PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on June 10:
* Brittany Marie Smith, 2502 Oak St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $181.48.
* Trenton James Williams, 1704 17th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding (111 mph in a 65 mph) and fined $226.48.
* James Arthur Lawson III, 128 Clara Dr., Charleston, pleaded guilty to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48.
* Yuliya Niklayevna Zadorozhryy, 145 Heath Hill Road, Duncan, S.C., pleaded guilty to speeding (82 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $181.48.
* Kyle Michael Kaufman, 5927 Wadesville Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48.
* Curtis Leon Davis, 1901 15th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $176.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to Sheetz. A charge of obstruction was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Brandon Michael Zirkle, 1252 Gihon Rd., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on three counts of using an unauthorized access device with intent to defraud. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Lisa Sue Collins, 1824 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to assault of government representatives, health care providers, utility workers and law enforcement, fined $176.48 and sentenced to seven days in jail which was credited as time served. Charges of disorderly conduct, obstruction with threats of harm and public intoxication were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Haden Raye Waggoner, 3927 10th Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of driving in an impaired state dismissed after successfully completing a one-year deferred sentence. A charge of possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Julia Susanne Thompson, 1202 19th St. Apt. 6, Vienna, had a charge of burglary dismissed after witnesses did not appear in court.
* Kelvin Ray Null Jr., 6372 Staunton Turnpike Apt. 101, Davisville, had charges of second-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI, having improper registration and operating a vehicle without insurance dismissed after successfully completing a one-year deferred sentence.
* Carli Ann Jordan Schultheisz, 2510 21st Ave., Apt. 10, Parkersburg, had a charge of simple assault dismissed to allow for further investigation.
* Victoria Lynn Campbell, 1404 Callie Road, Charleston, had a charge of driving on a suspended license dismissed after proof of a valid license was presented to the court.
* Matthew Brian Mauzy, 5204 13th Ave., Vienna, had a charge of being in possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed after successfully completing a six-month deferred sentence on probation. A charge of unlawful acts involving non-intoxicated beer (18-21 years of age) was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Shane H. Starcher, 99 Dutch Hills Terrace, Parkersburg, had a charge of operating a vehicle without evidence of registration and no MVI dismissed after obtaining proper registration and MVI.
* Jacob Lee Sisto, 627 4th Ave., Huntington, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and fined $201.48.
* Keryn Ann Miller, 1177 County Road 9, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of third-offense shoplifting after being out on bond for four counts of third-offense shoplifting and held on $50,000 bond.
* Jacob Lloyd Kirgis, 515 Grandview St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of having expired registration and released on $500 bond.
* Steven Tyler Davidson, 1345 Market St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of speeding and having no motorcycle endorsement and released on $1,000 bond.
* Christopher Cole Wilmes, 206 Mineral Manor Way, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of reckless driving and speeding and released on $1,000 bond.
* Marshall Gauge Nelson, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and shoplifting and released on $2,000 bond.
* Mark David Richard, 186 Murphytown Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of expired registration and having defective equipment and released on $500 bond.
* Billy James Peck, 1041 24th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no operators license and having no insurance and released on $500 bond.
* Miranda Skky Murphy, 1346 Covert St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on $2,000 bond.
* William Roland Talkington, 943 Swann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and was placed on one year of unsupervised probation where he reports to the Day Report Center with all the terms and conditions required. A charge of fraud in relation to an access device was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
