Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 15:

* Patrick Jonathan Wright Jr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $196.48.

* Douglas Dean Mills, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice.

* Kody Richard Kovaleski, 13388 Staunton Turnpike, Walker, had two counts of wanton endangerment with a firearm dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victims failed to appear in court. A preliminary hearing was waived on charges of transportation of prohibited items onto the jail grounds and manufacture/deliver/possess with intent to manufacture/deliver a Schedule I or II Narcotic. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jacob Wilson Givens, 1337 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of destruction of property of $2,500 or more and counterfeiting. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Justin Lee Moore, 1111 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $211.48. He was ordered to pay a $433.70 civil penalty to Buckle 100 at the Grand Central Mall. He also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $353.92 civil penalty to the Walmart store in south Parkersburg.

* Kevin Sharnik Fitzgerald, 208 Margaret Court, Fairmont, had a charge of burglary dismissed after the alleged victim did not appear in court.

* Sydney Jo Webb, 175 Buckingham Road, Belleville, was arraigned on charges of expired registration (three counts), having no proof of insurance (three counts), having defective equipment and having expired MVI and released on $2,000 bond.

* Cody Allan Lancaster, 3405 25th St. Apt. 48, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fleeing and released on $2,500 bond.

* Hunter Allen Walker, 1203 Wyatt Lane Apt. A, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of reckless driving and released on $500 bond.

* Amber Dawn Durnell, 2372 Blair Road, Coolville, was arraigned on two counts of shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.

* Jacob Allen Starcher, 41 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of reckless driving, obstruction, having no insurance and third-offense driving on a suspended license and released on $2,500 bond.

* Michael Dale Travis, 603 Hill St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of third-offense shoplifting and held on $3,000 bond.

* Johnny B. Roberts, 3714 East Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and held on $150,000 bond.

* Juanita Nichole Fletcher, 194 Red Peak Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and released on $5,000 bond.

* Ashley Renee Thomas, 724 Farson St., Belpre, was arraigned on two counts of computer fraud and released on $5,000 bond.

* James Paul Weigle, 1831 Williams Highway, Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of wanton endangerment and released on $5,000 bond.

* Leslie N. Goodnight, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio, for failure to appear for scheduled probation appointments. Bond will be set in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Samantha Danielle Crouch, 810 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing in a placarded structure and released on $1,000 bond.

* Cheyenne Brooke Stone, 107 Cedar Ridge Road, Ripley, pleaded guilty to speeding and released on $181.48. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed.

* Stormy Lynn Johnson, 71 Lewis Lane, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed.

* Matthew Duke Saunders, 1708 Andrew St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing in a condemned structure and fined $276.48.

* Amy Sue Dearth, 113 Aindrea Road, Mineral Wells, had a charge of having no proof of insurance dismissed.

* Alissin Smith, 6295 Tracy Drive, Uhrichsville, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Rebecca L. Crites, 4408 11th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no seat belt and fined $25. Charges of driving a vehicle without an inspection certificate, having no proof of insurance and having no registration were dismissed after the proper documents were presented to the court.

* Ronald Eugene Mason Jr., 825 Florence St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Feb. 16-19:

* Emily Renee Boyd, 430 Henderson Ave., Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of conspiracy of transferring stolen property, receiving/transferring stolen property, trespassing (capias) and shoplifting (capias) and held on $60,200 bond.

* Ryan Crete Yeager, Walker, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $3,000 bond.

* Jessica Elizabeth Stark-Omogunloe, 1209 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of falsely reporting an emergency and obstruction (two counts) and released on $2,000 bond.

* Delbert John Brun, 215 Bella Vista Drive, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of conspiracy of transferring stolen property and receiving/transferring stolen property and held on $10,000 bond.

* Daniel Gary West, 1515 30th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of failure to register and released on $6,000 bond.

* Kaijoum Joel Shomo, 508 Bearcreek Road, Lowell, was arraigned on charges of receiving/transferring a stolen vehicle, fleeing with reckless indifference and possession with intent to deliver (cocaine) and held on $250,000 bond.

* Paige Marnece Price, 711 13th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of third-offense shoplifting and trespassing (capias) and held on $50,100 bond.

* Joshua Scott Gibson, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio, on charges of grand theft and breaking and entering.

* Christian Gale Biles, 1214 11th St., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of carrying a deadly weapon while under the age of 21, brandishing, assault of a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct and released on $20,000 bond.

* William Patrick Huft, 811 Sherwood Forest Drive, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of DUI, greater than .150, and released on $5,000 bond.

* Skier Doc Ward, 604 Princeton St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI and released on $4,000 bond.

* Holly Michelle West, 323 Wood St., Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of brandishing and released on $3,000 bond.

* Brooklyn Rachell Wyatt, 1461 State Route 339, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct and released on $1,000 bond.

* Martin Gale Collins II, 1312 21st St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on $3,000 bond.

* Codi Diane Hutchinson, 392 Dublin Drive, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* John Paul Cox, 10040 Staunton Turnpike, Walker, was arraigned on charges of improper registration, no proof of insurance and possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,000 bond.

* Jayme Lea Modesitt, 115 Mound St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and having expired MVI and released on $1,000 bond.

* Kevin Todd Terrell, 1512 39th St. Apt. 3C, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of having no insurance and released on $500 bond.

* Charles Edward Collins, 467 Gates Ridge Road, Rockport, was arraigned on charges of having an open dump, improperly disposing of waste, not having mandatory proof of disposal and burning of solid waste and released on $5,000 bond.

* Valerie Louis Saunders, 1706 Andrews St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on $500 bond.

* Andrew Adam Crites, 1006 Swann St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting, under $500, and released on $250 bond.

* David Era Bailes, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of domestic battery and released on $1,000 bond.

* Keith Michell Saunders Sr., 1005 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on $500 bond.

* Stacey Lynn Wyer, 3332 Enterprise Road, Palestine, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Daniel L. Mullen Jr., 368 Left Fork Kites Run Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to failure to obey a traffic control device and fined $181.48. A charge of failure to maintain motor vehicle insurance was dismissed after proof was presented to the court.

* Angela D. Latten, 4201 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48. A charge of having defective equipment was dismissed after the problem was fixed.

* Brittany Denise O’Connell, 216 Main St., Cottageville, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and first-offense shoplifting and released on $2,000 bond.

* Joshua Eli Skinner, 3978 Harris Highway, Washington, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance/marijuana and released on $10,000 bond.

* Robert Jeffrey Gurley, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI causing injury, aggravated DUI, reckless driving, failure to maintain control, a traffic light violation and having no seat belt and held on $10,000 bond.

* Shanah Jade Burks, 703 29th St. Apt. F., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of falsely reporting an emergency (two counts) and released on $2,000 bond.

* Ashley Louise Haynes, 1409 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of third-offense shoplifting and drug delivery causing death and held on $350,000 bond.

* Wendy Sue Gains, 1207 Laird Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of forgery and uttering (three counts) and released on $3,000 bond.

* James Michael Hill, Leon, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of escape from the Department of Corrections and held on $10,000 bond.
