MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 27:

* On Feb. 26, an employee of the Washington County Home, 845 County House Lane, Marietta, reported she discovered a marijuana pipe while doing laundry that morning. Deputy Sheriff Huffer took possession of the pipe and designated it for destruction.

* On Feb. 27, Umi Yati, 38, 307 Jennison St., Beverly, reported she recently discovered a large sum of cash was stolen from where she hid it in her basement.

* The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Feb. 26 and 27:

* Jesse Aaron Anderson, 31, 800 Third St., St. Marys, for theft, a misdemeanor. Anderson was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Kramer of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 26 at 1:31 pm.

* Brian Daniel Bates, 38, 19891 Everly Road, Sarahsville, Ohio, for domestic violence and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Bates was arrested by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 26 at 2:32 p.m.

* Ricky David Terrell, 46, 836 Pike St., Apt. 21, Marietta, for breach of recognizance and criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors. Terrell was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 26 at 4:12 p.m.

* Allan James Henthorn, 32, 103 N. Fourth Ave., Paden City, for OVI and for failing to reinstate his operator’s license, both misdemeanors. Henthorn was arrested on Ohio 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 26 at 12:46 a.m.

* Matthew Allen Helmick, 22, 704 Carver St., Massillon, Ohio, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Helmick was arrested by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 27 at 1:36 a.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 26.

* On Feb. 23, Sgt. Mankins issued a citation to Melissa D. Warrener, 34, 122 Tennis Center Drive, Apt. 25, Marietta, for driving under a financial responsibility-suspended license. Warrener previously reported she could not recall where she left her vehicle but she later located it and admitted driving it to her home.

* On Feb. 25, Lance L. Binegar, 29, 1130 Bear Run Road, Reno, reported after a basketball game at Frontier High School his girlfriend’s father accosted him in the parking lot. The two traded insults and cursed at each other before being separated. No physical violence took place. Both parties were informed that their actions could constitute disorderly conduct. This case remains open pending interviews with witnesses.

* On Feb. 25, Barbara Bidwell, 77, 462 Echo Valley Road, Waterford, reported she was away from her residence for the past two weeks and during that timeframe someone stole four rings and a necklace from her home. The total value of the stolen jewelry is approximately $3,000.

* Michael Allen Stewart Jr., 21, 2840 Caywood Road, Marietta, was arrested for .08 breath operating a vehicle while intoxicated, criminal mischief and three counts of theft, all misdemeanors. Stewart was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 25 at 2:54 p.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 25.

* On Feb, 24, Sgt. Mankins and the Watertown Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 6265 Ohio 676, Stockport. Darla E. Jones, 46, 134 N. Kennebec Ave., McConnelsville, parked her Chevy Impala at that location and left it running while she retrieved her dog from its veterinarian’s office. When she returned to her vehicle a short time later, Jones noticed flames emanating from under the hood. A bystander subsequently moved the vehicle away from the building to keep the fire from spreading. The cause of the fire appears to be electrical in nature. No injuries were reported. The vehicle is a total loss.

* Tommee Lee Garvin, 21, 231 Hillcrest Drive, Apt. A, Marietta, was arrested for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Garvin was arrested on Ohio 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 24 at 6:35 p.m.

* Joshua Cecil Poole, 26, 103 Monroe St., Woodsfield, was arrested for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Poole was arrested on Interstate 77 and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 24 at 7:24 p.m.

* Kashas Marquiz Clayton, 24, Yearling Road, Columbus, Ohio, was arrested for possession of drugs and for illegal conveyance of items into a detention facility, both felonies. Clayton was arrested on Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff McConnell and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 24 at 7:43 p.m.

* Lisa Lee Runnion, 19, 307 Maple St., Marietta, was arrested for a felony charge of possession of drugs and misdemeanor charges of contempt of a court order and disorderly conduct. Runnion was arrested on Interstate 77 by Lt. Stackpole of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 24 at 9:04 p.m.

* Todd Daniel Weddle, 45, 118 Dudley Ave., Marietta, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Weddle was arrested at the office of probation officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 25 at 12:23 p.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 20.

* On Feb. 18, the Devola Volunteer Fire Department transported a Muskingum Township resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment and evaluation. The person was reportedly upset over issues in life and cut her wrist several times with a razor blade. The victim is expected to fully recover.

* On Feb. 19, Aimee Creech, 37, 1402 1/2 16th St., Vienna, reported she was traveling on Ohio 7 in Belpre with her live-in boyfriend, Teddy Berry Jr., 40, when he became angry and assaulted her. Creech said Berry was upset that she spoke to an old friend in Parkersburg earlier in the day and grabbed her by the hair. Berry struck Creech in the head multiple times and only ceased his attack when Creech stepped on the brakes and burned him on the face with a cigarette. A vehicle traveling behind Berry’s vehicle nearly collided with it because of its abrupt stop. The bystander then assisted Creech and her 6-year-old son in exiting the vehicle. Creech stated her boyfriend’s actions caused her to fear for her safety and for that of her son. Berry was later located at his parents’ residence on Cole-Coffman Road, arrested for domestic violence and child endangering and transported to the Washington County Jail .

* Melody Ann Keene, 60, 610 Cutler St., Marietta, was arrested for hit-skip and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Keene was picked up in Belmont County by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 10:53 a.m.

* Bradley Douglas Worstell, 19, 29725 Ohio 7, Marietta, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Worstell was arrested on Front Street by Probation Officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 11:46 a.m.

* Chad Eric Morgenstern, 36, 902 West Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arrested for breaking and entering, a felony. Morgenstern was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Gerber and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 12:30 p.m.

* Dustin Alan Reynolds, 31, 105 Groves Ave., Marietta, was arrested for theft and for unauthorized use of a vehicle, both misdemeanors. Reynolds was picked up in Athens by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 2:45 p.m.

* Teddy Richard Berry Jr., 40, 1402 1/2 16th St., Vienna, was arrested for domestic violence and child endangering, both misdemeanors. Berry was arrested on Cole-Coffman Road by Chief Deputy Warden and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 4:42 p.m.

* Michael Warren Brookover, 51, 836 1/2 Fifth St., Marietta, was arrested for two misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Brookover was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 5:32 p.m.

* Shannon Michele Campbell, 37, 560 W. Franklin St., Apt. 21, Nelsonville, was arrested for two felony counts of failure to appear. Campbell was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff McKee and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 6 p.m.

* Angell Beth Jackson, 32, 606 Florence St., Belpre, was arrested for two counts of contempt of a court order. Jackson was arrested in Belpre by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 9:53 p.m.

*Christopher Michael Meadows, 22, 2720 Beach Drive, Lot 3, Belpre, was arrested for theft and for contempt of a court order, both misdemeanors. Meadows was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Dennison of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 10:42 p.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Feb. 19.

* On Feb. 17, Linda Spriggs, 48, 312 Simpson St., Marietta, reported she believes the executor of her deceased mother’s estate dispensed property and cash to persons other than who were specified in her mother’s will.

* On Feb. 18, Deputy Sheriff Carr and the Fearing Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire at 2460 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta. Nissa Griffin, 47, awoke around 5 a.m. to the smell of smoke and observed smoke billowing up from her basement. Griffin escaped from the home without injury and phoned for help. The fire, which is not suspicious in nature, appears to have originated in the vicinity of a breaker box and furnace in the basement. The home was a total loss.

* On Feb. 18, Earl K. Combs, 59, 10990 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem, reported sometime overnight someone entered a garage on his property and stole a five-gallon gas can and the batteries from four tractors.

* On Feb. 18, Sgt. McGilton requested a summons for Jason Weidner, 38, 13408 Ohio 550, Fleming, for abandoning an animal and for failing to register a dog. When Weidner moved from his residence on Brownrigg Road in Palmer Township he left his yellow mixed breed Labrador behind. The dog subsequently attacked a neighbor’s chickens on multiple occasions and was ultimately shot and killed by the neighbor following the dog’s attack on his chickens.

* On Feb. 18, Zachary S. Warden, 24, 38 Old School Lane, Fleming, was traveling northbound on Warren Chapel Road near Ohio 339 when the right front tire on his Dodge Intrepid blew. The tire damage caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a culvert, inflicting damage on the left front tire and undercarriage of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

* Darrell Derwin Johnson, 40, 14201 Hill Avenue, Cleveland, was arrested for a felony charge of failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer and misdemeanor charges of OVI, speeding, failure to reinstate his operator’s license and not wearing a seat belt. Johnson was arrested near milepost six on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 18 at 6:03 p.m.

* Patrick Dean Worstell, 30, 320 Browns Road, Marietta, was arrested for tampering with evidence and for violating the terms of his parole, both felonies. Worstell was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 19 at 7:50 a.m.

MARIETTA – Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 18.

* On Feb. 16, Deputy Sheriff Huffer issued a citation to Joshua C. Myers, 18, 77 Oliver Road, Whipple, for traveling 98 mph in a 55 mph zone near milepost 32 in Newport Township.

* On Feb. 16, Rachel D. Miller, 39, 910 Caywood Road, Marietta, reported her son, Cody, 18, had been acting up all day because he was angry that no one would drive him to Marietta. Mr. Miller proceeded to throw objects around the house and at one point stated he was going to have his parents killed. Mrs. Miller said she feared for her own safety and for that of her family because of her son’s comments. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Hunter arrested Mr. Miller for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

* On Feb. 17, an employee of the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, 90 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, reported when he arrived at work that morning he discovered a door on the building had been forced open. Upon further inspection, employees noticed the building’s cash register was missing. The employees said the cash register contained in excess of $2,400.

* On Feb. 17, Tori R. Wilson, 21, 14735 Waterford Road, Waterford, reported she believes her personal information was used to open an account with Dominion Gas that is now delinquent. During his investigation, Deputy Sheriff Underwood found a Tori A. Wilson who lives in Cleveland and has a Dominion account. Deputy Underwood believes Dominion Gas made a clerical error and reported the delinquency to credit bureaus on the wrong Tori Wilson. This case remains under investigation.

* On Feb. 17, a clerk at Byers Exxon, 38175 State Route 7, Newport, reported a customer attempted to purchase lottery tickets using a fake ID card. The clerk recognized the suspect as being 18 years old but the ID he produced indicated he was 21. The store manager did not want to pursue charges in the matter and banned the suspect from Byers’ stores.

* On Feb. 17, Patti Graham, 49, 10 Abicht St., Newport, reported she believes a family member stole a bottle of her prescription medication. After further reflection, Graham declined to pursue charges in the matter.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Tuesday and Wednesday:

* Austin Shane Riffle, 21, 2407 Hanvey Ave., Belpre, for criminal damaging and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. Riffle turned himself in to corrections officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Terry Brian Fox, 40, 721 Sycamore St., Belpre, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Fox was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Angel Luis Rosario, 19, 104 Riley Drive Apt. 10, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Rosario was picked up in Lorain County and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* David Alan Ruth, 22, 1630 Braun Road, Belpre, for falsification, a misdemeanor. Ruth turned himself in to corrections officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Victor Ira Fred Wells, 29, 118 Second St., Lower Salem, for receiving stolen property, a misdemeanor. Wells turned himself in to corrections officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Marcus Gregory Boothby, 19, 836 Pike St. Apt. 17, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Boothby was arrested at his residence by probation officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges Feb. 17:

* On Feb. 13, a deputy issued citations to Britney S. Stanley, 20, 804 Red Hill Road, Parkersburg, and David S. Hennessee, 31, 2761 Spider Ridge Road, Parkersburg, for not wearing seat belts. Stanley was originally stopped for speeding on Ohio 7 near Blue Knob Road in Warren Township.

* On Feb. 13, Michael D. Chaviers, 43, 23 Merchant Lane, Lot 19, Newport, reported sometime overnight someone stole a roll of welding lead from his pickup truck. The value of the welding lead is approximately $2,000.

* On Feb. 13, a deputy arrested William E. Bartges Jr., 42, 210 Maple St., Newport, for violating the terms of a protection order. Bartges phoned the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and stated he wanted to commit “suicide by cop.” When deputies and troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol arrived at the residence, Bartges was in possession of a knife. After conversations with a trooper neighbor of his at the scene, Bartges exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident. The home is also the residence of his wife, who has an active protection order against him. At the Washington County Jail, Bartges tested .303 BAC.

* On Feb. 13, a deputy issued a citation to Brianne S. Cossin, 25, 600 Hill Road, Cutler, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on Ohio 7 near Lockhart Street in Belpre Township.

* On Feb. 13, a deputy requested a summons for Noah D. Georgerian, 18, 301 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, for possession of drugs. Georgerian acted nervous during a traffic stop conducted in Devola. Though he initially denied being in possession of contraband, Georgerian produced a small amount of marijuana. His passenger, a 16-year-old Marietta resident, revealed a marijuana pipe and said the marijuana belonged to him and Georgerian. The deputy also requested a summons for the 16-year-old to appear in Washington County Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency.

* On Feb. 14, Michael Neville, 66, 1001 Smith Hill Road, Marietta, reported at some point during the past three weeks someone entered his home and stole two computer towers, a laptop computer, a microwave and a television.

* On Feb. 14, Terry McCarty, 52, 125 Hickory St., Lower Salem, reported he believes a family member stole four of his checks and forged them for a total of $730.

* On Feb. 15, Mark J. Tilton, 46, 12622 Ohio 60, Lowell, reported his ex-girlfriend, Natalie Weckbacher, 31, 300 Center St., Beverly, entered his home without permission while he slept and awoke him. Upset that Tilton was on a date with another woman the previous day, Weckbacher allegedly went to Tilton’s residence to assault the woman. Weckbacher fled from the residence prior to the arrival of deputies but she was arrested for burglary later in the day.

* Feb. 14, a deputy requested a summons for Hank A. Wells, 27, 9299 State Route 555, Cutler, for being in possession of an open container of alcohol. A clerk at Par Mar, 66 Arrowhead Road, Little Hocking, reported Wells exited his vehicle with a can of beer and staggered as he walked. When the deputy arrived at the scene, Wells was seated in the driver’s seat of his vehicle and had the open can in a cup holder. Wells performed poorly on field sobriety tests but tested under the BAC limit for OVI.

* On Feb. 15, deputies responded to a domestic dispute at 1 Ness Place, Marietta. Stephanie Tenney, 47, was involved in an argument with her husband that led to the two struggling over a mobile phone. Both parties agreed that the incident was only minor. Neither party reported being in fear for their safety. As a result, a deputy closed this case as unfounded.

* On Feb. 15, a 40-year-old Barlow resident reported her 15-year-old daughter ran away from home after the two were involved in a scuffle. A deputy located the teenager a short while later and returned her home.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Feb. 13 and Feb. 17.

* Charles Edwin Day Jr., 31, 830 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, for resisting arrest and for obstructing official business, both misdemeanors. Day was arrested in Marietta by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 13.

* William Edward Bartges Jr., 42, 210 Maple St., Newport, for disorderly conduct, breach of recognizance and two counts of violating the terms of a protection order, all misdemeanors. Bartges was arrested at his residence by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 13.

* Meriah Shay Dunn, 24, 9630 Ohio 260, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of her probation and for two counts of driving under an OVI suspended license, all misdemeanors. Dunn was arrested at the probation office by the Marietta Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 13.

* Jared Lee Schmelzenbach, 30, 47388 Horn Ridge Road, Caldwell, for OVI, for driving outside the marked lanes of travel and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Schmelzenbach was arrested on Ohio 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 14.

* Casey Gregg Stines, 25, 107 E. Second St., Williamstown, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Stines was arrested on Ohio Street by the Marietta Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 14.

* Natalie Sue Weckbacher, 31, 300 Center St., Beverly, for burglary, a felony. Weckbacher was arrested at her residence by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 14.

* Abby Lynne Roach, 21, 110 Indian Run Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Roach was arrested in Lower Salem by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 14.

* Koni Gay Phillips, 45, 726 Second St., Marietta, for aggravated burglary, a felony. Phillips was arrested on Greene Street by the Marietta Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 15.

* Charles Raymond Cody Miller, 18, 910 Caywood Road, Marietta, for two felony counts of misuse of a credit card and misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and obstructing official business. Miller was arrested at his residence by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 16.

* Dakota Ski Acores, 20, 173 Riverview Estates, Lot 36, St. Marys, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Acores was arrested at the probation office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 17.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 11.

* On Feb. 10, Deputy Sheriff Carr requested warrants for Cody Miller, 18, 910 Caywood Road, Marietta, for misuse of a credit card, telecommunications fraud, obstructing official business and theft. Early the previous morning, Miller allegedly stole a debit card from a friend’s residence on Caywood Road. Not long after he committed the theft, Miller was seen on surveillance footage at Speedway on Seventh Street using the card to make a purchase and to withdraw cash from an ATM. Miller initially claimed the victim gave him permission to use the debit card to purchase gasoline and marijuana. However, additional information collected by Deputy Carr contradicted Miller’s story. The total amount of cash withdrawn from the victim’s account was approximately $165.

* On Feb. 10, a Grandview Township trustee reported an employee discovered an illegal dumpsite in the area of 4400 Sheets Run Road. Deputy Sheriff Carr linked the refuse to a local auto repair shop and learned that an individual paid another person $20 to haul the garbage. The individual said he would arrange to clean up the garbage. This case remains under investigation.

* On Feb. 10, Judson Byrd, 63, 295 Millgate Road, Marietta, reported he believes his and his wife’s personal information were used to file an Ohio income tax return. This case remains under investigation.

* On Feb. 11, Sgt. Reeder arrested Herman J. Dalton, 29, 1420 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, for having a weapon while under disability. Sgt. Reeder and Deputy Sheriff McConnell responded to reports of gunshots being fired near Dalton’s residence. Originally, Dalton said he has a felony conviction and was not permitted to own firearms so he did not have any inside the residence. However, the deputies observed a shotgun and a 9 mm handgun at the home. Dalton later admitted shooting the handgun earlier in the day.

* On Feb. 11, Randal L. Elliott, 50, 35 Stanley St., Newport, reported when he arrived home for work around 2 a.m., he found his front door had been forced open and the doorframe was damaged. No property appears missing from inside the home. This case remains under investigation.

* Mary Cathrine Schilser, 56, 715 Barclay St., Lot 44, Belpre, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Schisler was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Greathouse of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 10 at 10:42 p.m.

* Herman James Dalton, 29, 1420 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, was arrested for felony charges of being in possession while under disability and possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Dalton was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Reeder of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 11 at 1:28 a.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 12.

* On Feb. 10, Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Jose G. Palacios, 47, 1212 Lakeview Drive, Parkersburg, for traveling 74 mph in a 60 mph zone and for operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. Rhodes stopped Palacios on Ohio 7 near Veto Road in Warren Township.

* On Feb. 11, Sharon A. Brooks, 70, 35 Brooks Lane, Lowell, reported she attempted to file her taxes using Turbo Tax but was unable to do so because someone already filed a return using her personal information.

* On Feb. 11, a clerk at Par Mar #7, 17785 Ohio 7, Marietta, reported a customer driving a silver Dodge pickup truck pre-paid for $10 in diesel fuel, but instead filled his vehicle from another pump where a customer prepaid $20 in regular gasoline.

* John William Miracle, 53, 1620 Muskingum River Road, Marietta, was arrested for driving under an operating a vehicle while intoxicated suspended license and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Miracle was arrested in Lowell by Lt. Rhodes of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 11 at 2:56 p.m.

* Antonio Terrell Bradley, 34, 702 Gaston Ave., Fairmont, W.Va., was arrested for failing to reinstate his operator’s license and speeding, both misdemeanors. Bradley turned himself in to corrections officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 11 at 5:21 p.m.

* Kameron McKenzie Rubin, 22, 611 Hunters Trail, Akron, was arrested for a felony charge of aggravated possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear. Rubin was picked up at the Summit County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 11 at 6:36 p.m.

* Christopher Wayne Toothman, 34, 406 Front St., New Matamoras, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Toothman was arrested in New Matamoras by Patrolman Blamble of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 11 at 8:59 p.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 9.

* On Feb. 6, Carl Perry, 64, 8998 Ohio 550, Vincent, reported he received a notice in the mail from the Ohio Department of Taxation stating his mother was issued an overpayment in 2013 of $15,716. Perry’s mother passed away in 2011. This case remains under investigation.

* On Feb. 7, an employee of the Valley Inn, 719 Zanesville St., Beverly, reported two patrons were asked to leave the bar after causing a ruckus inside the bar. As they were leaving the bar, the suspects, Jordan D. Lough, 19, 33146 Ohio 800, New Matamoras, and Kameron K. Finley, 21, 5460 Lightener Road, Stockport, continued to fight with other bar goers and initiated altercations. When Lt. Stackpole arrived at the scene, he noticed both suspects had strong odors of alcohol and glassy bloodshot eyes. During his investigation, Stackpole learned two bar patrons had property stolen during one of the confrontations. Stackpole subsequently located the property, a purse and a coat, in Lough’s car. Though he initially denied taking the property, Lough admitted picking the items up off the ground and placing them in his car. Stackpole arrested Lough for underage consumption of alcohol and two counts of theft, and Finley for disorderly conduct by intoxication. At the Washington County Jail, Lough tested .144 BAC and Finley .127 BAC.

* On. Feb. 7, Jessica Deeter, 29, 26935 Ohio 7 Apt. 6D, Marietta, reported her estranged husband Brent, 35, Marietta, was outside her apartment and demanding to use her phone. When his wife would not allow him inside, Brent Deeter became irate and yelled at her from outside for an hour and threatened to kick open the door. Brent Deeter eventually kicked and shattered two panes on the apartment’s door. Questioned about the incident, Jessica Deeter said her husband’s actions caused her to fear for her safety. Deputy Sheriff Underwood requested warrants for Brent Deeter for criminal damaging and domestic violence. Deputy Hunter arrested Deeter the following day.

* On Feb. 8, David W. Shilling, 46, 30 Hickory St., Lower Salem, reported a family member informed him a door was open on a storage building he utilizes on Dutton Hill Road in Macksburg. Shilling declined to pursue the matter further.

* On Feb. 8, Deputy Sheriff Huffer requested summonses for Samantha D. Seevers, 20, 127 Ward St., Marietta, and Isaiah T. Rutter, 24, 749 Greene St., Apt. A, Marietta, for public indecency.

* Jonathan Thomas Hill, 34, 2814 Doles Place, Shreveport, La., was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hill was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Estes of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 7 at 2:36 a.m.

* Terence Patrick Ryan Jr., 37, 13330 Boyd Road, Covington, La., was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. Ryan was arrested on Fifth Street by Patrolman Blamble of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 7 at 3 a.m.

* Jordan Douglas Lough, 19, 33146 Ohio 800, New Matamoras, was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol and two counts of theft, all misdemeanors. Lough was arrested at the Valley Inn in Beverly by Lt. Stackpole of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 7 at 3:44 a.m.

* Kameron Keith Finley, 21, 5460 Lightener Road, Stockport, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Finley was arrested at the Valley Inn in Beverly by Lt. Stackpole of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 7 at 4:18 a.m.

* Christopher Guthrie Bole, 24, 103 Wildwood Drive, Marietta, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Bole was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 7 at 4:39 a.m.

* Phillip Dale West Jr., 27, 836 Pike St., Apt. 17, Marietta, was arrested for theft and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. West was arrested at Big Lots by Patrolman Bonnette of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 7 at 11:24 a.m.

* Robert Allen Dobbins Jr., 26, 303 Kenwood St., Marietta, was arrested for breaking and entering, a felony. Dobbins was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Call and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 8 at 9:06 a.m.

* Brent Edward Deeter, 35, Marietta, was arrested for criminal damaging, domestic violence and for violating the terms of his probation, all misdemeanors. Deeter was arrested on Ohio 7 by Deputy Sheriff Hunter and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 8 at 11:30 p.m.

* Jackie Dewayne Buckington Jr., 45, 20 Colegate Drive, Marietta, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor. Buckington was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Pinkerton of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 9 at 12:59 a.m.

* Anthony Dewayne Mack, 33, 421 Mechanic St., Macksburg, was arrested for possession of drugs and for being in possession of a weapon while under disability, both felonies. Mack was arrested in Macksburg by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 9 at 7:11 a.m.

* Debora Dawn Henry, 41, 801 28th St., Vienna, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Henry was arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Deputy Sheriff Gerber and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 9 at 8:28 a.m.

MARIETTA – Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 10.

* On Feb. 8, Lt. Stackpole requested warrants for Chad Morgenstern, 36, 407 Franklin St., Apt. C, Marietta, and Robert Dobbins Jr., 26, 303 Kenwood St., Marietta, for breaking and entering. Morgenstern and Dobbins had just removed items from a storage building on Watertown Road in Waterford when the property owner arrived home to find their vehicle stuck in his field. The victim, who knew Morgenstern, asked the two to return the items to his building and they complied.

* On Feb. 10, Lt. Rhodes and Deputy Sheriff Reeder responded to the scene of death of a 79-year-old Belpre Township resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail Monday and Tuesday:

* Cynthia Marie Ferrell, 25, 167 Vickers Road, Marietta, for theft and for misuse of a credit card, both felonies. Ferrell was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Daniel Dewayne Lewis, 28, 103 Vista St., Marietta, for a felony charge of tampering with evidence and a misdemeanor charge of violating the terms of his probation. Lewis was arrested at the office of probation officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* Tony Dean McAbee, 52, 908 Main St., Apt. C, Belpre, for two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. McAbee was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Stump of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.

* George Michael Kelly, 43, 908 Main St., Apt. C, Belpre, for two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. Kelly was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Greathouse of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports on Feb. 6:

* On Feb. 4, officials at Warren High School found a 15-year-old Little Hocking resident in possession of a marijuana-laced brownie. The teenager said her 19-year-old boyfriend gave her the brownie and that one of her boyfriend’s friends made it. Charges on the teenagers will be filed in the future.

* On Feb. 5, Krystal K. Thompson, 24, 255 S. Third St., Byesville, was traveling northbound on Interstate 77 near milepost nine when her vehicle slid off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then struck a bank off the side of the road and rolled onto its passenger side. Thompson was uninjured. Her Dodge pickup truck sustained disabling damage.

* On Feb. 5, Mollie B. Zimmer, 34, 320 Fourth St., Beverly, reported sometime overnight a children’s all-terrain vehicle was stolen from her yard. The Kuzoma brand ATV is valued at approximately $800.

* On Feb. 5, a citation was issued to Michael E. Taylor II, 59, 1051 Welch Road, Cutler, for driving under a suspended license and for operating a vehicle with license plates that expired in December 2011. Taylor was stopped on Ohio 555 near Twin Bridge Road in Belpre Township.

* On Feb. 5, a citation was issued to Ernest D. Bennett, 40, 8339 1/2 W. Second St., Stewart, for not wearing a seat belt. Bennett was stopped for not signaling a lane change on U.S. 50 near Arrowhead Road in Belpre Township.

* On Feb. 5, Cathy J. Mahoney, 56, 4755 Waterford Road, Marietta, reported sometime between 12:15-3:15 p.m., someone entered her home and attempted to pry open the door to the bedroom where she keeps her valuables. Nothing was missing from inside the home, but a tire was stolen from Mahoney’s yard.

* David Allen Rexroad Sr., 38, 4809 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Rexroad was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 5 at 10:37 a.m.

* Juanita Marie Haught, 25, 2190 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, a misdemeanor. Haught was arrested by Belpre Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 5 at 7:14 p.m.

* Wesley Allen Mugrage, 27, 617 Phillips St., Marietta, was arrested for two misdemeanor counts of assault. Mugrage was arrested at his residence by Marietta Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 5 at 8:06 p.m.

* Carrie Ann Metz, 33, 1515 Washington Blvd., Belpre, was arrested for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Metz was arrested at her residence by Belpre Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 5 at 8:32 p.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 4.

* On Feb. 1, the owner of the bar formerly known as Flops, 11365 Ohio 60, Lowell, reported he believes a patron he kicked out of the bar for being drunk and belligerent struck a sign in front of the bar with his vehicle. Sgts. McLeish and Reeder located the suspect’s vehicle but could not determine who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash. The bar’s owner did not want to pursue charges in the matter.

* On Feb. 1, Sgt. Mankins and Deputy Sheriff Carr responded to the scene of death of a 74-year-old Marietta Township resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

* On Feb. 1, Deputy Sheriff Reeder arrested Chad A. Spohn, 44, 986 Luke Chute Road, Waterford, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and resisting arrest. Spohn was highly intoxicated after consuming a bottle of Everclear and threatened to harm himself. Spohn’s wife said her husband was upset over their marital problems and because their pig ate his marijuana. Spohn was uncooperative with deputies when they arrived at his residence and had to be subdued with a Taser to be placed under arrest.

* On Feb. 1, Sgt. Reeder and deputy sheriffs McConnell and McKee responded to the scene of death of a Watertown Township resident. The death appears to be due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the department said.

* On Feb. 2, an employee of Guernsey Scrap Recycling, 28087 Ohio 7, Marietta, reported sometime over the weekend, someone entered onto the business’ property and stole two radiators and two catalytic converters. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $250.

* On Feb. 2, a bail bondsman, Denise Thompson, 41, 351 Spence Road, Waterford, reported she received a check for $150 to post bond for a jail inmate in May 2014 and the check was later returned for having insufficient funds.

* On Feb. 2, Deputy Sheriff Call and the Beverly and Watertown volunteer fire departments responded to a fire at a residence owned by Charles C. Whalen, 81, at 1713 Plum Run Road, Waterford. The fire engulfed the home, which was unoccupied when the fire started. The cause of the fire is unknown, but it is believed to be accidental in nature.

* On Feb. 2, Larry Coe, 76, 1220 Brackenridge Road, Vincent, reported he was away from his residence from 2:30-5 p.m., and during that timeframe, someone entered his home and stole checks from his checkbook, along with a leaf blower, a chainsaw and a cordless drill.

* On Feb. 2, Timothy Hall, 55, 6802 Ohio 339, Vincent, reported he believes for the past year a family member has been obtaining refills for one of his prescription medications and forging his signature at the pharmacy.

* On Feb. 2, Lt. Rhodes issued a citation to Corey W. Cowan, 24, 530 Millgate Road, Marietta, for giving false information to avoid a ticket. Stopped on Ohio 7 for having only one operable headlight, Cowan provided a false name to Rhodes because he had an active warrant. Rhodes also arrested Cowan on a warrant for driving under a suspended license.

* Andrew Lewis Barber, 43, 905 Braun Road, Belpre, was arrested for pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, a felony. Barber was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Call and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 3 at 4:11 p.m.

MARIETTA – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports and charges on Feb. 5.

* On Feb. 2, Deputy Sheriff Johnson issued a citation to John N. Wooten, 23, 121 Putnam St., Apt. B, Marietta, for operating a vehicle without a license. Johnson stopped Wooten for driving left of center on Muskingum Drive near the intersection of Front Street in Marietta. Wooten has a learner’s permit but was not accompanied by a licensed driver.

* On Feb. 2, Deputy Sheriff McPeek arrested William Bartges, 42, 210 Maple St., Newport, for violating the terms of a protection order and disorderly conduct by intoxication. Bartges’ wife reported her husband was at her residence when she returned from the store and was so intoxicated that he could barely stand. Bartges was not permitted to be at his wife’s residence because she had a protection order against him from a previous domestic dispute. At one point, Bartges began arguing with his wife and grabbed her arm. Bartges’ wife said the contact was only minimal and she did not fear for her safety.

* On Feb. 3, Deputy Sheriff Johnson issued a citation to Cori L. Patterson, 18, 1612 Hill St., Apt. H, Belpre, for operating a vehicle without tail lights. Deputy Johnson stopped Patterson on Ohio 7 near Braun Road in Belpre Township.

* On Feb. 3, Deputy Sheriff Huffer issued a citation to Belinda K. Knight, 58, 2906 N. Avery St., Parkersburg, for traveling 56 mph in a 20 mph school zone. Huffer stopped Knight near milepost 45 on Ohio 7 in Grandview Township.

* On Feb. 4, Deputy Sheriff Hall issued a citation to Mark Robinson, 33, 1800 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, for driving under a suspended license. Hall stopped Robinson on Muskingum River Road near Huck Road in Muskingum Township.

* On Feb. 4, Deputy Sheriff Carr and the Fearing and Salem volunteer fire departments were dispatched to a fire at the home of Joe Combs, 34, at 1177 Scotts Ridge Road, Whipple. The fire, which appears to have originated in the mobile home’s wood burning stove, engulfed the residence. The home was a total loss. No injuries were reported.

* Tiffany Michelle Rogers, 33, 164 Knights Bridge Drive East, Pickerington, Ohio, was arrested for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and for three counts of trafficking in drugs, all felonies. Rogers was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 4 at 1:02 p/m.

* Brody Thomas Flowers, 27, 705 Barclay St., Lot 27, Belpre, was arrested for receiving stolen property, a felony. Flowers was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Sheaves and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 4 at 1:20 p.m.

* Daniel Dewayne Lewis, 28, 103 Vista St., Marietta, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Lewis was arrested at his residence by probation officer P. Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on Feb. 4 at 3:28 p.m.
