PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Aug. 27
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Michael Jay Bond, 33, of Central Avenue for speeding in Lubeck Elementary School zone, 20 in a 15 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Michael Joseph Wolfe, 31, of Virginia Street, Waverly for expired motor vehicle inspection.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Jacqueline Darlene Steele, 27, of Belmont, for speeding in Waverly School zone, 29 in a 15 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to William D. Shingleton, 49, of Henry Camp Road, Saint Marys, for speeding in Waverly School zone, 33 in a 15 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Jason M. Rowe, 34, of Ohio Boulevard, Marietta, for speeding, 79 in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Maggie Elisabeth Stewart, 22, of Fairmont Drive, Ripley, for speeding, 97 in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Ethan Allen Rogers, 76, of Arlington Expressway, Jacksonville, Fla., for speeding, 79 in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Samuel L. Thompson, 34, of Broad Street for no motor vehicle inspection.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Chelsea Ann Ashworth, 21, of Ravenswood Pike, Ripley, for speeding, 79 in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Wesley Ann Weeks, 22, of Canal Drive, Carolina Beach, N.C., for speeding, 79 in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Matthew James Settlemire, 39, of Rolling Hills Drive, Ringgold, Ga., for speeding, 79 in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Matthew Dana Hartness, 27, of Crescent Street, for driving on suspended license.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to the driver Brent James Harman, 38, of Meadville Road, Davisville, for driving on suspended license, and a citation was issued to the passenger and owner of the vehicle, Andrea May McCoy, 30, of Meadville Road, Davisville, for permitting no operator’s license.
* On Aug. 26, a citation was issued to Terry W. Conry, 63, of Columbia Avenue, Athens, Ohio, for speeding, 59 in a 50 mph zone.
* On Aug. 26, a deputy observed a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker pass. As the deputy turned around on the vehicle to attempt a traffic stop the vehicle disappeared from view. A check of the registration showed an NCIC hit as stolen from Parkersburg. The deputy located and stopped the vehicle in Skyview Pointe off of Gihon Road. The driver, Jeremy Grey Merrill, 34, of 14th Avenue, was arrested on charges of receiving or transferring stolen property. The passenger, Whitney Sue Nelson, 26, of 14th Avenue, was arrested on a warrant issued through Parkersburg Police Department for false pretense. Both were processed then taken before a magistrate where Merrill posted a $1,000 surety bond and Nelson posted a $500 surety bond.
* On Aug. 27, a citation was issued to Jeffrey Neel Smith, 34, of Broad Street, for driving on suspended license.

* On Aug. 25, a citation was issued to Kimberly F. Malone, 55, of Oak Grove Ext. Road, Saint Marys, for speeding, 40 in a 15 mph school zone.
* On Aug. 25, a citation was issued to Kylee Mae Williamson, 23, of Ross Road, Waverly, for speeding 24 in a 15 mph school zone.
* On Aug. 25, a citation was issued to Jonathon Luther Kidder, 34, of Virginia Street, Waverly, for speeding, 24 in a 15 mph school zone.
* On Aug. 25, a citation was issued to Kelsey Samantha Soprano, 22, of Kezena Ridge, Waverly, for speeding, 49 in a 35 mph zone.
* On Aug. 25, a citation was issued to Amy D. Thomas, 44, of 16th Street, for speeding, 49 in a 35 mph zone.
* On Aug. 25, a citation was issued to Brittanie Sayre, 18, of Marrtown Road, for no operator’s license.
* On Aug. 25, Kenneth William Nichols Jr., 50, of Barclay Street, turned himself in to the Wood County Sheriff Office for battery. He was processed at the holding center then arraigned before a magistrate.

PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Aug. 25:
* On Aug. 21, Michelle Rena West, 45, of Limestone Hill Road, Parkersburg, turned herself in at the Wood County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for embezzlement. West was processed at the holding center, arraigned before a magistrate and released on bond.
* On Aug. 21, a citation was issued to Stacy R. Robinson Jr., 27, of Sugar Run Road, Marietta, for improper registration and no insurance.
* On Aug. 21, a citation was issued to Lori Lynann Saxon, 37, of Latrobe Street, Parkersburg, for passing a school bus and no proof of insurance.
* On Aug. 21, a citation was issued to Doyal Michael Scarberry, 25, of Delta Place, Davisville, for no operator’s license.
* On Aug. 21, a citation was issued to Charles Ramon Wright, 52, of Walden Drive, Waverly, for passing school bus and no proof of insurance.
* On Aug. 21, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle after a deputy observed the vehicle to have no motor vehicle inspection sticker. Upon contact with the driver, the deputy detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. The deputy also noticed that the vehicle was littered with empty beer cans and an open, nearly full, can of beer was on the floor by the driver’s seat. Glen Leroy Freshour, 45, of Murray Street, Belpre, was taken into custody on charges of driving under the influence, driving under suspension, no proof of insurance and no motor vehicle inspection.
* On Aug. 21, a home confinement officer responded to Oak Lane in Mineral Wells in reference to a client cutting his home confinement bracelet off and fleeing the residence. Clinton Wesley Buffington, 38, of Oak Lane, had been ordered on home confinement on June 11. Buffington has been entered into NCIC as a wanted person.
* On Aug. 21, a citation was issued to a 17-year-old female of Lynn Street, Parkersburg, for violation of operator license provisions. Parents were contacted to pick up the driver and juvenile passengers.
* On Aug. 22, a citation was issued to Teresa Kaye Pierce, 34, of 14th Avenue, Parkersburg, for second-offense driving under suspension and no proof of insurance.
* On Aug. 22, a deputy responded to Elizabeth Pike in reference to a larceny from the residence that had already occurred. The complainant advised that someone entered the residence through an unlocked window and removed her 32-inch Emerson Television and a Playstation 2. The investigation is ongoing.
* On Aug. 22, a citation was issued to William Richard Stout, 64, of Spring Street, Parkersburg, for seat belt violation.
* On Aug. 22, a citation was issued to Michael Evan Thompson, 31, of Old River Road, Williamstown, for no operator’s license.
* On Aug. 22, a citation was issued to Jeffery Lynn Schmitt Jr., 33, of Mineral Wells, for driving under suspension and expired registration.
* On Aug. 22, a citation was issued to Michelle Ann Cobb, 28, of Kent Way, Pittsburgh, Pa., for speeding, 55 mph in a 35 mph zone, and following too closely.
* On Aug. 22, a deputy observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Staunton Turnpike with no motor vehicle inspection sticker. The driver was found to have a prescription bottle containing Alprazolam, without a label on it. James Michael Hendershot, 30, of Staunton Turnpike, Parkersburg, was taken into custody on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
* On Aug. 22, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle and upon contact with the driver he advised that he did not have insurance or registration on the vehicle. The deputy detected an odor of marijuana. The deputy located a plastic bag suspected of marijuana and a plastic bag with five white tablets under a shirt in the vehicle. Passenger Dustin Zachary Cunningham, 20, of Olive Street, Parkersburg, was taken into custody on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and on a warrant issued out of Ritchie County for DUI. Cunningham was processed and placed in the holding center. Driver Jeffery Tyler Lipscomb, 20, of Marie Lane, Parkersburg, was issued a citation for no insurance and no proof of registration.
* On Aug. 22, a citation was issued to David Eugene Eakle, 46, of Long Run Road, Pennsboro, for driving under suspension.
* On Aug. 23, a citation was issued to Larry David Johnson, 63, of East Oak Street, Poseyville, Ind., for speeding, 59 mph in a 50 mph construction zone.
* On Aug. 23, a citation was issued to a 17-year-old of Laurel Creek Road, Waverly, for left of center and no child restraint.
* On Aug. 23, a deputy responded to Walker Road in reference to a burglary and destruction of property report. The complainant advised he left the residence on Aug. 21. Upon returning later on in the evening he discovered his vehicle had been vandalized and items had been taken from the residence. The deputy observed the vehicle in the driveway to have every window damaged. A Yamaha Raptor 350 four wheeler had been taken from the shed. It appears the suspect entered through the kitchen window. Several items were taken from inside the residence, including a 60-inch television, a 32-inch television, an Xbox1, Playstation3, Xbox 360, controllers and approximately 70 games as well as cash. The investigation is ongoing.
* On Aug. 23, a citation was issued to Leander Jay Cline, 24, of Ridge Street, Belpre, for reckless driving.
* On Aug. 23, a citation was issued to Jessica Lynn Dellinger, 25, of Ryanwood Village, Parkersburg, for expired motor vehicle inspection.
* On Aug. 23, deputies responded to Lee Creek Road in Belleville in reference to a domestic disturbance. Bryan Keith Carmichael, 49, of Lee Creek Road, Belleville, was taken into custody on charges of domestic battery and domestic assault.
* On Aug. 24, a citation was issued to Homer D. Bigler, 68, of Burnett Road, Cutler, Ohio for speeding, 54 in a 45 mph zone.
* On Aug. 24, Frederick Corbitt Pence, 59, of 24th St. was arrested at the Wood County Magistrate Court on outstanding warrant for worthless check. Pence was taken before a magistrate and released on a $500 bond.
* On Aug. 24, a citation was issued to Stephen M. Tolley, 23, of Fairview Avenue, for driving on suspended.
* On Aug. 24, a citation was issued to David John West, 19, of Delcon Drive, Waverly, for driving on suspended and possession of marijuana.
* On Aug. 24, a citation was issued to Aaron D. Calebaugh, 21, of Seminary Street, Coolville, Ohio for speeding, 44 in a 35 mph zone.
* On Aug. 24, a traffic stop was conducted on East Seventh Street near Kroger after the driver ran a stop sign. A computer check of the driver revealed her license was suspended and an NCIC hit out of Tazewell County, Virginia. The NCIC want was for failure to appear for shoplifting. Holly Marie Goodson, 32, of Avery Place, was placed under arrest on charges of driving on suspended and fugitive from justice. Goodson was transported to the Wood County Holding Center for processing and placement pending arraignment.
* On Aug. 24, a citation was issued to Ivan E. Danku, 41, of County House Lane, Marietta, for driving on suspended.

PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Department released the following reports Aug. 24:
* On Aug. 19, a citation was issued to Brian Scott Hornbeck, 23, of Pike Street, Parkersburg, for driving under suspension. A licensed passenger drove the vehicle from the traffic stop.
* On Aug. 19, a citation was issued to Melissa Payne, 49, of Route, 1, Pennsboro, for speeding, 75 mph in a 65 mph zone.
* On Aug. 19, a citation was issued to Justin W. Farnsworth, 19, of Hillcrest Street, Parkersburg, for speeding, 81 mph in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 19, a citation was issued to William J. Hopper, 67, of Harbour Isle Drive, Fort Pierce, Fla., for speeding, 81 mph in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 19, a citation was issued to April D. Rayburn, 38, of Goody Branch Road, Chapmanville, W.Va., for speeding, 80 mph in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 19, after being unable to locate a sober party to release him to, deputies arrested Michael Lewis Sabo, 59, of Market Avenue, North Hartville, Ohio, for public intoxication. Sabo was transported to Camden Clark Medical Center for medical complainants and was issued a citation for public intoxication.
* On Aug. 19, a deputy responded to the Corral off West Virginia 95 in reference to subjects that would not leave. The deputy made contact with the two male subjects who were waiting for a taxi. Both men were advised to not return. Later, deputies received a second call from the Corral advising that one of the subjects was back. Gary Dean Lambert, 56, of Misty Morning Lane, Clinton, Miss., was taken into custody on a charge of trespassing. He was transported to the Holding Center for processing and then to CCMC for medical clearance prior to incarceration. Lambert was then transported back to the Holding Center to await arraignment.
* On Aug. 20, a citation was issued to Morgan Renee Carpenter, 19, of Fourth Street, Belpre, for a defective tail lamp.
* On Aug. 20, a deputy found a male in black clothing stumbling northbound on the sidewalk of Emerson Avenue almost falling into the roadway as the deputy passed. A citation was issued to Shawn Jason Sullivan, 32, of Emerson Avenue, Parkersburg, for public intoxication. A taxi came to the scene to take him home.

PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Aug. 20.
* On Aug. 17, a deputy responded to the Microtel Inn in Mineral Wells in reference to warrant service. Eddie Anthony Paul Diesel Carroll, 28, of Powers Court, North Augusta, S.C., was taken into custody on charges of defrauding an inn keeper. He was transported to the holding center for processing and placed pending arraignment before a magistrate.
* On Aug. 17, a deputy responded Marie Lane in reference to an illegal burn. Blennerhassett Volunteer Fire Department firemen noticed black smoke and tracked down the source. Firefighters found a fire with plywood and a tire at the location. A deputy spoke with Michael Smarr, the resident, who stated that he built the fire and put the plywood on it. Smarr said he went inside to give his child some medication. The fire was unattended at the time Smarr said someone put the tire on the fire. A citation was issued to Michael Lee Smarr, 36, of Marie Lane, Washington, W.Va., for open burning of refuse.
* On Aug. 17, a citation was issued to Jeremiah Charles Thompson, 20, of Right Hand Fork, Salyersville, Ky., for stop sign violation.
* On Aug. 17, a citation was issued to Zachary Wayne Lemley, 23, of Homewood Road, Washington, W.Va., for no motor vehicle inspection and no proof of insurance.
* On Aug. 17, a citation was issued to Robert Deo Jeffreys Jr., 35, of Harris Highway for no insurance.
* On Aug. 17, a citation was issued to Brad T. Strahler, 43, of McDonald Road, Waterford, for expired registration and seatbelt violation.
* On Aug. 17, a citation was issued to Ashley Lachea Spencer, 26, of Chateau Hills, for failure to obey stop sign and no insurance.
* On Aug. 18, a deputy responded to Harris Highway in reference to a stolen vehicle. The complainant advised the vehicle was parked in the garage, up on a jack. The complainant stated he left for work and didn’t notice the vehicle missing until Monday. The vehicle, described as a Pontiac Sunfire with the rear spoiler painted flat black, is valued at $2,500.
* On Aug. 18, a deputy responded to Staunton Turnpike in reference to a larceny. The complainant reported that sometime between Aug. 16 and Aug. 18, someone removed a washer and dryer from the backyard of the residence.
* On Aug. 18, a deputy responded to Camden Clark Medical Center in reference to a stabbing. Tialisa Allman reported that she was walking from her residence on Progress Ridge Road to her mother’s residence on Progress Ridge. When she walked around her mother’s truck an unknown male subject stabbed her in the abdomen, with an unknown object then fled the area. Allman stated that the man was wearing dark clothing and a toboggan. Allman told the deputy they found the tires on her mother’s truck had been cut.
* On Aug. 18, a citation was issued to Richard Alan Tucker, 37, of Sixth Street for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop.
* On Aug. 18, deputies responded to Harris Highway in reference to a two-vehicle accident. Neither driver appeared to have been injured. Vivian Sue Carmichael, 58, Fork Run Road, Ravenswood, advised a deer jumped into the roadway. Carmichael swerved to miss the deer, crossed the centerline, and struck the oncoming vehicle. Carmichael was cited for failure to maintain control and left of center.

* On Aug. 13, a citation was issued to Mickey Roger Smith, 44, of Electric Avenue, Belleville, for expired registration.
* On Aug. 13, a citation was issued to Stephanie A. Michael, 57, of Winding Road, for speeding, 60 in a 50 mph zone.
* On Aug. 13, a citation was issued to Kellsey Ann Fleak, 21, of Schultz Mill Road, for speeding, 62 in a 50 mph zone.
* On Aug. 13, a citation was issued to Sierra A. Gier, 28, of Glendale Road, Cairo, for speeding, 72 in a 50 mph zone.
* On Aug. 13, a citation was issued to Hiatt Taylor Wolfe, 36, of Stillwell Road, for speeding, 60 in a 50 mph zone.
* On Aug. 13, a citation was issued to Jeffrey S. Shaver, 57, of 25th Street for speeding, 62 in a 50 mph zone.
* On Aug. 13, a citation was issued to Justin R. Hewitt, 32, of Morgan Ridge, Walker, for speeding 62 in a 50 mph zone.
* On Aug. 13, deputies dispatched to a burglary that had just occurred in Belleville and, the homeowner was following the vehicle north on W.Va. 68. Deputies located and stopped the vehicle on East Street in Parkersburg. After speaking with the occupants, it was found to be a civil matter between the homeowner and the occupants of the vehicle. The homeowner was unable to produce a valid driver’s license and the deputy located a fully loaded, uncased Charter Arms .22 caliber revolver on the floor beside the driver seat. Thomas James Treadway, 40, of Electric Avenue, Belleville, was taken into custody on charges of driving on suspended and possession of loaded firearm.
* On Aug. 13, Chad Allen Wilkenson, 26, of Spring Valley Way, Elizabeth, was taken into custody on warrant for burglary, grand larceny and conspiracy issued out of Wirt County. Wilkenson was confined pending $20,000 surety bond or his appearance before Wirt County Circuit Judge.
* On Aug. 14, Shannon Rene Skidmore, 20, of Curtis Hollow Road, Reedsville, was taken into custody on warrants for credit card forgery and credit card fraud. Curtis was placed in the holding center for pending arraignment.
* On Aug. 14, a deputy responded to Scarce Fat Road in reference to a stolen vehicle. The complainant advised he moved the vehicle when he mowed and may have left the keys in it. He advised that the vehicle would have been taken after 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 13th. Deputies received a call from Marietta Police Department advising they recovered the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was released to the owner.
* On Aug. 14, Alex Lamar Sollberger, 29, of East 12th Street, was taken into custody on a warrant for malicious wounding. Sollberger was also served with two domestic violence protective orders. Sollberger was arraigned and confined pending $10,000 bond.
* On Aug. 14, a deputy responded to Simon Lane in reference to a burglary that had already occurred. The complainant advised two flat screen televisions had been taken from the residence. The investigation is ongoing.
* On Aug. 14, a citation was issued to Samuel Harold Simonds, 46, of Lynn Street, for no insurance.
* On Aug. 14, a citation was issued to David Webster Smith, 43, of 34th Street, Vienna, for expired motor vehicle inspection.
* On Aug. 14, a citation was issued to Desiree Jane Malone, 25, of Limestone Road, St. Marys, for cell phone use while driving.
* On Aug. 14, a citation was issued to Jamie A. Beatty, 22, of 41st Street, Vienna, for driving on suspended.
* On Aug. 15, a deputy responded to a breaking and entering of several storage units in a complex on Emerson Avenue near Bull Run Road, Waverly. The complainant had visited the storage units the day before and discovered two of the three units he rents had the locks cut off. He stated that a tool box and machinist tools were taken. No other units had been entered.
* On Aug. 15, deputies responded to Wadesville Road to a single vehicle crash with a possible intoxicated driver. Upon arrival, deputies observed a truck partially over the embankment. Deputies made contact with a man who appeared extremely unsteady on his feet and admitted being the driver of the vehicle. The man told deputies he had been run off the roadway by another vehicle. The man’s speech was slurred and he had the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. Empty and partially empty beer containers were found to be in the truck. David Lee Sargent, 56, of Wadesville Road, was transported to the holding center on charges of DUI third-offense and confined pending arraignment.
* On Aug. 15, a traffic stop was conducted after a deputy observed a vehicle with an expired registration. The vehicle made a wide turn into the Kroger parking lot on 7th Street, finally pulling into a parking spot, where the vehicle struck the curb. Upon contact with the driver, the deputy observed the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath his person and, was unsteady on his feet as he stepped away from the vehicle. Brian Joseph Barrett, 39, of 26th Street, was arrested on charges of DUI and no insurance. Barrett was placed in the holding center pending arraignment.
* On Aug. 15, a citation was issued to Ronald D. Flinn, 50, of Old Slate Road, Coolville, for cell phone use while driving.
* On Aug. 16, deputies responded to Whispering Pines Court in reference to a domestic disturbance. Deputies found Richard Edward Ogden II, 35, of Whispering Pines Court, in front of his residence in an intoxicated condition. During the investigation of the incident, Ogden shouted profanities at the deputies and other subjects on scene. He was advised several times to stop but, continued to use loud and profane language. Ogden was alleged to have grabbed a female by the neck and strike her. The allegations were supported by a witness to the incident. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the physical contact. Ogden was taken into custody on charges of domestic battery, disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Ogden was confined in the holding center pending arraignment.
* On Aug. 15, deputies were dispatched to the area of Belleville Dam in reference to gun shots. The complainant was waiting for deputies at the dam and directed to the area of Harris Highway where they heard the gun shots. Deputies located a parked vehicle and could hear screaming coming from the wooded area between the highway and the river. Deputies followed the sound to a camp site and found four subjects. Citations were issued to Christian Bradford Kidwell, 18, of Sandyville; David Christopher Williams, 19, of New England Ridge Road, Belleville; Dylan Michael Bock, 18, of Washington Heights Road; and Cody Everett Ball, 19, of Buckeye Street for underage consumption. Kidwell’s father came to the camp site and took custody of him. Deputies assisted in carrying Kidwell to his father’s vehicle.
* On Aug. 16, a citation was issued to Nathan Tyler Hudnell, 20, of Haines Ridge Road, Athens, Ohio, for driving on suspended second offense and improper registration.
* On Aug. 16, a citation was issued to Juanita Lee VanFossen, 58, of Rock Road, Davisville, for no insurance.
* On Aug. 16, deputies responded along with the West Virginia State Police to Whispering Pines Court in reference to a domestic disturbance. The problem party left the area in a white van prior to the officers’ arrival. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted. Deputies were familiar with the passenger and aware that part of his bond conditions, from a prior incident, was to have no contact with the female. Richard Edward Ogden II, 35, of Whispering Pines Court, was placed under arrest for the bond violation and served a domestic violence protective order. Ogden was transported to the Wood County Holding Center and confined pending arraignment.

* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Lesa Ja Hunter, 52, of Ross Road, Waverly, for speeding, 44 mph in a 35 mph zone, and left of center.
* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Bethany Marie Schafer, 46, of Parry Hollow Road, Caldwell, for cell phone use while driving.
* On Aug. 12, a deputy responded to the Holding Center to serve a warrant on an inmate. Garry Lee Bohl, 50, of 14th Street, Parkersburg, was served with an outstanding shoplifting warrant. Bohl was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and was released on a $500 bond then re-confined on the other pending charges.
* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Laura Beth Strauss, 45, of Second Avenue, Vienna, for cell phone use while driving.
* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Jason Shawn Jacobsen, 37, of Fourth Avenue, Parkersburg, for cell phone use while driving.
* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Daniel Brian Busch, 29, of Lancaster Street, Marietta, for cell phone use while driving.
* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Robert Dale Sadler, 53, of Wells Circle, Parkersburg, for cell phone use while driving.

* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Brian Charles Chenoweth, 22, of 30th Street, Parkersburg, for speeding, 34 mph in a 25 mph zone, and no proof of insurance.
* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Stephanie Renee Stanley, 34, of Westwood Way, Parkersburg, for speeding, 34 mph in a 25 mph zone.
* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Tammy Lee Rummer, 30, of Green Lawn Lane, Lowell, for speeding, 34 mph in a 25 mph zone, and no proof of insurance.
* On Aug. 12, a citation was issued to Danyale Brooke Whited, 30, of McGregor Run Road, Ellenboro, for driving under suspension and expired registration.
* On Aug. 12, a deputy responded to Camelot Drive in reference to a stolen license plate. The theft occurred between Aug. 10-12. The incident remains under investigation.

PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports Aug. 11:
* On Aug. 6, Diane Nicole Lott, 27, of Ridgeway Avenue, Parkersburg, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for shoplifting after she appeared in Wood County Magistrate Court on an unrelated matter. Lott was processed, arraigned before a magistrate and then released on a $1,500 bond.
* On Aug. 6, a citation was issued to Martha R. LeGrand, 61, of Kelso Terrace, Gaithersburg, Md., for speeding, 60 mph in a 50 mph construction zone.
* On Aug. 6, a citation was issued to Ronald A. Estep Jr., 46, of Wheelers Street, Flatwoods, W.Va., for speeding, 60 mph in a 50 mph construction zone.
* On Aug. 6, a citation was issued to Carl C. Brown, 76, of Flat Hollow Road, South Portsmouth, Ky., for speeding, 58 mph in a 50 mph construction zone.
* On Aug. 6, Neil Vincent Dollman, 35, of 24th Street, Parkersburg, was taken into custody on outstanding Capias warrants for driving under the influence and driving under suspension after he appeared in magistrate court on an unrelated matter. Dollman was taken before a magistrate for arraignment and his bond was set at $1,500 bond.
* On Aug. 7, a citation was issued to Andrew Paul Thompson, 25, of Elm Street, Davisville, for no seat belt.
* On Aug. 7, deputies responded to Henry School Road in reference to a domestic in progress. The female party involved reported she and the male party were in an argument. When the female picked up the phone, the man pushed her down and picked up the other phone, listening in on her conversation. Richard Earl Williams, 51, of Henry School Road, was taken into custody on charges of domestic battery and domestic assault.
* On Aug. 8, a citation was issued to Christopher Aubrey Lloyd, 33, of Orlando, Fla, for cell phone use while driving.
* On Aug. 8, a traffic stop was initiated at the intersection of Stella Street with 45th Street. Upon contact with the driver the deputy detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and the driver had trouble communicating with the deputy. The driver failed field sobriety tests administered by the deputy. John Howard Caltrider, 55, of Jefferson Street, Parkersburg, was taken into custody for DUI. Caltrider was transported to the Wood County Holding Center for processing then, confined pending arraignment.
* On Aug. 8, a deputy responded to Prince Court in reference to a larceny. The complainant advised that he left his residence for about 30 minutes and, upon returning, found his 52 inch Toshiba flat screen television was missing. The railing leading up to the porch had been knocked down and the siding was damaged. The investigation is ongoing.
* On Aug. 8, deputies responded to the Old Corral Bar in reference to a vehicle crash in the parking lot. A witness reported that while he was leaving the bar, he observed several subjects helping a man remove a Harley Davidson motorcycle out from underneath the front end of his truck. The owner of the motorcycle stated he lost control of the motorcycle due to the gravel and struck the truck, while attempting to leave the parking lot. The deputy detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and administered field sobriety tests. Timothy Minigh, 48, of Mineral Manor Way, Parkersburg, was taken into custody for DUI. Minigh was transported to the Wood County Holding Center and processed, then taken to Camden Clark Medical Center for medical clearance due to being involved in the crash.
* On Aug. 8, deputies responded to Dempsie Avenue in reference to a loud music complaint. Upon arrival deputies found that the noise was actually coming from College Parkway and made contact with eight subjects who were intoxicated and playing loud music. Nathaniel Lewis Roberts, 19, of 12th Street Vienna, was issued a citation for underage consumption. All parties were advised to keep the music down and to stay inside the residence.
* On Aug. 8, Melvin Gerard Jessop Jr., 30, of Aqua Circle, Parkersburg, was taken into custody on charges of fugitive from justice out of Baltimore, Md., for violation of probation. Jessop was transported to the Wood County Holding Center for processing, arraigned before a magistrate and confined with no bond awaiting extradition proceedings.
* On Aug. 8, a citation was issued to Samantha Jean Hickel, 22, of Emerson Avenue, Parkersburg, for second-offense driving under suspension.
* On Aug. 8, a deputy responded to the 7-11 located on Elizabeth Pike in reference to a larceny. The suspect, who was known to the clerk, apparently removed a 12-pack of Natural Light from the cooler then fled out the front door and walked towards Maple Drive towards his residence. The value of the stolen merchandise is $9.99. Deputies were unable to make contact with Shane Rake at his residence. A warrant will be obtained for Rake for petit larceny.
* On Aug. 8, a traffic stop was conducted on Hill Street at Monongahela Avenue. The deputy detected the strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and while speaking with the driver. When asked if there was any marijuana in the vehicle, the driver retrieved a plastic bag containing a small amount of marijuana and handed it to the deputy. A citation was issued to Chelsey Renee Frederick, 21, of Monongahela Avenue, Parkersburg, for no insurance and possession of marijuana.
* On Aug. 8, a deputy observed a male and female walk into the path of traffic on Rosemar Road, forcing one driver to stop in order to avoid hitting them. The female became belligerent with the deputy who stopped to investigate the activity. Citations were issued to Whitney Marie Kennedy, 25, of Aqua Circle, Parkersburg, and Brandon Lee Eddy, 20, of Aqua Circle, Parkersburg, for jaywalking.
* On Aug. 8, a traffic stop was conducted and upon contact with the driver and occupants the deputy could detect the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle. Citations were issued to the passengers Kyle Harland Love, 20, of Lewisville, Ohio, Charles Marshal Mozena, 18, of Short Street, Woodsfield, Ohio, and Dylan Cole McNabb, 20, of Davis Road, Waterford, for underage consumption.
* On Aug. 9, deputies responded to Pine View Road, Waverly, in reference to a domestic dispute. The caller advised that her estranged husband was intoxicated and was arguing with her son. The complainant advised the problem party ran into the woods. Deputies searched the area and located the subject sitting in the woods drinking beer. A warrant check showed him to have an active capias. Clinton Edwin Diveley, 35, of Pine View Road, Waverly, was placed under arrest for the capias. Diveley was transported to the Wood County Holding Center where he was placed pending arraignment.
* On Aug. 9, a citation was issued to Kevin Eugene Hudson, 43, of Camden Avenue, Parkersburg, for expired motor vehicle inspection.
* On Aug. 9, a citation was issued to Michael Eugene Riser, 38, of Cypress Street, Parkersburg, for driving under suspension.
* On Aug. 9, a citation was issued to Jeremy L. Kelbaugh, 32, of Wine Road, Elizabeth, for expired registration.
* On Aug. 9, a citation was issued to Demara Sue Jordan, 29, of Tonya Avenue, Parkersburg, for speeding, 44 mph in a 35 mph zone.

* On Aug. 10, a citation was issued to William A. McKenzie, 20, of Wycliff Place, Westerville, Ohio, for speeding, 90 mph in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 10, a warrant was served on Nicholas Tyler Norman, 29, of Dickens Drive, Mineral Wells, for shoplifting. Norman was processed at the Holding Center, then arraigned before a magistrate where he pleaded guilty to the charge. Norman was fined $260 plus court cost and restitution.

PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Aug. 6.
* On Aug. 5, a traffic stop was conducted for an expired registration. A computer check showed the driver’s license was suspended. Shawn David White, 34, of Wright Road, Walker, was taken into custody on charge of driving on suspended license for driving under the influence. White was transported to the Wood County Holding Center for processing, arraigned before a magistrate, then confined in lieu of a $1,000 surety bond.
* On Aug. 5, a deputy responded to Kohl’s Department Store in reference to a shoplifter. Clyde Anthony Taylor, 45, of Kemper Street was cited for shoplifting. Items taken include a pair of Nike Air tennis shoes and a Zoo York T-shirt with value totaling $97.
* On Aug. 5, a citation was issued to Tyler Daniel Windland, 18, of Brooklyn Lane, Ravenswood, for speeding, 40 in a 35 mph zone and no insurance.
* On Aug. 5, a deputy observed a vehicle turn west onto Sixth Street and drive over the curb and sidewalk. The driver stared at the deputy when asked for his license, registration and certificate of insurance. The deputy detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage about the driver and he was unsteady on his feet as he exited the vehicle. The passenger was asked to step from the vehicle, tested on PBT, then advised to sit back in the vehicle. When the deputy told her she would need a sober party to come and pick her up, the woman became belligerent. The woman continued to be belligerent and was interfering with the deputy while he conducted sobriety tests on the driver. Jason Paul Staats, 29, of Braun Road, Belpre, was arrested on charge of DUI. The passenger, Rachel May Staats, 27, of Braun Road, Belpre was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing.
Wood Sheriff
PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Aug. 5.
* On July 31, a citation was issued to Amy Marie Charlton Snyder, 30, of Pond Creek, Rockport, for driving on suspended license second offense.
* On July 31, a deputy responded to the northbound weight station of I-77 to assist a Public Service Commission officer who had an intoxicated driver detained. Robert Scott Fouch, 44, of Washington Avenue, Huntington, was taken into custody on charges of driving a commercial vehicle with a BAC .04 or greater. He was processed then arraigned before a magistrate and released on a $500 bond.
* On July 31, Brian Scott Hornbeck, 23, of Pike Street, turned himself in on active warrants for charges of interfering with W.Va. State Police members, driving on suspended-revoked license for driving under the influence and no motor vehicle inspection. Hornbeck was processed, then arraigned before a magistrate and released on bond.
* On July 31, deputies responded to Waverly Road in reference to a single vehicle accident. Upon contact with the driver, a deputy detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and observed him to be unsteady on his feet. David Gene Flowers, 59, of Greenhill Road, Marietta, was issued a citation for driving under the influence and no insurance and transported to Camden Clark Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash.
* On Aug. 1, a deputy responded to Pleasant Hill Road in reference to a stolen four wheeler. The complainant advised that sometime between July 31 and Aug. 1, someone removed his Polaris RZR from his detached garage.
* On Aug. 1, a citation was issued to Michael Anthony Pillow, 51, of Newbanks Road, for driving on suspended license and no motor vehicle inspection.
* On Aug. 1, a deputy observed a vehicle without a motor vehicle inspection sticker. A traffic stop was conducted and upon contact with the driver he advised he was heading home and only had an instruction permit and knew he should not be driving without a valid driver. A citation was issued to Collin Raymone Struble, 32, of Market Street, for an instruction permit violation and improper registration. Struble was warned for the no motor vehicle inspection violation.
* On Aug. 1, a citation was issued to Jeremy Russell Shoemaker, 27, of Pullman Road, Harrisville, for expired motor vehicle inspection.
* On Aug. 1, a citation was issued to Edward Carl Davis, 57, of Green Meadow Drive, for no trailer registration and unsecure load.
* On Aug. 1, a citation was issued to Ashlee Meaghin Canterbury, 25, of 51st Street, Vienna, for expired motor vehicle inspection.
* On Aug. 2, a deputy checked a male subject walking on Williamstown Pike who appeared unsteady on his feet. The deputy detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. A citation was issued to Stephen Chadwick Sellers, 37, of Williamstown Pike, for public intoxication. Sellers was released to a relative.
* On Aug. 2, deputies responded to the intersection of North Hills Drive and Emerson Avenue to assist W.Va. State Police on a traffic stop. The female driver was arrested by state police. The intoxicated male passenger was advised to exit the vehicle so he could be released to a sober individual. The man advised he would not exit the vehicle and had to be forcefully removed. Michael Ross Richards, 45, of Brentwood Road was transported to the Wood County Holding Center on charges of public intoxication and two counts of obstructing an officer.
* On Aug. 2, a citation was issued to Derek E. Craigmyle, 25, of Sherad Circle, Lexington, Ky., for speeding 80 in a 70 mph zone.
* On Aug. 2, a citation was issued to Dexter J. Thaxton, 24, of Franklin Drive, Bridgeport, Ohio, for speeding, 69 in a 55 mph construction zone.
* On Aug. 2, a citation was issued to Todd Austin Thomas, 20, of Lueven Lane, Clendenin, W.Va., for speeding, 82 in a 55 mph construction zone and no proof of insurance.
* On Aug. 2, a traffic stop was conducted on vehicle after it was observed to have no working tail lights. A license check on the female driver showed her to be suspended. A male and female arrived to retrieve the vehicle. A license check on the male driver showed he was also suspended. Lindsey Nichole Williams, 33, of 34th Street, Vienna, was taken into custody for driving on suspended license third offense. A citation was issued to Jerod Scott Williams, 28, of Meadowview Drive, for driving on suspended license second offense.
* On Aug. 3, a deputy responded to Mountwood Park in reference to an excavator being damaged. The door glass on the Volvo excavator was broken. It appears that someone used a rock to break two panes of glass. The investigation is ongoing.
* On Aug. 3, a deputy responded to the holding center in reference to serving warrants on Michael Keith Allman, 32, of Latrobe Street for petit larceny and fleeing. Allman, who was incarcerated on other charges, was arraigned before a magistrate and re-confined.
* On Aug. 3, during a traffic stop, Twilia Jean Williams, 34, of 13th Street, was issued citations for driving on suspended license, expired registration and no insurance. Passenger Daniel Lloyd Lott, 29, of 13th Street, was taken into custody on charges of worthless checks. Lott was taken to the Wood County Holding Center for processing and was confined pending arraignment.
* On Aug. 3, William Eric George, 41, of Lanes Camp Ground, Williamstown, turned himself in on a warrant for destruction of property. He was processed at the holding center, arraigned before a magistrate, then released on a $500 bond.
* On Aug. 3, a deputy responded to Fastner and Supply Company on Elizabeth Pike in reference to a breaking and entering. Reportedly, between Aug. 2-3, someone entered the store and removed money from a desk drawer in the office area. No known suspect(s) and investigation is ongoing.
* On Aug. 4, a citation was issued to Justin Michael Wiley, 20, of Valley View Drive, Belpre, for failure to present operator’s license and no insurance.
Wood Sheriff
PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Aug. 3.
* On July 30, a deputy responded to Crescent Avenue for a burglary. John Wilson, Jr., reported he left his residence on July 29th in the morning and, upon returning that evening, found several items had been removed from his garage. Items taken include; four pack of flares, leatherman tool, medium air horn, large floatable spotlight and ratchet straps. No known suspect(s) and investigation is ongoing.
* On July 30, a deputy responded to Nova Road for a breaking and entering of outbuildings. Jeffery Sampson reported someone had broken off the handle to the first building and removed a Lincoln Mig Welder and a Snap On three split three drawer tool box with tools inside. The second outbuilding had the latch broken off and entered; however, nothing was taken from the second building. The investigation is ongoing.
* On July 30, a deputy was dispatched to the area of Interstate 77 southbound for a possible vehicle accident. The vehicle was located and was found to be out of gas. A check of both subjects showed an active license suspension for the driver, and an active warrant for the passenger. Alan Keith Philpott, Jr., 24, of Laurel Street was taken into custody on a warrant for domestic battery and violation of domestic violence protective order. Philpott was transported to the holding center for processing than arraigned before a magistrate where bond was set at $2,500. Philpott was confined pending bond. A friend arrived and put gas in the vehicle. The vehicle was secured and, driver left with the friend, until a driver with valid license could retrieve the vehicle.
* On July 30, a deputy responded to Pettyville Road for warrant service. Robert James Florence, 31, of Pettyville Road was transported to the holding center where he was processed on charges of obtaining goods by false pretense. Florence was arraigned before a magistrate and released on a $500 surety bond.
* On July 30, a deputy responded to family court for warrant service. Adrian Steven Henderson, 28, of Clement Avenue into custody on charges of petit larceny. Henderson was processed at the holding center, arraigned before a magistrate then released on a $2,500 bond.
* On July 30, a traffic stop was conducted on W.Va. 47 at Brown Asphalt. The deputy detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle as he spoke with the driver. When asked where the marijuana was, the driver reached down beside his right leg and presented a clear plastic sandwich bag with a green, leafy vegetation, which he identified as marijuana, and handed it to the Deputy. A passenger was also found to have a small amount of marijuana in her possession as well. A citation was issued to Anna Michelle Hall, 23, of Murdoch Avenue for possession of less than 15 grams marijuana. A citation was issued to Scott Keith Richards, 30, of Fourth Street, Saint Marys, for possession of less than 15 grams marijuana and driving on suspended.
* On July 30, a citation was issued to Joseph M. Perrine, 25, of Elm Street, Belpre, for left of center and expired registration.
* On July 30, deputies responded to Sharon Street for warrant service. Deputies found the front door of the residence to be open. Deputies announced their presence as they checked for the subject of the warrant. Shaun William Crites, 36, of Sharon Street was found hiding under a bed and was taken into custody on a warrant for domestic assault. Crites was processed at the holding center and confined pending arraignment.
* On July 30, a citation was issued to James E. Harless, 64, of Alice Road, Ewington, Ohio for reckless driving.
* On July 30, a deputy responded to Oakdale Avenue for the Riverlink Storage units being broken into. Owner, Jeri Whiteleather, stated she had been checking the storage units and found three of the units had the locks pried off. She advised the renters were notified and on the way. Two of the renters found nothing to be missing. The third owner, Clyde Lowers, arrived and checked his unit. Lowers advised old coins and several Fenton glass ornaments been taken. The incident remains under investigation.
* On July 30, a citation was issued to Mark Lynn Valentine, 42, of 13th Street for driving on suspended. Passenger Megan Beth Bailey, 37, of Maple Drive, Williamstown, was issued a citation for permitting no operators and no insurance.
* On July 30, a citation was issued to Gregory L. Martin, 57, of Ohio 550, Fleming, for driving while using electronic communication device.
* On July 30, deputies responded to Harris Highway for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies found a very belligerent male subject yelling and screaming on the front porch. While deputies tried to get information, the defendant continued to be disruptive. Philip John Wilson, Jr., 29, of Happy Valley Road, was taken into custody on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing officer. Wilson was transported to the Wood County Holding Center for processing and confined pending arraignment.
