for falsification and receiving stolen property, both misdemeanors, and for probation violation, a felony. Adams was arrested on Washington Boulevard by Patrolman Holliday of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 24, at 7:43 p.m.

* Bailey Richard Lee, 19, of 395 Warrior Drive, Vincent, for theft of drugs, a felony, and for drug possession, a misdemeanor. Lee was arrested on Warrior Drive by Deputy Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 24, at 10:43 p.m.

* Janet Sue Barton, 58, of 2450 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Barton was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Huffer of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 25, at 4:44 p.m.

* Melissa Dawn Gilbert, 45, of 603 Palmer Drive, Parkersburg, for theft, a misdemeanor. Gilbert was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Hilverding of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 25, at 4:49 p.m.

* Dale A Doebereiner, 29, of 2127 Righteous Ridge Road, Waterford, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Doebereiner was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 26 at 3:45 a.m.

* Jimmy Ray Shrader II, 25, of 521 Barclay St., Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Shrader was arrested by Patrolman Nichols of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 26, at 6:54 p.m.

* Charles Lee Hunt Jr., 47, of Waugh St., Newport, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hunt was arrested in Newport by Deputy Allender of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 26, at 9:59 p.m.

* James Aron Barker, 23, of 1407 Seventh Avenue, Huntington, for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. Barker was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Bonnette of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 27, at 12:21 a.m.

* Jonathon Michael Stewart, 19, of 118 Deerwalk Circle, for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. Stewart was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Bonnette of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 27, at 1:40 a.m.

* Delicia NWM Davis, 38, of 2875 Artisan Drive, Huntington, for OVI alcohol or drug abuse and possession of drugs, both misdemeanors, and for improper handling of a firearm, a felony. Davis was arrested on Interstate 77 by Trooper Shirer of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 27, at 4:30 a.m.

On June 28, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 21, employees of Par Mar, Moores Junction, Marietta, reported items taken from the business.

* On June 21, it was reported that a dog belonging to Stephen Partin, of 313 Franklin St., Marietta, had gotten loose from the home and attacked a neighbor’s dog. The dog suffered minor injuries. A summons is being requested for Partin for failing to restrain his dog.

* On June 23, deputies and the Devola Volunteer Fire Department responded to Devola to an unresponsive male subject. No foul play is suspected.

* On June 23, William J. Berg, of 515 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, reported damage done to his Dodge vehicle.

* On June 23, an inmate at the Washington County Jail, Andy J. Simon, advised officers that he found a discrepancy in his inmate account. A review of records found that Charles Raymond Miller, 20, of 910 Caywood Road, Marietta, had used Simon’s account to make phone calls. Charges of theft were filed on Miller through Marietta Municipal Court.

* On June 24, Justin A. Ross, of 155 Mount Tom Pines Road, Marietta, Shane R. Zoller, of 5 Robison Lane, Marietta, and Jackie H. Norman, of 300 Woodland Acres Road, Marietta, reported vehicles entered at their homes and items being taken. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 24, deputies along with the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to Belpre Township to an unresponsive male subject. No foul play is suspected.

* On June 24, Benjamin L. Bowers, of 1530 Nichols Road, Whipple, reported purchases totaling over $500 were charged to his credit card that were not made by him or anyone within his company, Modern Pest Control. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 24, deputies along with the Newport Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to Newport Township to an unresponsive male subject. No foul play is suspected.

* On June 24, deputies were dispatched to the Dollar General at 10282 Ohio 550, Vincent, to a report of an impaired male subject that was inside the business. The individual, identified as Bailey Richard Lee, 19, of 395 Warrior Drive, Vincent, had left the business prior to deputies arriving. Deputies responded to the residence of Lee in which he advised he had taken medication, not his own, in order to relax. Lee was placed under arrest for theft of drugs and possession of a controlled substance and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

The following warrants were received at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:

* Bradley Douglas Worstell, 29725 Ohio 7, Marietta, for obstructing official business.

* Julie Annette Ash, of 5425 Caywood Road, Whipple, for failure to appear.

* Osten Michael Hartshorn, of 2015 Newells Run Road, Newport, for failure to appear.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Monday and Tuesday:

* Brian Michael Pritchett, 20, of 1007 Long Run Road, Newport, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Pritchett was arrested at the Marietta City Probation Office by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 27 at 1:57 p.m.

* Kevin Walter Reynolds, 46, of 8877 McKown Lane, Beverly, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and failure to appear, a felony. Reynolds was arrested at the Washington County Jail by Deputy Farrell of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 27 at 5:23 p.m.

* Stephanie Marie Rogerson, 34, of 85 Ohio St., Wheeling, for receiving stolen property, a misdemeanor. Rogerson was arrested at the Guernsey County Jail by Deputy Moyers of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 27 at 5:37 p.m.

* Miguel Angel Vallejo, 19, of 103 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for FRA suspension and failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Vallejo was arrested at the Washington County Jail by Deputy Farrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 27 at 6:03 p.m.

* Chavazze Levi Kidder, 22, of 148 Oak Drive, Little Hocking, for probation violation and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors. Kidder was arrested in Little Hocking by Deputy Metts of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 27 at 10:27 p.m.

* Ted Jackson Nutter, 41, of Tadpole Run, Belpre, for DUS/ license violation, a misdemeanor. Nutter was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Whittington of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 28 at 3:20 a.m.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – On June 24, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports:

* On June 20, Sgt. McGilton responded to Rocky Point Road, Fleming, to a report of a loose German shepherd and spaniel mix entering property belonging to Tamera Wellspring, of 1179 Rocky Point Road, and attacking her Miniature Pincher. This dog later died. Notification was made to the owners in which they stated they would comply with the dangerous dog notice. A summons for Diane Conley, 54, 1656 Rocky Point Road, Fleming, will be requested through Marietta Municipal Court.

* On June 21, deputies responded to Belpre Township in reference to a 17-year-old juvenile who had struck his mother and broken a window. The juvenile also threw things that were outside of the residence as well as making several threats to family members. The juvenile is being charged with two counts of domestic violence and one count of criminal damaging. The juvenile was transported to the Washington County Juvenile Center.

* On June 22, deputies responded to Par Mar, 66 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, regarding a male and female entering the store. The female subject went to a cigar rack and obtained one to two packs of cigars and placed them in her jacket. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 22, Justin M. Powell, of 15459 Ohio 555, Cutler, reported a break-in at a garage located at 1810 Ohio 550, Cutler.

* On June 23, a Doberman belonging to John Alexander Rauch, 21, 104 Cherokee Drive, Marietta, got loose from 400 Greene St.. The dog was picked up by the Marietta City Police Department and transported to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley. Rauch had been advised in the past about restraining his dog as it had gotten loose in the past. A summons for failure to restrain is being requested for Rauch.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail on Thursday:

* Leroy Junior Clark, 41, of 4325 Brandberry Road, Marietta, on warrants for failure to appear, three counts, and fugitive from justice, all misdemeanors. Clark was arrested at the Noble County Jail by Deputy Sheaves of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 23 at 12:13 p.m.

* Nicole Leigh Weekly, 38, of 718 Ohio Ave., Belpre, on a warrant for failure to confine/restrain a dog, a misdemeanor. Weekly was arrested at her residence by Deputy Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 23 at 12:31 p.m.

* Brandon Lee Rice, 20, of 16411 Kramer Road, Mount Perry, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Rice was arrested at the Marietta City Probation Department by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 23 at 4:29 p.m.

* Robert Matthew Parrish, 39, of 310 Jones Run Road, Rinard Mills, for failure to comply with order of police officer, driving under suspension and no headlights, all misdemeanors. A charge of parole violation, a felony, was added upon his arrival at the jail. Parrish was arrested on Colegate Drive by Patrolman Richards of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 23 at 11:08 p.m.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – On June 21, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 20, Deputy Hunter and Deputy Black responded to Salem Township to a report of possible domestic violence. Through an investigation this case was found to be unfounded.

* On June 20, Earl D. Griffin, of 2460 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, reported his home entered and items taken.

* On June 20, deputies responded to McGill Road, Vincent, in reference to the behavior of Misty Dawn Martin, 27, of 1460 McGill Road. Witnesses were met with and due to the intoxicated state of Martin she was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On June 20, Deputy Allender responded to the Byers Exxon in reference to a child crossing Ohio 7 without adult supervision. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 21, deputies were dispatched to the Pit Stop, Ohio 821, regarding an impaired driver that had pulled onto the lot. A witness had followed the vehicle on Ohio 821 from Ohio 60 and observed the vehicle all over the road. Two subjects were located at the business and it was determined that the female, Cheryl Hesson Herlan, 51, 19932 Crooked Tree Road, Dexter City, was the operator of the vehicle. Herlan also advised officers that she was the operator. She was asked to perform field sobriety tests which she agreed to; however, she performed poorly on those tests. Herlan was transported to the Washington County Jail after being placed under arrest for OVI.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday:

* Misty Dawn Martin, 27, of 1460 McGill Road, Vincent, for disorderly conduct intoxication, a misdemeanor. Martin was arrested at her residence by Deputy Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 21 at 12:33 a.m.

* Cheryl Ann Herlan, 51, of 19932 Crooked Tree Road, Dexter City, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Herlan was arrested by Deputy Hunter of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 21 at 1:53 a.m.

* Kendrick Latrent McClain, 45, of 116 Walker St., Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. McClain was arrested by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 21 at 4:35 a.m.

MARIETTA – On June 22, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 19, Deputy J. Hall was entering Wal-Mart, at 804 Pike St., Marietta, when he observed Bradley Worstell, who has two outstanding warrants through Marietta Municipal Court, and one warrant through the Adult Parole Authority. Hall is familiar with Worstell due to Worstell being incarcerated in the Washington County Jail on numerous occasions. Hall followed Worstell through the parking lot advising Worstell of his name, office affiliation and rank. Deputy Hall ordered Worstell to stop as there were warrants for his arrest. As Deputy Hall was about to take hold of the suspect, he fled. Deputy Hall pursued Worstell through the parking lot and into the field behind the Go-Mart gas station where he lost sight of him. The tractor trailers in the parking lot were checked with negative results. The Marietta Police Department was contacted and several officers responded, assisting in checking the area, with negative results. A warrant is being requested for Bradley Douglas Worstell, 20, of 29725 Ohio 7, Marietta, for obstructing official business.

* On June 21, deputies along with the Little Muskingum and Newport Volunteer Fire Department Squads responded to the residence of Jerrold W. Eddy, of 760 Bear Run Road, Reno. Eddy was reported to have been trapped under a trailer holding a boat. It appears no foul play is suspected; however, this case remains under investigation.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Tuesday and Wednesday:

* Jennifer Marie Legleitner, 27, of 66 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for failure to appear in Juvenile Court, a misdemeanor. Legleitner was arrested in Washington County Juvenile Court by Deputy Huffer of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 21 at 5:30 p.m.

* Sarah Nicole Nedley, 28, of 410 Main St., New Matamoras, on a warrant from Muskingum County for drug possession, a felony. Nedley was arrested in New Matamoras by Sgt. Blamble of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 21 at 7:10 p.m.

* Deanna Marie Dobbins, 40, of 211 Poplar Lane, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, cease and desist, resisting arrest, two counts of disorderly conduct (fighting), disorderly conduct and breach of recognizance. Dobbins was arrested by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 22 at 3:11 a.m.

* Jennifer Lynn Lyons, 35, of 103 Chapel Ave., Marietta, for probation violation, a felony. Lyons was arrested by Deputy Moyers of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 22 at 9:35 a.m.

* Kierston Leann Holbrooks-Mick, 26, of 1504 Covert St., Parkersburg, for burglary/complicity, a felony. Holbrooks-Mick was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheaves of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 22 at 10:11 a.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on June 23.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Wednesday and Thursday:

* Kelly Jane Farnsworth, 28, of 122 Harmar St., Marietta, for assault and obstructing view and control of driver-opening door into moving traffic, both misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested on Ohio 7 by Patrolman Jones of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 22 at 6:43 pm

* Daniel William Phipps, 41, of 288 Ridgewood Court, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, intoxication, a misdemeanor. Phipps was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 22 at 8:02 p.m.

* Crystal Dawn Davis, 39, 126 Elm St., Belpre, for disorderly conduct, intoxication, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Whittington of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 23 at 1:51 a.m.

* Ashley N. Caplinger, 24, 98 Boaz Garden Drive, Williamstown, for assault, a misdemeanor. Caplinger was arrested at the Locker Room by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 23 at 3:58 a.m.

* Harry Wanta Kim, 28, of 414 John St., Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Kim was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Whittington of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 23 at 5:28 a.m.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – On June 20, the Washington County Sheiff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 15, dogs belonging to Shane F. Carpenter, 44, of 370 Cisler Ridge Road, New Matamoras, were loose at his residence. The dogs at the time killed cats belonging to two residents nearby. It was learned that the dogs had not been registered through the Washington County Auditor’s Office and were transported to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley. Carpenter spoke with Sgt. McGilton and advised that he would make arrangements to ensure the dogs were restrained. A summons is being requested for Carpenter for failure to restrain and failure to register.

* On June 15, Sgt. McGilton responded to 604 Ferry St., Beverly, the home of Carrie and James Huglin, in reference to dogs running loose at this location. While at the scene it was learned these dogs were not registered through the Washington County Auditor’s Office. A notice was left, however, no response has been made to Sgt. McGilton. A summons is requested for the Huglins for failure to register.

* On June 15, Rose L. Church, of 179 Second St., Vincent, reported a Polaris 500CC ATV was removed from her residence.

* On June 18, Deputy Carr responded to Michigan Avenue in reference to the homeowner waking and finding a subject unknown to him asleep on his couch. Upon Carr arriving the subject was awakened. The subject had slurred speech and asked what Carr was doing in his home. The subject, Matthew Allen Altizer, 23, of 2215 Highland Road, Parkersburg, was advised that he was not at his home. He stated that he was at a Strecker Lane address, and had been dropped off at this location by this mother. Altizer was advised that he was not on Strecker Lane but on Michigan Avenue. The home was checked and nothing was found to be missing. Carr learned that Altizer was on probation in Parkersburg and was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On June 19, in the early morning hours Deputy McKee was in the Marietta Municipal Court parking lot and observed a vehicle pull into the parking lot and park. The occupants were asked if they could be helped in which an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. The driver, Vanessa Lynn Beach, 32, of 86 Eagle View Drive, Zanesville, stated that she was going to her hotel room. Beach was asked to exit the vehicle where she was unsteady on her feet. Beach had noticeably glassy and red eyes. Beach agreed to standardized field sobriety tests, which she performed poorly on. Beach further stated that she had been consuming alcoholic beverages prior to operating the vehicle. Beach was placed under arrest for OVI and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On June 19, Sabrina Dawn Dunn, of 807 Grandview Ave., New Matamoras, reported damage done to property she had at 534 Cemetery Drive, New Matamoras.

* On June 19, Deputy Hall along with the Newport Volunteer Fire Department Squad and Reno Squad responded to 1715 Newells Run Road, Newport where Gary Seevers had cut his fingers while operating a table saw. Medical attention was given to Seevers. No foul play is suspected.

* Jesse Shawn Lyons, 37, of 103 Chapel Ave., Marietta, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Lyons was arrested at the Marietta Municipal Court by Probation E. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 17 at 3:41 p.m.

* Sabrina Rose Houghton, 38, of 36735 Texas Road, Pomeroy, on a warrant from Franklin County for failure to appear, a felony. Houghton was arrested on Ohio 50, Belpre, by Trooper Roe of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 17 at 5:38 p.m.

* Terry Brian Fox, 42, of 317 Walnut St., Belpre, for 2 counts drug possession, drug instrument possession, felonies, obstructing official business and wrongful entrustment of motor vehicle, both misdemeanors. Fox was arrested on Washington Boulevard by Patrolman Campbell of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 17 at 10:05 p.m.

* Cheyanne Natasha Nikole Kirl, 23, of 502 Parmaco St., Apt. 1, Parkersburg, for 2 counts drug possession, both felonies, obstructing official business, drug paraphernalia, drug instrument possession, OVI, driving under suspension and failure to register, all misdemeanors. Kirl was arrested on Washington Boulevard by Patrolman Stump of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 18 at 1:47 a.m.

MARIETTA – On June 17, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 13, Sgt. McGilton responded to Beverly where a dog belonging to Tiffany McPherson, 204 Seventh St., Beverly, had been loose and bit a subject who was walking. McPherson advised she did not know about the dog biting. A citation for failure to register was issued to McPherson.

* On June 15, Deputy Parks responded to 1382 Vickers Road, Marietta where a 1995 Mercedes Benz owned by Edker Carpenter, 431 Emmaus Road, Belpre, was damaged.

* On June 15, Rhonda Brooks of 2150 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, reported a LOSI 22 Radio control car was missing. The car is valued at over $600.

* On June 15, Deputy Johnson responded to the 9900 block of Ohio 60, Lowell, to recover syringes found along the roadway. These items will be marked for destruction.

* On June 15, Sgt. Johnson met with a Muskingum Township resident who feared his identify had been compromised. During the investigation it was found that this was not the case. This case is closed, unfounded.

* On June 16, deputies responded to 2301 Ohio 550, Cutler, to the Citizens Bank Co. A subject at that location had alerted the Sheriff’s Office that upon arriving at the bank in the morning hours they observed broken glass around the bank. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 16, Deputy Parks responded to Barlow Township in reference to a possible telecommunication offense. This case remains under investigation.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Thursday June 16 and Friday June 17:

* Nathan Allen Ross, 27, of 178 Hancock St., Newark, on a warrant for OVI and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors. Ross was picked up at the Muskingum County Jail by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 16 at 12:33 p.m.

* Dillon Gage Anderson, 21, of 712 Fifth St., Marietta, for theft, a felony. Anderson was arrested on Fifth Street by Patrolman Bonnette of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 16 at 11:07 p.m.

* Daniel Earl Sciance, 20, of 1007 North Ridge St., Marietta, for theft, a felony. Sciance was arrested on Fifth Street by Patrolman Bonnette of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 16 at 11:36 p.m.

* Kelsey Renee McConnell, 22, of 1347 Lynn St., Parkersburg, for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. McConnell was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Champion of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 17 at 1:54 a.m.

* Kaitlyn Marie Cozzens, 21, of 501 Warren St., Marietta, for disorderly conduct. Cozzens was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 17 at 3:36 a.m.

* Heidi Anna Marie Talafhah, of 3301 Central Avenue, Parkersburg, on a warrant for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Talafhah was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 17 at 4:17 a.m.

MARIETTA – On June 16, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 12, deputies were dispatched to 1940 Ohio 555, Little Hocking, in reference to an assault. Sabrina M. Staats, of 263 Linton Hill Road, Little Hocking, reported that she and an acquaintance, Joshua S. Deem, 25, of 39 Baltimore St., Parkersburg, went to a club in W.Va. and after leaving the club ended up at the fairgrounds in Mineral Wells. A verbal disagreement occurred in which Deem put his hands on her throat as she tried to push him away. Staats stated that Deem then bit her, and continued biting her in numerous places. Staats states they then drove back to Ohio where she tried communicating via texts to get help, advising where they were and what Deem was saying and doing. At one point a vehicle with occupants known to her came up behind them in Little Hocking and Deem slammed on the brakes to let the truck hit them. Deem exited his vehicle, breaking the mirror with his fists. Deem approached the driver, Steven Sayre, of 1940 Ohio 555, Little Hocking, and the two engaged in a fight, with Deem also biting Sayre. At that time Staats exited the vehicle and got into Sayre’s vehicle. Sayre also returned to his vehicle and they left the area. Deem is known to have returned to W.Va. to his home. A warrant for the arrest of Deem is being requested through Marietta Municipal Court for kidnapping and two counts of assault.

* On June 15, Deputy Hunter and Deputy Black responded to 10678 Ohio 550, Barlow, to meet with Robert E. Gorham. Gorham reports his 2001 Ford Ranger was removed from his property. Deputies were contacted shortly after arriving at the home and advised that the Ohio State Highway Patrol had recovered the Ford Ranger, which was involved in a crash, and was inoperable. This case remains under investigation.

Strahler was arrested at the Marietta City Probation Department by Patrolman McElroy of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on June 15 at 9:25 a.m.

* Susan Lorain Morrow, 45, of Washington County Fairgrounds, Marietta, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Morrow was arrested in New Matamoras by Patrolman Blamble of the New Matamoras Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on June 15 at 2:26 p.m.

* Christina Marie Hower, 31, of 1121 Veto Road, Belpre, for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor. Hower was arrested on Pike Street by Patrolman Dennison of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 15 at 10:02 p.m.

* Vicky Jean Yarbrough, 53, of 1481 West Rich Street, Columbus, for drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Yarbrough was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Campbell of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 15 at 10:47 p.m.

MARIETTA – On June 15, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 12, Ryan Beran, of 6430 Ireland Road, Windsor, reported someone was trespassing on his property on Earl Place Road.

* On June 13, Sgt. McGilton responded to the Denise Magyarosi and Troy Cunningham residence, at 9867 Veto Road, Belpre, to check on the welfare of animals on the property. There were three kennels at the rear of the home where Collie dogs were housed. The dogs appeared thin with bones protruding and matted fur. Seven dogs were removed from the property and transported to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley. The dogs were found to be between 15-25 pounds underweight. Charges of cruelty to companion animals and failure to register the dogs will be filed through Marietta Municipal Court on Magyarosi and Cunningham.

* On June 13, a Pit-bull belonging to Theodore Ludtman, of 106 Skyvue Circle, Marietta, ran loose from his residence and attacked another dog belonging to Randy Forbes, of 104 Skyvue Circle. Ludtman has been cited for failure to restrain his dog.

* On June 13, Terra Lynn Wittekind, of 1060 Lynch Church Road, Marietta, struck a pole at Dollar General, at 10200 Ohio 60, Lowell. No damage was done to the pole.

* On June 13, deputies along with the Newport Volunteer Fire Department Squad were dispatched to 2560 Bells Run Road, Newport, to an unresponsive male subject. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 14, Deputy Schwendeman received a warrant from the Wood County Magistrate Court, Parkersburg, for inmate Davie Gene Flowers, 60, of 922 Greenhill Road, Marietta. The warrant was issued in 2015 for driving under the influence of alcohol. All personal information was checked and found to be the same individual. Flowers is charged with being a fugitive from West Virginia.

The following suspect was processed into the Washington County Jail on Tuesday:

* Nathan Joseph Hughes, 38, of Parkersburg, on a warrant for trespass occupied structure, a misdemeanor, breach of recognizance, falsification and obstructing official business, all felonies. Hughes was arrested at the South Central Regional Jail by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 14 at 5:24 p.m.

* Everett Christopher Freeland, 31, 110 Lee St., Belpre; fifth-degree felony possession of drugs and first-degree misdemeanor possession of drugs, 90 days, and fourth-degree felony breach of recognizance, 60 days.

* Meriah Shay Dunn, 25, 9630 Ohio 260 New Matamoras; drug possession and trafficking, 34 months, drug possession, tampering with evidence, 3 years, 36 months, concurrent.

The following suspect was processed into the Washington County Jail on Monday, said the sheriff’s office.

* Michael Paul Surface, 41, 107 Ray St., Parkersburg, on five warrants for theft, all misdemeanors. Surface was arrested in the Washington County Courthouse by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – On June 13, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 11, deputies were dispatched to Tick Ridge Road and Veto Road to a possible driver being impaired. Sgt. Holbert met with the driver, Jason L. Dicken, who was issued a citation for driving under suspension. No impairment was detected by the officer.

* On June 11, Ronald D. Wilhelm, of Ravenna, reported a 2002 Suzuki Vinson ATV, a Craftsman mower and a Craftsman riding mower were all removed from property on Wilson Run Road.

* On June 11, deputies were called to Lowell in reference to an altercation at the Duke Station. Through investigation it was determined that Joseph Franklin Wells, 25, of Lowell, had possibly violated his probation through Marietta Municipal Court. Probation Officer P. Brockmeier was contacted and made entry into the Wells home, where Joseph Wells was found hiding from officers. Wells was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with probation violation.

* On June 12, Deputy Johnson was called to the Washington County Jail in reference to Brittni Cheyenne Messick, 23, of Muskingum Drive, Marietta, having drugs on her person when she was booked into the jail. The drugs are believed to be meth. Charges of conveying into a detention facility, a third-degree felony, were filed.

* On June 12, Angeline D. Carpenter, of 4920 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, reported an active domestic dispute with Joseph A. Carpenter, of Whipple. Deputies met with Ms. Carpenter who stated that she had been arguing with her ex-husband about a custody exchange. The Carpenters then agreed to meet at the Par Mar gas station on Ohio 821 and upon Mr. Carpenter arriving he began yelling and cursing at Ms. Carpenter, also slapping the car window while she sat inside the vehicle. Upon exiting her vehicle Mr. Carpenter continued making derogatory and threatening remarks to her. Once Ms. Carpenter called 911 Mr. Carpenter left the area. Deputies responded to Whipple to the residence of Joseph Carpenter and placed him under arrest for domestic violence.

MARIETTA – Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on June 9.

* On June 5, Deputy Reeder and the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to Allman Road to an unresponsive male subject. No foul play is suspected.

* On June 5, Sgt. McGilton responded to 410 Alderman Street, Marietta, where two Pit-bull dogs were loose. These dogs were on the neighboring property and entered into a fenced area where the neighbor’s dogs were. The dog attacked and killed one of the neighbor’s dog and has since been designated as a “dangerous dog.” A citation for failure to restrain is being issued to Victoria Lynn Lowery, 32, 410 Alderman Street, Marietta.

* On June 6, Deputy Parks responded to 70 Anderson Lane, Waterford, in reference to a telecommunications harassment complaint. The victim, Natasha Rice, reports receiving multiple harassing messages through texts from a subject known to her. Some of the texts indicated that Ms. Rice should cause physical harm to herself. Ms. Rice reported that she does fear this subject. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 6, Deputy Johnson responded to Belpre Township in reference to a possible domestic situation. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 6, Timothy D. Miller, 1075 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported that a SKI 9mm handgun was missing.

* On June 7, personnel with Waterford Township reported someone had broken into the township building and power tools were found to be missing.

* June 8, Deputy McConnell responded to Par Mar, Moores Junction, Marietta, to a possible theft. Food items, valued at approximately $4, were reported stolen.

* Chad Anthony Burdette, 33, 470 Hartline Road, Whipple, for possession of drugs, a felony. Burdette was arrested at the Washington County Jail by Deputy Schwendeman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Samuel Edward Dotson, 45, Salem Correctional Center, W.Va., on warrants for misuse of credit card, forgery and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, all felonies. Dotson was picked up at the Salem Correctional Center by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Timmy Carson Workman Jr., 32, 62 Challey Lane, Buckhannon, W.Va., for failure to appear, a felony. Workman was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Lacey Renee Waybright, 21, 280 Ridgewood Drive, Marietta, for felonious assault, a felony. Waybright was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Dennison of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Dorothy Jean Prince, 37, 12395 County Nine Road, Newport, for OVI, OVI .08 greater or less than .17, no seat belt, and red light violation, all misdemeanors. Prince was arrested on Byers Road by Trooper Handschumacher of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – On June 8, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On June 8, the Grandview and Newport Volunteer Fire Departments, the New Matamoras Squad and Deputy Allender were dispatched to 45200 Ohio 7, New Matamoras, in reference to a structure fire. The fire departments had the fire under control once the deputy arrived. The owner, Joseph R. Hunt, advised he started a fire to burn brush and then noticed a trailer that was nearby had smoke coming from underneath. The fire was soon out of control and the trailer was fully engulfed. The fire departments quickly extinguished the fire; however the trailer was a total loss. No foul play is suspected.

* On June 3, Sgt. McGilton responded to the Sherry M. Duff residence, 685 Mitchell’s Lane, Marietta, after she learned that a deputy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office had been bitten by Duff’s dog. A deputy was attempting to serve papers at the Duff residence when four small dogs were observed inside the home barking. It was reported that as Duff opened the door, the deputy asked if the dogs would bite, she assured him that they would not. One of the dogs was able to get out the door and bit the deputy on the leg. Duff is being charged with failure to restrain.

* On June 3, Miranda Leigh Hackathorn, 1308 Williamson Ave., New Matamoras, reported that someone had entered her apartment while she was not home. A few items were found to be missing. This case remains under investigation.

* On June 4, Deputy Reeder responded to 5588 Anderson Road, Fleming, in reference to a domestic violence complaint. Information was received that the defendant, Roy Eugene Erb, 32, was going to harm his wife, and had left the home and was hiding outside. Deputies arrived at the scene and spoke with Sara Erb, who stated she and her husband had been arguing for the past few weeks. She stated on this date a verbal argument turned physical when she was trying to leave the home and her husband grabbed her and threatened her. Erb eventually let go of his wife and she fled the home. Deputies then spoke with Roy Erb and after reviewing the statements received, placed Erb under arrest for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail. Mrs. Erb requested a temporary protection order be issued.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received the following warrant:

* Kirk M. Urban, 761 Buckeye Avenue, Marietta, for failure to appear.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Tuesday and Wednesday:

* April Nichole Calvert, 30, of 325 Sandhill Road, Reno, for burglary and theft, both felonies. Calvert was arrested on Sandhill Road by Deputy Allender of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 7 at 4:07 p.m.

* Kenneth Lee Barnhart, 35, 10274 Ohio 550, Vincent, for burglary and theft, both felonies. Barnhart was arrested on Ohio 550 by Deputy Holbert of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 7 at 4:15 p.m.

* Traci Lea Schwendeman, 43, of 205 Bohl Drive, Marietta, for probation violation, a felony. Schwendeman was arrested at the Adult Parole Authority by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 7 at 4:23 p.m.

* Kayla Louise Clark, 27, of 3635 Bosworth Road, Cleveland, on a warrant for nonsupport of dependents. Clark was arrested in Cuyahoga County by Deputy Underwood Sr. of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 7 at 5:20 p.m.

* Zoe Michelle Lee, 25, of Beverly, for burglary, a felony. Lee was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Bonnette of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 7 at 9:03 p.m.

* Natasha Ryan Cunningham, 23, of 7200 Jefferson Street, Elizabeth, for operating a motor vehicle with an expired license. Cunningham was arrested at Speedway by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 8 at 2:53 a.m.

* Richard Anthony Waters, 50, of 107 Sixth Street, Box 542, Beverly, for breach of recognizance and domestic violence, both misdemeanors. Waters was arrested at the Washington County Jail by Deputy Schwendeman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 8 at 6 a.m.

MARIETTA – On June 7, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* Matthew Fitch, 43, of 279 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, probation violation, 17 months at Orient.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Monday and Tuesday:

* Shawn Antonia Williams, 25, of 969 Mound Street, Columbus, for probation violation, a felony. Williams was arrested at the Adult Parole Office by Deputy Moyers of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 6 at 11:13 a.m.

* Hunter Michael Shepard, 21, of 10436 Ohio 550, Vincent, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Shepard was arrested in Vincent by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 6 at 5:31 p.m.

* Brian Smith Church, 38, of 1457 Poplar Avenue, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Church was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Campbell of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 7 at 5:25 a.m.

* Corey Lee Smearman, 27, of 570 Albright Road, Beverly, for breaking and entering, a felony. Smearman was arrested on Veto Road by Deputy Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 7 at 1:15 p.m.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – On June 6, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On May 29, Kurt Morgenstern, of 510 Wheelbarrow Run Road, Marietta, reported that at Castle Campground his storage building was entered and items of value stolen. Items removed include chainsaws, tools and mowing equipment.

* On May 30, Waid F. Day, of 1009 Orchard Street, Marietta, reported that while he was parked at the Leith Run trail to go hiking, someone had broken a vehicle window.

* On June 1, deputies responded to 205 Third Street, Beverly, regarding individuals involved in an altercation in which a firearm was involved. This case is being handled by the Beverly Police Department.

* On June 1, a Marietta Township resident reported receiving a phone call from a female identifying herself as his granddaughter. She stated that she and her friend had been pulled over by an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper and that he found drugs in their car and they were going to jail. A male subject got on the phone and advised that he was Trooper Peter Robinson and that the girl’s bail would be $2,000 and instructed him to buy iTunes cards totaling $2,000, and then call him back with the identification numbers so that the female could see the judge and be released. The subject did as he was asked at that time. The victim became suspicious and went to the Ohio State Highway Patrol and learned that this was a scam currently going around. Information for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office was given to the victim.

* On June 2, deputies were dispatched to Ohio 7, Marietta, the business of Marietta Polaris in reference to a theft complaint. The owner had been missing cash out of the register for weeks and recently learned that the subject removing the cash, totaling around $2,000, was Ethan Wade Ash, 28, of 1365 Gilman Avenue, Marietta, an employee. After speaking with Ash and advising him of his rights, he admitted to taking the money. Ash was placed under arrest and while being patted down for weapons, etc., a plastic baggie was found on his person. Within that bag were two small pills, later identified as Oxycodone a schedule II controlled substance. Ash was arrested and charged with fifth-degree felonies of theft and aggravated possession of drugs.

* On June 2, Jonathan R. Burgess, of 121 Franklin Street, Little Hocking, reported a possible theft as well as trespassing at his property. Burgess reported that subjects removed a security camera from his property.

* On June 2 Latasha D. Johnson, of 1308 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, reported her home entered in the past few days.

* On June 2, Carter Gillespie, of Ohio 339, Watertown, reported a 2005 Honda Rancher ATV was removed from his business property, as well as damage to the property from the subject riding the ATV around before leaving.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

* Chad A. Burdette, of 470 Hartline Road, Whipple, for possession of drugs.

* Audrey Augenstein, of Ohio 676, Waterford, for no dog license.

* Clint A Apperson, of 535 Wickens Road, Macksburg, for probation violation by failing to appear for a scheduled probation appointment.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Friday and Monday:

* Devonne Curtis, 56, of 105 Dudley Avenue, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor, possession of drugs and parole violation, both felonies. Curtis was arrested in Marietta by Deputy McKee of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 3 at 12:52 p.m.

* Andy Julius Simon, 83, of 2335 Newbury Road, Little Hocking, on a warrant for breach of recognizance and menacing by stalking, both misdemeanors. Simon was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Whittington of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 3 at 7:19 p.m.

* David Daniel Carpenter, 52, of 22500 Frostyville Road, Caldwell, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 3 at 9:39 p.m.

* Brandon Lee Gibbs, 23, of 515 Smith Street, Marietta for driving under suspension, no seat belt, and plates/fictitious, all misdemeanors; receiving stolen property, a felony. Gibbs was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 4 at 1:41 p.m.

* William H. Trussell, 29, of 446 18th Avenue, Parkersburg, for theft and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors. Trussell was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Whittington of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 4 at 8 p.m.

* Roy Eugene Erb, 32, of 5588 Anderson Road, Fleming, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Erb was arrested in Fleming by Sgt. McLeish of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 5 at 1:24 a.m.

* Bradley Gene Antill, 37, of 104 Brentwood Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, felony. Antill was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Richards of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 5 at 2:55 p.m.

* Justin Allen Harris, 34, of Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Harris was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 5 at 11:12 p.m.

* Isaac Andrew Conner, 23, of 623 Redhill School Road, Mineral Wells, for assault, probation violation, and breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors. Conner was arrested in Belpre by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 6 at 1 a.m.

* Quintin Avery William Ramirez, 24, of Ohio 555, Little Hocking, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Ramirez was arrested in Little Hocking Deputy Carr of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 6 at 2:09 a.m.

MARIETTA – On June 3, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On May 29, deputies responded to the Parkway Townhouses in New Matamoras in reference to a prowler call. The prowler was seen around apartment 8F, the residence of Jordin Breann Romick. The subject was identified as Keith A. Huff, 32, of 450 Rummer Road, Marietta. Romick allowed officers to search her residence and Huff was located in an upstairs bedroom. Huff admitted to knowing there was a temporary protective order in place. Huff was placed under arrest and charged with violation of protection order and taken to the Washington County Jail.

* On May 29, Deputy Allender responded to Muskingum Township in reference to individuals finding an unknown substance thought to be drugs. This case is under investigation.

* On May 29, Sgt. McGilton assisted the Marietta City Police Department at 149 Sunset Drive, in Marietta, in reference to animal cruelty. This case is under investigation.

* On May 30, Sgt. Farrell received a warrant for shoplifting from the Magistrate Court of Wood County, for an inmate at the Washington County Jail. The personal information provided by Wood County was compared to the personal information on the Jail Booking Record. Shannon Scott Hines, of 1220 Brackenridge Road, Vincent. Hines was charged with being a fugitive from justice from the State of West Virginia and was served with a copy of the warrant and the fugitive charge.

* On May 30, Sgt. Reeder issued a traffic citation to Matthew A. Naso, of 8495 Sunnydale Drive, Breeksville, Ohio, for speeding. Naso was going 87 in a 70 mph zone on Interstate 77.

* On May 30, Deputy Reeder issued a traffic citation to Ryan P Allen, 1607 Hill St., Belpre, for speeding 71 in a 50 mph zone.

* On May 30, Sgt. Reeder issued a traffic citation to Chad William Ryan Jr., 7180 Bloomfield Road, Cambridge, for speeding 83 in a 70 mph zone.

* On May 31, Deputy Reeder and the Wesley Volunteer Fire Department responded to 491 Hill Road, Cutler in reference to a Jayco camper which was on fire, along with a storage building. The property is owned by Thomas N. Sams, 537 Sixth Street, in Marietta. This case remains under investigation.

* On May 30, Deputy McConnell responded to Little Hocking Elementary School, 95 Federal Road, Little Hocking, in reference to a breaking and entering complaint. A suspect vehicle was seen in the area and upon McConnell arriving on scene four subjects were found in the woods close to the school. One school banner that was missing was found in a trash can close to the vehicle. After speaking with two juveniles, they admitted to being in the school and taking the school banners, and other items. The juveniles will be charged through Washington County Juvenile Court. Jaylen Michael Richard, 18, of 1040 Gantsville Road, Little Hocking, provided the ladder they used and admitted to being with the juveniles during the breaking and entering. Richard was arrested for breaking and entering and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On May 30, Sgt. McGilton responded to a complaint in Cutler in reference to two dogs running loose. The caller advised that she knows these dogs to be aggressive and was fearful of what they might do while loose. McGilton was able to locate one of the dogs and transported the dog to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley. McGilton was unable to make contact with the owner of the dogs, Howard McLaughlin II, of 540 King Avenue, Cutler. A check was done through the Washington County Auditor’s Office for updated dog tags. A summons was requested through Marietta Municipal Court for McLaughlin for failing to register his dogs and for failing to restrain his dogs.

* On May 30, Deputy Carr and the Lowell Adams Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to Muskingum River Road, Marietta, in reference to an unresponsive male. No foul play is suspected.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Thursday and Friday:

* Ethan Wade Ash, 28, of 1365 Gilman Avenue, Marietta, for theft and drug possession, both felonies. Ash was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Hunter of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 2 at 9:43 a.m.

* Charles Edwin Day Jr., 33, of 830 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Day was arrested at the Marietta Probation Department by Probation Officer Ferrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 2 at 10:20 a.m.

* Gary Lee Losey II, 34, of 818 Lancaster Street, Marietta, for theft. Losey was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Tewanger of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 2 at 4:24 p.m.

* Kendall Keith Richards, 45, of 1740 Forrest Hills Drive, Vienna, on a warrant for theft, a felony. Richards turned himself in to Deputy Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on June 2 at 10:41 p.m.

* Nickolaus Sprouse, 20, of Marietta, on a warrant for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Sprouse was arrested at the Athens County line by Deputy Thorpe of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 3 at 12:40 a.m.

MARIETTA – On June 2, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On May 28, Shannon Hines and Derik Wittekind, both Washington County Jail inmates, were involved in a verbal argument which turned physical. Charges of assault were given to both.

* On May 28, while Deputy Huffer was on patrol he observed a Jeep driving through the red light at Third and Greene streets, southbound, almost causing an accident. A traffic stop was conducted finding the driver to be Marianne Myers, of 280 Summers Road, Apt. 2, Marietta. A citation for disobeying a traffic control device was issued to Myers.

* On May 28, Walter J. Smith, of 1779 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, reported a Catfish fishing reel and Echo chainsaw were removed from his property. These items are valued at over $200. This case remains under investigation.

* On May 29, Sgt. Johnson responded to 21124 Ohio 676, Marietta, to meet with Tasha D. McAfee. McAtee reported being in a physical altercation with her live in boyfriend, Derek J. Hesson, 30. Hesson was located and placed under arrest for domestic violence.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail on Wednesday:

* Michael James Farnsworth, 27, of Marietta, for assault, criminal damaging, and probation violation, all misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 1 at 11:18 a.m.

* Clark Evan Westbrook, 29, of 2220 Federal Road, Little Hocking, on a warrant for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Westbrook was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Holbert of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on June 1 at 11:39 a.m.

* Deandre Antonio White, 42, of 2684 Glenbriar Street, Columbus, for trafficking in drugs, 2 counts, both felonies. White was arrested on Putnam Street by Sgt. Anderson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on June 1 at 12:10 p.m.

* Dale Eric Canter, Jr., 33, of 509 Chestnut Street, Conneaut, on warrants for probation violation, passing bad checks, and contempt of court, all misdemeanors. Canter was arrested by Deputy Black of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on June 1 at 12:55 p.m.

* Eric Brandon Siders, 27, of 6070 Sandhill Road, Marietta, on a warrant for drug possession, two counts, both felonies. Siders was arrested at Kmart by Deputy Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on June 1 at 6:37 p.m.

* Christopher Eric Drayer, 46, 20470 Ohio 60, Beverly, for criminal trespass and menacing, both misdemeanors. Drayer was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Sams of the Beverly Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on June 1 at 7:49 p.m.

* Joshua Rodney Day Reid, 22, of 1121 Tarklin Road, Lancaster, on a warrant from Fairfield County for nonsupport of dependents. Reid was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Campbell of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 1 at 8:57 p.m.

* Weston Charles Hickman, 23, of 721 Old River Road, Little Hocking, for fugitive from justice, a felony. Hickman was arrested by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on June 1 at 10:40 p.m.

MARIETTA – On May 31, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On May 27, Denise Helen Thompson, of 351 Spencer Road, Belpre, reported receiving bad checks of $775 and $250. A warrant will be requested for Melissa K. McAfee, 6522 Grant Ave., Cambridge, for bad checks.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Friday and Monday.

* Chante LaFawn Rake, 24, of 108 W. Eighth Street, Williamstown, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Rake was arrested by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 27.

* Billie Jo Dye, 36, of Belpre, for driving under suspension, no seat belt, fictitious plates, drug paraphernalia and a warrant for non-support of dependents, all misdemeanors. Dye was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Tewanger of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 27.

* Derek Skylar Steward, of 436 Fifth Street, Marietta, for domestic violence and child endangering, both misdemeanors. Steward was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Huck of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 27.

* Nathan Lee Davis, 32, of Marietta, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 27.

* Joseph Ryan Hammond, 36, of 1137 Cisler Drive, Marietta, for domestic violence and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Hammond was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 27.

* Thomas Ira Valentine, 34, of 305 Harmar Street, Marietta, for driving under suspension and menacing, all misdemeanors. Valentine was arrested on Ohio 7 by Deputy Huffer of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on May 28.

* Robin Lea Wolfe, 48, of 1216 Greenhill Road, Marietta, on a warrant for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Wolfe turned herself in to Deputy Allender of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on May 28.

* Michael Scott Salisbury, 26, of 230 Wood Street, Sistersville, for drug possession, a felony, drug paraphernalia and theft, both misdemeanors. Salisbury was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McElroy of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 28.

* Chad William Hall, 32, of 865 Cornerville Road, Reno, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Hall was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Bonnette of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 28.

* Jason Christopher Fleeman, 36, of 711 Ninth Street, Marietta, for 2 counts of domestic violence, both felonies. Fleeman was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 29.

* Derek Joseph Hesson, 30, of 21124 Ohio 676, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hesson was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on May 29.

* Keith Allen Huff, 32, of 450 Rummer Road, Marietta, on two counts of violation of a probation order, both misdemeanors. Huff was arrested in New Matamoras by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Roger William Warfield, 62, of 149 Sunset Drive, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Warfield was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huck of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 29.

* Glenda Renea Roush, 32, of Marietta, for theft, falsification and probation violation, all misdemeanors. Roush was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McElroy of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 29.

* Jeremy Allen Hines, 23, of 2146 16th Street, Parkersburg, on a warrant for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Hines was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman Bonnette of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 30.

* Christopher Lee Snyder, 39, of 3017 Cityview Drive, Parkersburg, for theft, a misdemeanor. Snyder was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hanson of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 30.

MARIETTA – On June 1, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports.

* On May 27, Sgt. McGilton responded to 2100 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, to the Ashley Barcelli and Amanda Stidham residence regarding the Pit-bull at that residence running loose. The dog was in the roadway and had been chasing vehicles. Upon arrival the dog could not be located; however, a notice was posted for the residents to contact McGilton. On May 31 at 6:30 p.m., another report of dog running loose was received. The dog was reported to be loose every morning for at least the past month. Deputy Reeder responded to the scene and upon finding the dog running loose, and no one home, transported the dog to the Humane Society. The residents, Barcelli and Stidham, responded to the Humane Society to claim their dog. A citation for failure to register and failure to confine is being filed on Stidham, Barcelli.

* On May 27, deputies along with the Reno Volunteer Fire Department Squad responded to Ohio 7, Reno, to an unresponsive female.

* On May 27, deputies along with the Beverly Waterford Squad, Devola Volunteer Fire Department Squad and Beverly Police responded to 208 Second Street, Beverly, to a possible overdose. This case remains under investigation.

* On May 27, Jeffrey Loane, of 90 Oliver Road, Whipple, reported that he had been receiving correspondence in reference to money paid to eBay for purchases, which he states he has not made. This case remains under investigation.

* On May 28, deputies were dispatched to Ohio 60 where it was reported that Thomas Valentine, 34, of 114 Sunset Drive, Marietta, was trying to run an individual off the roadway. Deputies encountered the vehicles and traffic stops were conducted. Thomas Valentine spoke with deputies and had an odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person. A series of field sobriety tests were administered to Valentine, which he did poorly on. Valentine was placed under arrest for OVI, driving under OVI suspension, and menacing and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On May 28, Dennis Coe, of 5846 Veto Road, Belpre, reported a Honda power washer valued at approximately $1500 was removed from his property.

The following subject was recently sentenced in Washington County Common Pleas Court.

* Robert Justin Wells, 34, of Beverly, failure to appear, receiving stolen property, breaking and entering, felonies, 12 months at Orient.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail on Tuesday:

* Stephen Patrick Anderson, 58, of 1611 Andrew Street, Parkersburg, for driving under suspension and no seat belt, both misdemeanors. Anderson was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 31 at 12:47 a.m.

* Wesley Lee Casto, 23, of 703 Silverglobe Road, Marietta, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Casto was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 31 at 9:35 a.m.

* Jessica Renea Cleveland, 30, Marietta, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Cleveland was arrested at Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 31 at 2:27 a.m.

* John Michael Dotson, 37, of 4213 18th Avenue, Parkersburg, on warrants for theft, probation violation and no seat belt, all misdemeanors. Dotson was arrested on Pike Street by Trooper Shirer of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 31 at 3:16 p.m.

* Christopher W. Toothman, 35, of 3945 Wood Street, Wheeling, on warrants for improper parking, failure to appear and driving with suspended license, all misdemeanors. Toothman turned himself in to Patrolman Blamble of the New Matamoras Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on May 31 at 3:19 p.m.

* William Joshua McCormick Twilley, 36, of Marietta, on a warrant for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Twilley was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Kirby of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 31 at 5:31 p.m.

* Jaylen Michael Richard, 18, of 1040 Gantsville Road, Little Hocking, for breaking and entering, a felony. Richard was arrested by Deputy McConnell of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on May 31 at 6:20 p.m.

* David Gene Flowers, 60, of 922 Greenhill Road, Marietta, on an OVI charge from Pleasants County, Flowers was arrested on Creston Court Lane by Patrolman Dennison of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on May 31 at 11:24 p.m.
