PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 1:
* Michael David Sams, 60 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and assault of a police officer and released on $500 bond.
* Veronica Lynn Fortino, #3 Worthington Lane Apt. 12, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of shoplifting and released on $500 bond.
* Ciara Jordan Lamp, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $1,000 bond.
* Dale Robert Wiggins Jr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on $3,000 bond.
* Nicole Dawn Weaver, 14 Rolling Hills Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and released on $500 bond.
* Jeffrey Logan Bogden, 2519 Cypress St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of reckless driving and having no insurance and released on $1,500 bond. He ended up pleading guilty to reckless driving and fined $201.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per plea agreement.
* Robert Leroy Knapp, 1757 Blennerhassett Heights, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of reckless driving and released on $500 bond.
* Matthew Duke Saunders, 1005 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Shauna Rae Parsons, 100 Mineral Manor Way Apt. 210, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI, fined $276.48 and placed on six months of home confinement. She had a charge of driving on third-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jonathan Ryan Sacker, 49 Dutch Hills Terrace Apt 115, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property and obstruction with threats of harm, fined $1,352.96 and placed on one year of home confinement.
* Martin Gale Collins II, 1312 21st St., Vienna, had probable cause found for threats of terrorist acts. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Matthew Ryan Jenkins, 212 Elder St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and reckless driving and fined $181.48.
* Charley Gleen Hutson, 707 19th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.
* Alfred L. Rhodes II, 41 Rhodes Lane, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48. A charge of having expired registration was dismissed.
* Angela J. Jenkins, 2656 Pike St. Apt. 5, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. Charges of having no insurance and having improper registration were dismissed.
* Crystal Annette Griffith, 211 Cofer St., Washington, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $196.48.
* Matthew Logan Samples, 361 Third Ave., Ripley, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.
* Melanie J. Fridley, 11 Captain Ames Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to providing beer to someone under 21 and fined $201.48.
* Angelo Thomas Martinovich,1250 31st St. Apt 615, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. Charges of indecent exposure and obstruction were dismissed without prejudice.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on April 2:
* David Eran Bailes,1026-3 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of violating a protective order and released on $3,000 bond.
* Amanda Leanne Tucker,18 Federal St., Little Hocking, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and held on $50,000 bond.
* Christopher E. Taylor, 115 Jordyn Lane Apt 105, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of having defective equipment and having no MVI sticker and released on $100 bond.
* Tamia Zhane Garretson, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI and released on $2,500.
* Carter Patrick McMinn, 4501 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of brandishing and released on $1,000 bond.
* Jonathan Eric Harris Jr. 206 Duncan Age., Clarksville, pleaded guilty to unauthorized delivery to an inmate, fined $226.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. A charge of transporting illegal contraband into a correctional facility was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* William Alexander Riffle, 308 Scott St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and defective equipment, fined $387.96 and sentenced to one year in jail after the LEADS program diversion agreement was revoked.
* Kaitlyn Chase Glatt, 3988 Laurel Creek Rd., had a charge of failure to maintain motor vehicle insurance dismissed after proof was provided to the court.
* Sara Beth Miller, 1171 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, pleaded guilty to worthless check and fined $233.48.
* Moussa Yakar Nzalle, 907 30th St. Apt 4, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $201.48.
* Heather Dawn Lucas, 907 A Pike St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violating a DV order, fined $426.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. Charges of misdemeanor violation of a protective order and violation of a DV order were dismissed.
* Matthew J. Broda, 3570 Shields Hill Rd., Cairo, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48. A charge of having expired registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement after proof of a valid registration was presented to the court.
* Julie Ann McGary, 801 Olive St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48. A charge of operating a vehicle without registration was dismissed after a valid registration was provided to the court.
* Adrianna Mae Dively, 1674 St. Rt. 339, Belpre, , pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.
* Vanessa Lynn Gouge, 204 9th St., Glen Dale, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
