PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 10:

* Stephanie Shonell Deel, 271 Eli Locust Road, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Matthew Brian King, 177 Mendon Road, Smithton, Pa., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* John James Smith, 413 Eighth St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $186.48.

* Deaaron Vayshawn Price, 132 W. Crosier St., Akron, Ohio, had a preliminary hearing waived for two counts of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or methamphetamine. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Elaina Jolynn Slack-Nolen, 1020 Swann St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived for two counts of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Benjamin Fisher Pence, 1045 24th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, less than 0.15 BAC, fined $241.48 and sentenced to 30 days home confinement.

* John Jason Blevins, Parkersburg, had a charge of third-offense domestic assault dismissed.

* Jennifer Marie Rios, 430 Douglas Ave. Marietta, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Walmart in Vienna. Another charge of shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Kyle Christopher Richards. Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed as the alleged victim no longer wishes to press charges.

* Joseph David Knutson, 430 Douglas Ave., Marietta, had charges of obstruction and battery of a police officer dismissed without prejudice.

* Xavier Thomas Keye, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and fined $261.48. A charge of domestic battery was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* William Edward Barsalow, 1212 37th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Billie Jo Dye, 15 Prince Court, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Trey Austin Vierling, 51 Whiteberry Hollow, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to having no proof of insurance and fined $376.48. A charge of improper registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Mark Daniel Dugan, 365 Meadowland Drive, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and fined $201.48.

* Lindsey Nicole Morrison, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed as the alleged victim does not wish to pursue.

* Dustin Zachary Cunningham, 903 Second St., St. Marys, had a charge of misdemeanor violation of a protective order dismissed as the alleged victim stated the defendant did not commit the offense in question. The state did not wish to go forward.

* Liam Zane Tidd, 26956 Ridge Road, Coolville, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and released on $1,000 bond.

* Charles Ray Pomeroy Jr., 208 67th St., Charleston, was arraigned on three counts of forgery and uttering and held on $15,000 bond.

* Nora Renee Gordon, 831 Quincy St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction and first-offense shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.

* Nora Renee Gordon, no address given, was arraigned on being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County for a charge of burglary. She is being held with bond scheduled to be set in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Dustin Wayne Sharp, 1903 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of DUI causing bodily injury, DUI greater than 0.15 BAC, driving too fast and going left of center and released on $2,000 bond.

* Robert Kendall Fulmer, 227 Champion School Road, Belleville, was arraigned on charges of reporting a false emergency, attempt to report a false emergency, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer and held on $500 bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Jan. 11:

* Blake Andrew Boyles, 2015 Niagara St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving too fast for roadway conditions and fined $186.48. He had charges of reckless driving, expired registration and having no proof of insurance dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Ronnie Gene Belue, Ravenswood, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and fined $201.48. He had a charge of driving under the influence dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Steven Michael Nowlin, 628½ 33rd St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on 17 counts of third-offense shoplifting. The case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Andrew James Caplinger, 2201 Beverly St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of breaking and entering (seven counts), grand larceny (three counts) and manufacture, deliver or possess a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I, II, III controlled substance. The case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Tonda Kay Montgomery, 1311 Andrew St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $386.48.

* Dustin Wayne Nutter, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing, fined $176.48 and sentenced to seven days in jail which was ruled as time served.

* Jessica Dawn Woodward, 1630 Ridgeway Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and battery of a government employee and/or medical personnel, fined $422.96 and sentenced to eight days in jail which was ruled as time served. Charges of obstruction and failure to process were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Matthew Scott Taylor, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI, fined $286.48 and sentenced to 20 days in jail. He also pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of 0.15 or greater and failure to appear, fined $707.96 and sentenced to 13 days in jail. Charges of having no insurance and driving on a suspended license were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Danielle Rae Burke, 515 Davisville Road, Davisville, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed without prejudice.

* Dustin Chyenne Lamp, 790 Summit Road, Vienna, pleaded guilty to violation of a domestic protective order, fined $461.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, which was suspended for one year of unsupervised probation.

* Jubal Wesley Goff, 3895 New England Ridge Road, Washington, pleaded guilty to burning during closed season and fined $476.48.

* Robert Eugene Barker, 1050 Laird Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and having no proof of insurance and fined $652.96.

* Brady J. Donaldson, 173 Kingswood Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $181.48. A charge of having no registration was dismissed.

* Jessica S. Kinzy, 1322 Ridgeway Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to expired motor vehicle inspection and was fined $181.48. Charges of having no proof of insurance and no registration were dismissed after proof was presented to the court.

* Christopher S. Hawkins, 820 Red Oak St., Charleston, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Damian Joseph Rutter, 5021 Wilsonburg Road, Salem, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, fentanyl, and held on $70,000 cash bond.

* Yohannes Tewolde, 4953 Teddy Drive, Columbus, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, fentanyl, and held on $50,000 cash bond.

* Ra’Quane Rahieem Dunbar-Tewolde, 1203 Beechwood Road, Columbus, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, fentanyl, and held on $50,000 cash bond.

* Joseph Eugne Lasure, 57 Hog Run Road, New Martinsville was arraigned on a charge of fleeing while DUI and released on $10,000 bond.

* Joel Conrad Alontac Greer, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on $1,000 bond.

* Skylar Scott Anderson, 2202 Beverly St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on $2,000 bond.

* Adam Joseph Trus, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County on a charge of failure to appear in court for a final pre-trial hearing date and held without bond.

* Robert Louis Devan, 1610 19th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving on a suspended license for DUI and a red light violation and released on $500 bond.

* Benjamin Ray Barber, 1085 Cedar Grove Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing with reckless indifference and child neglect with risk of injury and held on $50,000 bond.

* Charles Edward Collins, 467 Gates Ridge Road, Rockport, was arraigned on a charge of dog chasing deer and released on $500 bond.
