MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Jan. 28 and 29.

* On Jan. 26, Julia Porter, 49, 2288 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, reported that a verbal argument with her husband, Clint Odell Porter, 50, turned physical and threatening. Porter requested a temporary protection order be issued as well. Clint Porter was placed under arrest for domestic violence and aggravated menacing and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On Jan. 27, Deputy Sheriff Parks assisted a resident in regard to a phone call they received stating they were the individual’s relative and needed gift cards purchased to bail him out of jail. The individual did, in fact, purchase these gift cards and was told where to mail them to in the state of Michigan. The victim spoke with the relative later and was informed they were not in jail, at which time she realized she had in fact been victim to a scam. This case remains under investigation.

* Christian Jamison McCrea, 21, 6833 River Ridge Drive, Nashville, Tenn., (Marietta College address, 215 Fifth St.) was arrested for criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor. McCrea was arrested on Fourth Street by Officer Dailey of the Marietta College Campus Police and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 27.

* Joshua Keith Ross, 35, 45 Hickory Lane, New Matamoras, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Ross was arrested by Patrolman Blamble of the New Matamoras Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 27 at 2:42 p.m.

* David William Hart, 35, 2236 Ohio 83 North, Beverly, was arrested on a warrant for nonsupport of dependents. Hart was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Sams of the Beverly Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 27 at 3:18 p.m.

* Abraham James Cejka, 31, 111 W. Montgomery St., Lot 32, Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Cejka was arrested at the Marietta City Police Department by Patrolman Warden and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 27 at 6:24 p.m.

* Daniel Charles Cohen, 26, 18 Powder Horn Way, Tarrytown, N.Y., was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence suspension, a misdemeanor. Cohen was arrested on Ohio 7 by Trooper Seabolt of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 28 at 12:49 a.m.

* Barbara Ann Perrine, 55, 610 Halcyln Ave., McConnelsville, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to obey a traffic control device, both misdemeanors. Perrine was arrested on Front Street, Marietta, by Trooper Coffland of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 28 at 2:34 a.m.

The following warrants were received by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:

* Kirk A. Mason, 701 31st St., Parkersburg, for failure to appear for a court hearing.

* Chadwick Lynn Smearman, 570 Albright Road, Beverly, for failure to appear for a court hearing.

* On Jan. 27, deputies responded to Marietta Memorial Hospital Belpre Campus in reference to an incident on a school bus where a 14 year old student was possibly assaulted. This case remains under investigation at this time.

* On Jan. 27, Barbara Torkelson, 9712 Veto Road, Belpre, reported her neighbor’s dog tore up her trash, scattering it across the property. Sgt. McGilton contacted Keri Ann Lafatch, 37, 9516 Veto Road, Belpre, at which time she admitted to letting the dog out of the home unleashed. Lafatch will be cited for failure to restrain her animal.

* On Jan. 28, deputies responded to the scene of a deceased individual in the Belpre area. No foul play is suspected.

* Shannon Scott Hines, 27, Vincent, was arrested on warrants for breaking and entering, theft, both felonies, violation of protection order, two counts theft and obstructing official business, misdemeanors. Hines turned himself in at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 28 at 3:33 p.m.

* Larry Gale Thompson Jr., 33, 120 Harmar St., Marietta, was arrested for disorderly conduct, intoxication, a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 28 at 11:56 p.m.

* Brittany Maria Martin, 30, 1549 North John Young Parkway, Kissimmee, Fla., was sentenced to 11 months for fifth degree felony trafficking in drugs; 11 months for fifth degree forgery; four years for three counts of second degree possession of heroin; and 34 months for breach of recognizance; with all sentences to run concurrently.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Jan. 27.

* On Jan. 22, Mary Haislep, 45, 263 Linton Road, Coolville, reported that she received a call from her residence that two male subjects forced their way into the home and removed items. Items listed as stolen were a Samsung tablet computer and a .45-caliber pistol. The investigation revealed that Brian Scott Moore, 40, last known address of 879 Davisville Road, Davisville, was the individual allegedly involved in this burglary. Charges for a second-degree felony of burglary were filed on Brian S. Moore.

* On Jan. 26, Deputy J. Hall received a warrant from the Ohio State Highway Patrol for Shelly L. Lahai, 1435 Browns Road, Marietta, on a charge of failure to appear, original charge driving under suspension. She was also arrested for failure to reinstate an operator’s license. Deputy Hall met with Lahai and placed her under arrest and transported her to the Washington County Jail at 1:14 p.m.

* On Jan. 26, Deputy J. Hall received a warrant from the Ohio State Highway Patrol for John Donald Hasley, 105 Melody Lane, Marietta, on a charge of failure to appear, original charge driving under suspension-failure to control. Deputy Hall located Hasley and placed him under arrest and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

* On Jan. 26, Debora Johnson, 57, 830 Rocky Point Road, Fleming, reported that she was missing various gift cards from her residence. This case remains under investigation.

* John William Dearing, 36, 717 Greene St., Marietta, was arrested for a parole violation, a felony. Dearing was arrested at the Adult Parole Authority by Deputy Moyers of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 26 at 2:20 p.m.

* John Donald Hasley, 54, 105 Melody Lane, Marietta, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under suspension and failure to control, all misdemeanors. Hasley was arrested at Go Mart by Deputy J. Hall of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 26 at 2:54 p.m.

* Warren Stephen Lee Tucker, 34, 809 Front St., Marietta, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, civil. Tucker was arrested at the Washington County Courthouse by Deputy Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 26 at 3:18 p.m.

* David Leland Siders, Sr., 57, 1700 Benedict Road, Fleming, was arrested for drug possession, two counts, and drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Siders was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 26 at 8:12 p.m.

* Clint Odell Porter, 50, 2288 Sealey Ridge Road, Vincent, was arrested for domestic violence and aggravated menacing, both misdemeanors. Porter was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 26 at 11:13 p.m.

* Michael Benjamin Brown, 23, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamstown, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, drug possession and left of center, all misdemeanors. Brown was arrested in Marietta by Trooper Coffland of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 27 at 3:26 a.m.

* Sean Michael Yoho, 40, Marietta, was sentenced to seven years and nine months in prison for second degree felony illegal assembly or possession chemical for manufacturing of drugs and first degree felony drug possession.

* Raycene Mullet, 34, 26790 Township Road 180, Fresno, Ohio, was sentenced to 30 days for fourth degree felony possession of drugs.

* Dustin Ray Riley, 30, 833 Second St., Marietta, was sentenced to 33 days in jail for failure to appear.

* Warren Stephen Lee Tucker, 34, 809 Front St., Marietta, was sentenced to 10 days for contempt on child support.

Warrants were issued for the following individuals and reasons:

* Brian Scott Moore, last known address 1308 Williamson Ave. Apt. 7B, New Matamoras, for a third degree felony of burglary.

* Teresa G. Baumgartner, 604 Williams Ave., Russell, Ky., for driving under suspension and unsafe vehicle, from a citation issued by New Matamoras Police Department.

* Codi A. Norman, 1903 15th Ave., Parkersburg, for failing to appear at the Washington County Jail to begin serving two days in jail as ordered by the court. Norman was originally charged with obstructing official business by the Marietta City Police Department.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Jan. 25.

* On Jan. 19, deputies investigated a possible telephone harassment in the Belpre area. Through investigation, it was determined this case would be unfounded.

* On Jan. 20, Coy Goff, 2805 Birch St., Parkersburg, phoned the sheriff’s office requesting to turn himself in on warrant charges that were outstanding. Goff was subsequently arrested in Belpre and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On Jan. 20, Sgt. Reeder issued a traffic citation to Benjamin L. Zartman, 117 Indiana Ave., Marietta, for failure to reinstate a license.

* On Jan. 20, Michelle Thompson and Jason E. Wolfe, 43, 122 Tennis Center Drive, Marietta, reported that Wolfe was assaulted. They also advised that numerous medications and a laptop were removed from their apartment. Investigation showed the laptop had been sold and was later recovered by deputies. This case remains under investigation.

* On Jan. 21, a Dunham Township resident reported a check had been forged and cashed for over $200. Through investigation, it was learned the check was cashed by someone who agreed to pay back the money. The case is closed as the victim refused to prosecute.

* On Jan. 21, Sgt. Reeder issued a traffic citation to Edward A. Kayser, 245 Long Run Road, Newport, for speed, 54 mph in a 45 mph zone.

* On Jan. 21, a Marietta Township resident reported receiving a phone call from a company wanting to collect payment on a credit card from Peebles. The resident stated she did not have a Peebles account and this was a fraudulent account created by unknown persons. It was learned that the items charged were magazines that were free for a short period of time and subsequently were charged on the account after that time period and the individual was unaware of this procedure. This case will be marked closed.

* On Jan. 22, Deputy Sheriff Huffer investigated a traffic crash along Ohio 550, Marietta Township. Taylor M. Dennis, 1089 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, lost control on the snow-covered road, striking the ditch. Dennis’ vehicle, a 2008 Pontiac, sustained minor damage.

* On Jan. 25, deputies responded to the 12000 block of Ohio 7, Dunham Township, to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Little Hocking Volunteer Emergency Squad with an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a vehicle. The case was handled by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

* Justin Lee Rexroad, 32, 122 Tennis Center Drive, Apt. 19, Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a felony, and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Rexroad was arrested near Tennis Center Drive by Deputy Sheriff McConnell of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 22 at 4:07 a.m. A charge of probation violation, a misdemeanor, was added by Probation Officer Waite of the Marietta City Probation Department.

* Bobby Christopher Bryant, 30, 112 Oak Grove Lane, Marietta, was arrested for drug possession, a felony, and drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Bryant was arrested on Seventh Street by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 22 at 1:24 p.m.

* Tamara Kay McEowen, 50, 10057 Fresh Lake Drive, Etna, was arrested for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. McEowen was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Whittington of the Belpre City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 22 at 9:59 p.m.

* Kayla Shyanne Carpenter, 21, 209 Virginia St., Marietta, was arrested for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested at 101 Gilman Ave. by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 22 at 11:40 p.m.

* Matthew Daniel Whitstine, 24, 304 Maple St., Marietta, was arrested for theft, a misdemeanor. Whitstine was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 23 at 9:29 p.m.

* Rashanique Alexus Lowe, 20, 1008 Main St., Aliquippa, Pa., was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, OVI more than .08 less than .17, underage consumption of alcohol, and failure to signal, all misdemeanors. Lowe was arrested on Butler Street by Patrolman Knowlton of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 24 at 3:19 a.m.

* Jason Samuel Lucas, 36, 303 1/2 Morgan Ave., St. Marys, W.Va., for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Lucas was arrested by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 24 at 12:02 a.m.

The following warrants were received at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office

* Gregory Hardman, 160 Richwood Count, Belpre, for failure to appear for a court hearing in Washington County Juvenile Court.

* Warren Stephan Lee Tucker, 715 Barclay St., Lot 33, Belpre, for failure to appear for a court hearing in reference to child support.

* Seth Everett Lawrence, 222 Sheldon Ave., Apt. 1, Marietta, for failure to appear for a court hearing.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Jan. 22:

* On Jan. 20, a deputy received information that inmate Audrey Marsha Lance, 26, 2196 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, was making threats toward a corrections officer and their family. Charges for intimidation, a felony in the fourth degree, were filed.

* On Jan. 21, assistance was given to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Charleston, W.Va., regarding follow-up in the Washington County area of a possible stolen vehicle.

* On Jan. 22, deputies responded to 122 Tennis Center Drive in reference a domestic violence dispute. Audrey Jane Rexroad, 33, 122 Tennis Center Drive, Marietta, reported her husband, Justin L. Rexroad, had left the home at one point during the day and when he returned he had been drinking and became physical with her. Ms. Rexroad called 911 for assistance and Mr. Rexroad left the apartment. Deputies located Justin Rexroad in the parking lot of the complex where he was stumbling around and eventually fell to the ground. He was taken into custody and charged with felony domestic violence and disorderly conduct. He was transported to the Washington County Jail.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 16:

* Logan Alexander Smith, 22, 585 Pugh Road, Stockport, for disorderly conduct intoxication, a misdemeanor. Smith was arrested in Marietta by the Marietta Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 21 at 2:36 a.m.

* Lindsey Marie Lucas, 31, 108 Colonial Square, Apt. A, Belpre, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Lucas was arrested at Marietta Municipal Court by the Marietta City Probation Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 21 at 9:39 a.m.

* Denver Shannon Bird, 40, 191 Woodland Ave., Marietta, on a warrant for failure to reinstate operator’s license, a misdemeanor. Bird was arrested at the Washington County Jail by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 21 at 10:08 a.m.

* Jesse Scott Books, 33, 736 Greene St., Marietta, for disorderly conduct, cease and desist, a misdemeanor. Books was arrested on Front Street by the Marietta Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 21 at 11:12 a.m.

* Justin Daniel Deems, 35, 113 Clark St., Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Deems was arrested at his residence by the Marietta Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 21 at 12:52 p.m.

* Christopher Robert Karcher, 36, 1685 State Route 821, Macksburg, for drug instrument possession, a misdemeanor. Karcher was arrested on Third Street by the Marietta Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 21 at 11:10 p.m.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Jan. 21.

* On Jan. 20, Deputy Hunter and the Lowell-Adams Volunteer Fire Department responded to the Tracy Lang residence at 1275 Lang Ridge Road, Lowell. Upon Deputy Hunter arriving, the fire department had extinguished the fire to the 2003 Buick. The vehicle is considered a total loss; no foul play suspected.

* On Jan. 20, deputies responded to the scene of a deceased individual in Liberty Township. No foul play is suspected.

* On Jan. 20, deputies began an investigation into a possible theft of wire from Duke Energy, Beverly. This case remains under investigation.

* On Jan. 20, deputies responded to the Cutler area in reference to a possible domestic situation. Upon speaking with all parties involved it was determined that no acts of domestic violence occurred. Case closed.

* A warrant was issued for Brett Edwards Sumner, 165 Cornerstone Drive, Marietta, for failure to appear for a court hearing in Washington County Juvenile Court.

* A warrant was issued for David William Hart, 2236 Ohio 83, Beverly, for failure to appear for a court hearing in Washington County Juvenile Court.

* A warrant was issued for Dustin Riley, 833 Second St., Lot 2, Marietta, for failure to appear for a court hearing in Washington County Juvenile Court.

* Bradley Joseph Kelly, 24, 10 Diamond Drive, Davisville, W.Va., was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence, left of center, and OVI .17, all misdemeanors. Kelly was arrested on Front Street, Marietta by Trooper Coffland of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 20 at 2:37 am.

* Tommy Joe Bishop, 52, 2401 Norris Ave., Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Bishop was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Nichols of the Belpre City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 20 at 12:24 p.m.

* Coy Wade Goff, 24, 8321 Brandonville Pike, Albright, W.Va., was arrested on warrants for failure to appear and assault, both misdemeanors. Goff was arrested in Belpre by Lt. Stackpole of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 20 at 6:51 p.m.

* Roy Gene Delancey, 924 East Main St., Columbus, was sentenced to 25 days in jail for nonsupport of dependents.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA – Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Jan. 20.

* On Jan. 15, Deputy Sheriff J. Hall responded to the Aldeco Motel in reference to Hillary Ann Berentz being at that location and having an active warrant for her arrest. Berentz was taken into custody for a license forfeiture warrant and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On Jan. 17, deputies responded to 1207 Williamson Ave., New Matamoras, in reference to a domestic violence incident. Amber Caldwell, 34, reported that she lives at this location with her boyfriend, Jason Scott Slonaker, 36. Caldwell stated that she was in an altercation with Slonaker and upon waking up this date he began to physically assault her. Caldwell stated she did fear for her safety and requested a protection order. Slonaker was interviewed and subsequently arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

* On Jan. 18, deputies and the Barlow Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to 12590 Ohio 550, Fleming, to the Daniel T. Reese III residence where his 1985 Corvette was on fire. The fire was extinguished and does not appear to be suspicious.

* On Jan. 19, deputies responded to Franklin Drive, Little Hocking to conduct an accident investigation. Gabriel R. Richmond, 715 Barclay St., Belpre, was westbound on Franklin Drive when his vehicle malfunctioned causing him to lose control at which time he sideswiped Matthew W. Gearhart, 1008 Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, and then struck Larry D. Hapney, 57 Franklin Drive, Little Hocking. Richmond’s vehicle sustained functional damage; Gearhart and Hapney’s vehicles had minor damage.

* On Jan. 19, deputies responded to the Little Hocking area in reference to a reported burglary at a home on School House Road. Deputies learned from talking to the homeowners that a Ruger revolver, electronics and cash and miscellaneous items were taken from the home. The cash removed was a substantial amount of quarters, silver dollars, and fifty cent pieces. If anyone has any information in reference to this burglary contact Deputy Sheriff McPeek at 740-376-7070, ext. 0.

The following warrants were received at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:

* Denver Shannon Bird, 191 Woodland Ave., Marietta, for failure to appear for a sentencing and restitution hearing; original charge DUS (failure to reinstate license).

* Ricky David Terrell, 836 Pike St., Apt. 21, Marietta, for failure to appear at the Washington County Jail to begin serving 20 days in jail as ordered by the court; original charge theft and a second warrant for failure to appear at the Washington County Jail to begin serving 20 days in jail as ordered by the court; original charge trespassing.

* Steven Ronald Phillip, 3549 Ragoon Driver, Westerville, for driving under suspension, turn signal violation and no seat belt.

* Eric C. Edgar, 732 Second St., Marietta, for failure to appear for court on the original charge of driving under suspension.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Sunday and Tuesday:

* Matthew Allen Owens, 40, 1034 Gard Hill Road, Waverly, W.Va., for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Owens was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Venham of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Terri Lynn Shields, 44, 2412 Covert St., Apt. 16, Parkersburg, for OVI and headlight violation, both misdemeanors. Shields was arrested near Greene and Seventh streets by Trooper Knowlton of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Ronald Lewis Morehouse, 32, 1515 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, for three counts of assault on a peace officer, all felonies. Morehouse was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Venham of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Andrew Crum Callen, 23, P.O. Box 297, Fort Deposit, Ala., for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Callen was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Venham of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* William Perry Elschlager, 46, for menacing by stalking and abduction, both felonies. Elschlager was arrested in Marietta by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Jason Scott Slonaker, 36, 1207 Williamson Ave., New Matamoras, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Slonaker was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Aaron Matthew Brown, 34, 101 Randolph Road, Marietta, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Brown was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier, Marietta City Probation Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Jason Michael Wolfe, 30, Belpre, for obstructing official business and drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Wolfe was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Whittington of the Belpre City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Seana Rae Haught, 27, 1000 Orchard St., Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Haught was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Michael Shane Truax, 18, 1585 Elizabeth St., Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Truax was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Whittington of the Belpre City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Christian Jamison McCrea, 21, 6833 River Ridge Drive, Nashville, Tenn. (currently Marietta College), for probation violation, a misdemeanor. McCrea was arrested at the Marietta City Probation Department by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Alison Blake Hinton, 29, 607 Center St., Beverly, for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Hinton was arrested at the Marietta City Probation Department by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Erika Renea Kohl, 35, 3301 Glen Highway Lot 36, Cambridge, on a warrant for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Kohl was served the warrant at the Washington County Jail and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Jan. 15:

* On Jan. 14, the Little Hocking Volunteer Emergency Squad along with deputies responded to the Little Hocking area to assist an individual who had taken some type of unknown medication. The case remains under investigation at this time.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Thursday and Friday:

* Tricia Ann Martin, 31, 708 Front St., Marietta, on a warrant for contempt of court order, a misdemeanor. Martin was arrested in Marietta by the Marietta Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 14 at 12:59 p.m.

* Kelly Nadine Lambert, 23, 1071 Terrance Court, Zanesville, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Lambert was arrested in Marietta by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 14 at 1:34 p.m.

* Shaun Michael Mentzer, 34, 815 Weirton St., Belpre, for drug possession, a felony. Mentzer was arrested in Marietta by the Marietta Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 14 at 2:11 p.m.

* Shoshawna Marie Lowers, 30, 970 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, for drug possession. Lowers was arrested in Marietta by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 14 at 3:58 p.m.

* Zachary Kyle Blum, 26, 497 Grove St., Zanesville, for drug possession, a felony. Blum was arrested in Marietta by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 14 at 5:14 p.m.

* Adrian Nicholas Mayle, 21, 4725 N. State Rt 609 NW, McConnelsville, for drug possession, a felony. Mayle was arrested in Marietta by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 14 at 5:04 p.m.

* Amy Leigh Davis, 30, 611 Elm St., Belpre, for drug instrument possession, breach of recognizance and contempt of court order, all misdemeanors. Davis was arrested at her residence by the Belpre Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 15 at 1:26 a.m.

* Danny Eugene Thomas II, 36, 111 W. Montgomery St., Marietta, for menacing, a misdemeanor. Thomas was arrested by the Marietta Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 15 at 4:04 a.m.

The following suspects were recently sentenced in Washington County Common Pleas Court:

* Shawn Benjamin Haga, 34, 512 Aurora St., Apt. A, Marietta, a fourth degree felony, assault on a peace officer; 29 days jail.

* Deja Deshay Robinson, 20, 30870 Stone Ridge Drive, Apt. 730, Wixom, Mich., third degree felony, aggravated possession of drugs; 120 days.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Jan. 14:

* On Jan. 12, Pamela Gereshenski, 47, of 366 Arends Ridge Road, Marietta, requested to see an officer due to a domestic incident. Gereshenski stated she and her husband, Michael Page, 48, of 496 N. Riverview Road, Malta, were both intoxicated and had been fighting, at which time Page assaulted her. Deputies asked the Beverly Police Department to patrol for Page, who was located a short time later by Beverly Police Chief Mark Sams and arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and domestic violence.

* On Jan. 13, Brian K. Brum, 52, of 1372 Pine Ridge Road, Fleming, reported two individuals were in his building. During the investigation, it was determined the subjects had permission to be there.

* On Jan. 13, deputies recovered a purse off of Braun Road in Dunham Township. This case remains under investigation.

* On Jan. 13, it was reported that a client of Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities had medication stolen by a subject known to the client.

* On Jan. 13, deputies responded to the Waterford area in regard to a possible domestic incident. Upon meeting with some of the individuals, it was determined there was not enough evidence to warrant domestic violence charges in this case. The other party to the incident could not be located.

* On Jan. 13, deputies responded to the Belpre Township area in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. All subjects were interviewed, and it was found that there were not threats of violence and neither subject was in fear of their safety.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Jan. 13 and 14:

* Mark Aaron McIntyre, 34, of 223 Broughton Ave., Marietta, for tampering with evidence, a felony. McIntyre was arrested in the Washington County Courthouse by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department.

* Matthew Lester Jones, 31, of 502 Warren St., Marietta, for burglary and drug possession, both felonies, and drug instrument possession, a misdemeanor. Jones was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department.

The following suspects were recently sentenced in Washington County Common Pleas Court:

* Jeffrey Shane Wittekind, 27, of 316 Gilman Ave., Marietta, was sentenced to 95 days in jail on fourth-degree felony counts of trafficking in drugs and breach of recognizance.

* Thomas William Gaughan, 29, of 120 Sanjubar Drive, Marietta, was sentenced to 12 months in prison on fifth-degree felony counts of breaking and entering and theft.

* Frederick Gale McKitrick, 33, of 7446 Federal Road, Cutler, was sentenced to 58 days in jail, with 30 suspended, for contempt.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

* Eric C. Edgar, 732 Second St., Marietta, for failure to appear for final pre-trial.

* Danny J. Southers, 18553 County Road 9, New Matamoras, for failure to appear at a court hearing.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Jan. 13:

* On Jan. 12, Alexis Irene Blake, 20, 885 Brush Road, Marietta, was traveling south on Ohio 7 when she struck the concrete barrier separating the roadway. Minor damage was done to her 2005 Jeep.

* On Jan. 12, Deputy Sheriff McKee was patrolling in the Muskingum Township area when he stopped Steven R. Phillip, 3549 Ragoon Drive, Westerville, Ohio, for failure to use a turn signal. Upon checking Phillip’s driving record, it was found he was under suspension. He was cited for failure to use a turn signal, no seatbelt, and driver license suspension.

* On Jan. 13, Deputy Schwendeman arrested and charged Kenneth Lorenzo Roundtree, 24, 2524 Breanna Place, Reynoldsburg, for illegal conveyance into a detention facility, after two baggies containing a substance were located upon Roundtree being processed into the Washington County Jail.

* On Jan. 13, it was reported that a residence at 817 Masonic Park Road, Lot 9, Marietta, had been entered and numerous items removed.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Jan. 12-13.

* Jason Randall Wentz, 39, 5216 Veto Road, Vincent, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Wentz was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Metts of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 12 at 12:13 a.m..

* Cory Everett Meeks, 30, 124 Tennis Center Drive, Apt. 1C, Marietta, on warrants for breach of recognizance and domestic violence, both misdemeanors. Meeks was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff J. Hall of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 12 at 11:35 a.m.

* Thomas William Gaughan, 29, 120 Sanjubar Drive, Marietta, on a warrant indictment for breaking and entering and theft, both felonies. Gaughan was picked up at Pickaway Correctional Center by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 12 at 3:16 p.m.

* Anthony DeWayne Mack, 34, 2152 Haviland Drive, Hilliard, on a warrant for having weapons while under disability, drug possession and drug trafficking, all felonies. Mack was arrested at the Washington County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Schwendeman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 12, 8:24 p.m.

* Joseph Lee Camden Jr., 56, homeless, for violation of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Camden was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Smith of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 12 at 9:24 p.m.

* Michael Brian Page, 48, 496 N. Riverview Road, Malta, for OVI and domestic violence, both misdemeanors. Page was arrested in Beverly by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 12 at 9:53 a.m.

* Kenneth Lorenzo Roundtree, 24, 2524 Breanna Place, Reynoldsburg, for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor, and drug possession, a felony. Roundtree was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 13 at 3:12 a.m. Roundtree was further arrested for a felony charge of illegal conveyance into a detention facility, by Deputy Sheriff Schwendeman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

* Joseph Hai Bui, 37, 817 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, for drug possession, a felony. Bui was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 13 at 3:51 a.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Jan. 8.

* On Jan. 7, a private property crash report was taken at C & C Toyota, 1305 Pike St., Marietta. Ryan P. Terrell, 24, 716 Bird St., Parkersburg, was looking at vehicles and his personal vehicle rolled into a vehicle on the lot. Moderate damage was done to the 2014 Dodge vehicle.

* On Jan. 7, the Lowell-Adams Volunteer Fire Department, Beverly-Waterford Volunteer Fire Department and Devola Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a mobile home fire at the Travis Ours residence, 8345 Ohio 60, Lowell. The fire appears to be accidental in nature and no foul play is suspected.

* On Jan. 7, deputies responded to the scene of a deceased subject in the Little Hocking area. No foul play is suspected.

* On Jan. 7, Sgt. Mankins arrested Christopher G. Caldwell, 23, 15876 Ohio 550, Fleming, after Danielle Flesher, 22, reported a disturbance at the residence. Caldwell was yelling at the occupants of the home, as well as causing an item to fall from the wall, which then struck Flesher. A juvenile, who was visiting, was also assaulted by Caldwell. Caldwell was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was charged with domestic violence and assault.

* Christopher G. Caldwell, 23, 15876 Ohio 550, Fleming, was arrested for domestic violence and assault, both misdemeanors. Caldwell was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 7 at 9:49 a.m.

* William Joseph Witten, 48, 1 Camelot Drive, Apt. 36, Parkersburg, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to reinstate a driver’s license and speed, all misdemeanors. Witten was arrested on Ohio 26 by Trooper Knowlton of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 8 at 1:39 a.m.

* Jenna Danielle Radabaugh, homeless, was arrested for tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property, both felonies. Radabaugh was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Smith of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 8 at 7:23 a.m.

* Brandon J. Murphy, 38, 109 Sixth St., Beverly, was arrested on three misdemeanor warrants for fictitious plates, FRA suspension and failure to register. Murphy was arrested at Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 8 at 1:57 p.m.

The following warrants were issued to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:

* Sheldon D. Hill, 11827 Ohio 555, Cutler, for failure to appear.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Jan. 7.

* On Jan. 4, deputies responded to the Little Hocking area for an alleged domestic violence incident. Deputies spoke with all parties and determined that there were no threats of violence.

* On Jan. 6, deputies assisted the employees of a rehabilitation center with a resident who was causing a disturbance.

* On Jan. 6, Brandon L. Myers, 21, 2452 Ohio 260, New Matamoras, reported items missing from his residence. Those items include a TV; Xbox One; Xbox games; and a car amplifier. The total value of property stolen is $2,000.

* David Aaron Hansen, 38, 832 Ridge St., Marietta, was arrested for a probation violation, a misdemeanor. Hansen was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 6 at 2:25 p.m.

* Jacob Matthew Shaffer, 28, homeless, was arrested for a probation violation, a misdemeanor. Shaffer was arrested at the Marietta City Probation Department by Probation Officer E. Brockmeier and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 6 at 5:43 p.m.

* Ashlee Dawn Martin, 25, 100 Clark St., Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Martin was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Smith of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 7 at 2 a.m.

* Christopher Ian Streeter, 24, 11001 S. Baskin Court, Port Ritchey, Fla., was sentenced to 30 months for a third-degree felony charge of robbery.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Jan. 6.

* On Jan. 4, Steve Neal, 41, 405 Warrior Drive, Vincent, reported the theft of medication from his home.

* On Jan. 4, a Belpre resident reported an additional account opened under their name with AEP.

* On Jan. 4, Deputy Sheriff Allender filed charges of disorderly conduct through Marietta Municipal Court on Rodney A. Thomas, 52, 2955 Newells Run Road, Newport. Thomas arrived at a residence of individuals known to him, intoxicated, yelling and screaming and would not leave, at which time they notified the sheriff’s office.

* On Jan. 5, deputies were dispatched to the Little Hocking area on a report of a subject reportedly ingesting numerous medications. The Little Hocking Volunteer Emergency Squad was on scene to render aid. This case is closed.

* James Michael Ashwell, 25, 2 Buckeye Lane, Belpre, was arrested for probation violation, a felony. Ashwell was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail in West Virginia by Deputy Sheriff Malone and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 5 at 12:56 p.m.

* Diane Nicole Miracle, 27, 1000 Kemper St., Parkersburg, was arrested on warrants for failure to appear and no operator’s license, both misdemeanors. Miracle was arrested at the Washington County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Moyers of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 5 at 2:18 p.m.

* William Joseph Mitchell, 31, 884 Greenhill Road, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a felony. Mitchell was arrested at the Washington County Courthouse by Deputy Sheriff Malone of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 5 at 4:30 p.m.

* Brittni Cheyenne Messick, 22, 460 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a misdemeanor. Messick was arrested at Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer E. Brockmeier of the Marietta City Probation Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 5 at 5:33 p.m.

* Dennis Riley, 58, 620 Front St., Marietta, was arrested for sexual battery, a felony. Riley was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 5 at 7:33 p.m.

* Christopher Ian Streeter, 24, 11001 Baskin Court, Port Ritchey, Fla., was arrested for theft, a misdemeanor. Streeter was arrested at Go Mart by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 5 at 11:01 p.m.

* Cassaundra Leigh Nichols, 26, 2210 Ames Ave., Belpre, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, marked lanes, resisting arrest and reckless operation, all misdemeanors. Nichols was arrested on Ohio 7, Marietta, by Trooper Coffland of the Ohio State Highway Patrol and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 6 at 2:37 a.m.

* Jason Eugene Wolfe, 43, 122 Tennis Center Drive, Marietta, was arrested on a warrant for theft, a misdemeanor. Wolfe was arrested by Deputy Sheriff Hunter of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 6 at 6:30 a.m.

* Eric John Adkins, 40, 11535 Ohio 821, Lower Salem, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and parking in a handicap parking zone, both misdemeanors. Adkins was arrested at the Marietta Memorial Hospital by Patrolman Hanson of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Jan. 6 at 9:03 a.m.

* Steven Jeffery McGee, 43, 116 Grove St., Marietta, was sentenced to 90 days for felony probation violation.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Dec. 31.

* On Dec. 30, a Belpre resident reported that for the second time in two weeks they had received a call from an unknown male reporting that they had won $1.5 million. The caller advised the resident that they only had to send $499 in order to retain these winnings. The resident advised that they were not interested and hung up the phone. The resident called local law enforcement and also called the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to make this report at which time they were told that these were criminals calling and that it was a scam. The sheriff advises all residents to be aware of this scam and should you receive any calls or correspondence feel free to contact your local law enforcement agency in reference to the legitimacy of the information.

* On Dec. 29, John C. Baker, 43, 98 Emory Lane, Little Hocking, reported that he was missing a pistol, valued at $900. This case remains under investigation.

* On Dec. 30, deputies responded to the Vincent area in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. Upon investigating the alleged violence, it was revealed that no violence had occurred. This case is closed as unfounded.

* On Dec. 30, deputies assisted the Marietta City Police Department in the search for a vehicle involved in a criminal offense. Case closed.

* On Dec. 30, deputies responded to the Cutler Station to meet with Abra L. Brown, 36, 70 Hanover Road, Cutler, who alleged that her boyfriend, Damon C. Brubaker, 42, had physically assaulted her as well as threatening more physical harm to her. Brown did request a temporary protection order as she was in fear for her safety and that of her child. Statements were obtained at which time Brubaker was located at the residence and placed under arrest for domestic violence.

* On Dec. 30, deputies were dispatched to the Par Mar at 3355 Ohio 821, Marietta, in regards to counterfeit bills that were passed at the establishment. This case remains under investigation.

* On Dec. 30, deputies were dispatched to Muskingum Township in reference to an unruly child. Parents advised the child to be unruly, disrespectful, as well as physical towards them. The juvenile left the residence walking before officers arrived at the scene. Deputies will be requesting a summons be issued through Washington County Juvenile Court for unruly.

* Brandon Michael Looney, 20, 106 King Ave., Marietta, was arrested for driving under suspension, a misdemeanor. Looney was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Dec. 30 at 10:27 a.m.

* Damon Christopher Brubaker, 42, 70 Hanover Lane, Cutler, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Brubaker was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Hunter of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Dec. 30 at 11:06 a.m.

* Clayton Loren Books, 36, 119 Sunset Lane, Marietta, was arrested for probation violation, a felony. Books was arrested at the Adult Parole Authority office by Deputy Sheriff Gerber of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Dec. 30 at 2:05 p.m.

* Ian Andrew Cicciarelli, 22, 130 2nd St., Lower Salem, was arrested for drug possession, a misdemeanor. Cicciarelli was arrested at Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Dec. 30 at 2:48 p.m.

* John Mark Anderson, 47, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for theft out of Jackson County Ohio, a felony. Anderson was arrested at the Marietta Memorial Hospital by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Dec. 30 at 8:55 p.m.

* Isaac Thomas Roush, 20, 601 Barclay St., Belpre, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Roush was arrested at the Belpre City Police Department by Patrolman Holiday and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Dec. 30 at 10:42 p.m.
