PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 9:

* Michael A. Fortino, 3 Worthington Lane Apt 12, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to hunting on a revoked license and fined $196.48. A charge of hunting during a closed season was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Nicholas John Cuppage, 19801 Village Center Drive #8105D, Fort Myers, Fla., pleaded guilty to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48

* Carl C. Frederick, 444 Varner Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48

* Christopher Michael Walls, 1846 Shinnston Pike, Clarksburg, pleaded no contest to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48

* William W McGee, 1106 28th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to a seat belt violation and fined $25.

* Kyle Walters, 1647 Sycamore Run Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded no contest to not using a hands free device (cell phone) while driving and fined $100.

* Timothy Arie Fulks, 3504 Hemlock Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of second-offense possession of fentanyl and manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jamaal Regina Alvincent Stewart, 1215 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $490.11 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and Stewart was placed on two years of unsupervised probation.

* Marvin Marshawn Haywood, 122 Basin Terrace, Akron, Ohio, had probable cause found for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Joshua Allen Chipps, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery held on $8,000 surety bond.

* Ezra Eugene Foster Jr., 1031 32nd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI and held on $10,000 surety bond.

* Case Preston Turner, 1674 Meadville Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of child neglect and released on $5,000 surety bond.

* Christopher Michael Lucas, 2601 Dudley Ave. Ste 3, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of receiving or transferring stolen goods and held on $1,000 surety bond.

* Jessica Nicole Howard, 904 Smithfield St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of embezzlement and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Joseph Scott Flanagan, 1711 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI, with BAC less than .150; having expired registration; failure to signal; roadway laned for traffic violation; having no insurance; having no MVI; having an open container; and having a tire restriction violation; and released on $2,500 surety bond.

* Patrick Michael Knight, 2223 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and trespassing and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Jason Matthew Toncray, 1530 Boggs Road, Stockport Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of burglary and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Dustin Leroy Adams, 55 Thorn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm and released on a $7,500 surety bond.

* Roger Lee Coe, 348 Slate Run Road, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of third-degree arson and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 10-12:

* Amber Joanne Howard, 3623 Packard St. Apt. 5, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-offense shoplifting and fined $186.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay a $390.04 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna. A charge of second-offense shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Christopher Scott Holder, 1005 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $176.48. He was ordered to pay a $498.98 civil penalty to Survival Ridge Trading Post at the Grand Central Mall. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $276.48.

* Jerry Joseph Dawidziak, 963 Meadville Road, Davisville, had charges of shoplifting and trespassing dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Gregory Allen Hutson Jr., c/o 1010 Johnson Run Road, Parkersburg, had a charge of violation of a domestic protective order dismissed with prejudice.

* Brody Lee Teter, 936 Marrtown Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to selling, serving or possessing alcohol to someone under 21 and fined $201.48.

* Aaron Michel Rogers, 83 Watson Lane, Belpre, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain control and reckless driving and fined $387.96.

* Kyle Ywain Life, 251 Belleville Drive, Belleville, pleaded guilty to having improper registration and fined $186.48. A charge of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate was dismissed. He also pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48. He had a charge of having no registration dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* William Joseph Kerns, 1317 Ninth St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to an open dump violation and fined $276.48. A charge of obstruction (boating) was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Wayne Sherman Bair III, 467 Gates Ridge Road, Rockport, pleaded guilty to assault of government representatives, health care providers, utility workers, law enforcement, obstruction with threats of harm, fined $452.96 and sentenced to six months in jail. A charge of fleeing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Trisha Nicole Chute, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing, fined $176.48 and sentenced to seven days in jail which was ruled as time served.

* Robert Morris Davis, Rockport, had charges of domestic assault and misdemeanor violation of a protective order dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Sarah Amelia Smith, 1593 White Oak Road, Bidwell, Ohio, had a charge of obstruction (boating) dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Kimberly Rose Berden, 8 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of falsely reporting an emergency and released on a $500 surety bond.

* Joshua Allen Miller, 618 Reed Street Apt. 10, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of meth and defeating drug screen tests and held on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.

* William Edward Everett Jr., 69770 Suszek Road, White Pigeon, Mich., was arraigned on a charge of speeding and released on bond.

* Randall Duncan Gabriel Jr., no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Athens County, Ohio, for failure to appear. A hearing was set in Wood County Circuit Court to consider bail.

* Stacey Lynn Wyer, 3332 Enterprise Road, Palestine, pleaded no contest to not using a hands-free device (cellphone) and fined $276.48.

* Hannah Renee Coe, 101 Edgelawn Apt 5, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 13:

* Larry Robert Kochler, 703 1/2 Locust St., Parkersburg, had a charge of obstruction with threats of harm dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Christopher Michael Williams, 47 Kings Row Court, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing in a condemned structure, fined $186.48 and sentenced to six days in jail which was ruled as time served. A charge of transporting prohibited materials into a correctional facility was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Robert M. Wilson, 1354 Staunton Pike, Petroleum, W.Va., pleaded guilty to a lamp/flag on projecting load violation and fined $201.48. He had charges of not having a valid fuel/IFTA decal and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate (two counts) dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Melissa Jean Shrader, 34 Garden Lane, Creston, had a charge of shoplifting dismissed as the arresting officer is no longer with the department.

* Eric Martin Tanner, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim did not appear in court.

* Bryan Allen Hackney, 214 Calhoun Homes Drive Apt #8, Mount Zion, W.Va., pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $286.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Alicia Dawn Dooley, 1000 Kemper St. Apt 11, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Allen James Hayes, 79 Wildwood Drive Apt 104, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to reckless driving, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. A charge of having defective equipment was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Mariah Lynn West, 88 Rosemar Terrace Apt 113, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to simple assault, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. Another charge of simple assault, a charge of conspiracy against the state, a charge of transmitting threatening communication and two counts of harassment were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Cassandra Jo Tidd, 652 Douglas Ave., Ravenswood, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $211.48. She was ordered to pay a $434 civil penalty to Walmart in Parkersburg.

* Paula Jean Walker, 919 Moyer Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction, fined $176.48 and sentenced to nine days in jail which was ruled as time served.

* Dexter Eugene Marks Jr., 15 Westview Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of expired registration and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Heather R Smith, 575 Sixth St. Apt A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Patrick Aaron Page, 4217 Jefferson St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of soliciting a minor via computer and held on a $300,000 cash bond.

* William T. Cottrill, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and a pedestrian on roadway violation and held on $1,000 surety bond.

* Bobby Christopher Bryant-Walkowiak, 52825 Lydia Road, Coolville, pleaded guilty to speeding and drag racing and fined $407.96.

* Raymond Leslie Lambert, 2805 Birch St. Lot 20, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a traffic control signal violation and fined $191.48

* Nathan M. Bee, 23 Independence Road, Avella, Pa., pleaded no contest to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48.

* Daniel Edwin Milhoan, 203 Woodyard Creek Road, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to not using a hands-free device (cell phone) and fined $276.48.
