PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 29:
* Heather Lee Wagner, no address given, was arraigned as a fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio, for failure to appear for a preliminary hearing and was held on no bond. She was also arraigned on charges of forgery, shoplifting and trespassing and held on $5,100 cash bond.
* Marvin Marshawn Haywood, 22 Basin Terrace, Akron, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (fentanyl) and held on $150,000 surety bond.
* William Dee Swafford, 2309 Belmont Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $5,000 surety bond.
* Matthew Richard Battin, 1522 Lakewood Circle, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Rebecca Marie Morgan, 1206 14th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Beth Ann Witkosky, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 surety bond.
* Deandre Dowdy, 1567 David St., Memphis, Tenn., had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of attempted felony. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* John Michael Brown, 606 Bird St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Sarah Beth Elmore, 1325 Covert St., Parkersburg, had probable cause found on a charge of conspiracy to manufacture, deliver, possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Ashton Brook Shotwell, 602 1/2 Hillcrest Terrace, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense shoplifting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Kevin E. Paden, 1721 Forest Hills Drive, Vienna, pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and fined $25.
* Kevin Lamont Hancock Jr., 2802 Morningside Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 30:
* Heather Lee Wagner, 650 13th St. Apt #1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and trespassing and fined $447.96. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna. She had a charge of trespassing dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Zachary Tyler Richards, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim wrote to the court and said they want the charges dismissed.
* Jonathon Lee Nutter, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended for one year of unsupervised probation.
* Brent Alan Piggott, 1464 Barnett Ridge Road, Belpre, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and fined $196.48.
* Gage Anthony Showalter, 1406 Winding Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery, fined $176.48 and sentenced to a year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation.
* Michael Robert Parks, 1026 28th St. Apt. 2, Vienna, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense DUI. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Douglas Eric Edgell, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to public intoxication, disorderly conduct and fined $407.96.
* Thomas Paul Douglas, 3060 Dutch Ridge Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Brandid Lee Jackson, 1502 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail with a credit of one day for time served.
* Randall Paul West, 706 Pike St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and fined $186.48.
* Keith Allen Joy, 147 Cedar Lane, Mineral Wells, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I, II or III controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* James Ryan Perkins, 909 21st St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and pleaded guilty to $276.48.
* Brian David Wise, 2314 Clement Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a registration violation, fined $201.48.
* Jeffrey N Hillen, 93 County Road 6, Ironton, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Eric Leman Cumpston, 1011 Olive St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstructing an officer and released on $500 surety bond.
* Timothy Aric Fulks, 3504 Hemlock St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and second-offense possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and held on $300,000 surety bond.
* Gary L Hart Jr., 220 Fourth St., Lowell, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone, less than 15 mph in excess, and fined $186.48.
* Ronald Donald Barker, 2016 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of expired registration was dismissed. He also pleaded guilty to going left of center and fined $181.48.
* Kevin Todd Terrell, 1008 Pike St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and fined $25.
* Linda L Hedrick, 270 Jericho Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to a hands free violation and fined $276.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 1:
* Sean Michael Adkins, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $493.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on three months of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to pay $317.00 in restitution to KFC on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Amber Dawn Perry-Fluharty, 911 1/2 Mary St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of conspiracy to manufacture, deliver, possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Anthony Bryan Martin, 1229 22nd St. Apt. A, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of 12 days for time served. Charges of having improper registration and no insurance were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* David Eran Bailes, Charleston, pleaded guilty to DUI, less than .15 BAC, fined $537.96 and sentenced to six months home confinement. He was also ordered to undergo alcohol and anger management counseling. He also pleaded guilty to domestic assault and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of having an open container and three counts of domestic assault dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Tara Ann Shearer, 1000 Kemper St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $196.48. She was ordered to pay a $511.54 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Christina Faith Cogar, 2212 36th St., Parkersburg, had a charge of violation of a personal safety order dismissed without prejudice.
* Brian Andrew Sears Jr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Martin Gale Collins, 1312 21st St., Vienna, had a charge of second-offense violating a personal safety order dismissed without prejudice. He was found not guilty on a charge of obstruction with threats of harm.
* Travis Shane McCune II, 807 38th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to a charge of DUI in an impaired state, fined $361.48 and sentenced to four hours in jail which was ruled as time served.
* Rebekah Rae Baker, 650 13th St. Apt. #4, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $276.48.
* Joseph Trey Nicholson, 3507 Plum St., Parkersburg, had a charge of obstruction with threats of harm dismissed. He had a charge of battery of government representatives, health care providers, utility workers, law enforcement or EMS dismissed.
* Andrew James Strock, 30 Lynnwood Drive, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of violating a domestic violence protection order and held on $6,000 cash bond.
* Eric Wayne Tennant, 72 Rubels Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of escape, obstruction and battery of a police officer and held on $150,000 surety bond.
* Vanessa Rose Varner, Crown Manor Suite 88, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and held on $6,000 surety bond.
* Uladzimir Aliakseyeu, 26 Twigkenham Drive, Richboro, Pa., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
* Cathy Jo Crouser, 2008 19th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to no seatbelt and fined $25.
* Noelle Rayne Patterson, 817 Quincy Street Apt. B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no vehicle registration and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $362.96.
* Charlotte M Colley, 3614 Cypress St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and fined $25.
* Chandler Brock Williamson, 460 Old Us 50 Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.
* Leyla Seanne Paul, 31 Westview Way, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to stop at a crosswalk and fined $181.48. He had a charge of expired registration dismissed after providing proof of updated registration in court.
