Wood Magistrate
PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 18:
* Amanda Erin Vaughn, 116 Canterbury Dr., Parkersburg, had charges of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription (two counts) dismissed as the charges will be refiled.
* Lestie Lynn Parsons, Huntington, had a charge of shoplifting dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Robert M. Parrish, 76 Hazelwood Road, Marietta, was found guilty of possession of meth and fined $186.48, per a plea agreement. He was also found guilty of driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
* John Daniel Emerson, Parkersburg, had charges of destruction of property and domestic assault dismissed as the state no longer wishes to proceed with the case due to the alleged victim’s sentiments.
* Robin Jerome Richards, E-29385 Pike Road, Coolville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $2,318.50 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna. A charge of shoplifting was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to another charge of shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $364.90 civil penalty to the CVS on Murdoch Avenue in Parkersburg.
* Ozzy Benjamin David Huffman, 1239 Lynn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing with disregard and grand larceny and held on $200,000 bond.
* Taylorshea Hefner-Reed, 93 Emerald Dr., Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired and released on $1,000 bond.
* Amanda Erin Vaughn, 1701 Dewey St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (meth) and held on $75,000 bond.
* Courtney Alina White, 2608 Avery St., Apt. 27, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.
* James N. Shannon, 809 Edgelawn St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of expired MVI, expired registration, second-offense driving on a suspended license, having no insurance, driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and released on $2,000 bond.
* Herbert Bess III, 1000 Kemper St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of failure to register as a sex offender and held on $10,000 bond.
* Crystal Jo Brady, 824 Lakeview Dr. Apt. 112C, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license for DUI and failure to obey a traffic signal and released on $1,000 bond.
* Noah Robert Rexroad, 3966 Tommy Bond Road, Coolville, pleaded no contest to failure to stop at a red light and fined $181.48.
* Cody Lee Lewis, 1212 Lockwood St. Apt. B, Belpre, pleaded guilty to traffic-control signal violation and fined $186.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Dec. 19:
* Brian Alan Knorr, 544 Reed St., Parkersburg, had a charge of burglary and an unnamed felony charge dismissed without prejudice.
* Desirae Conkle, 3603 Sixth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $431.48.
* Dashan Anthony Barber, 1924 Seventh St., Parkersburg, had a charge of malicious assault dismissed.
* Carey Riggs, 2402 Lynn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a charge of worthless checks and fined $701.48. Another charge of worthless checks was dismissed.
* Amy Marie Mackey, 98 Dutch Hill Terrace Apt. 141, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI Drugs, fined $376.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of 13 hours for time served.
* Christopher Eric Carlson, 1943 Dutch Ridge Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI and fined $556.48.
* Brandon Cody Burton, 36n Dutch Hills Terrace Apt. 128, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to third-offense driving on a suspended license, fined $336.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail with a credit of 14 days credit for time served.
* Edward Eugene Gibson III, 1600 Knotts Ave. Apt. 12, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting penalties, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to pay a $58.08 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* James Rex Jude, 1104 26th St. Apt 1, Vienna, had charges of no insurance and expired registration dismissed after proof was presented to the court.
* Calvin Jennings Schoolcraft, 3015 ½ Camden Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and held on $30,000 bond.
* Brian Franklin Knight Jr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 bond.
* Delbert Wesley Hall Jr., 2407 27th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and held on $100 bond.
* Teresa Ann Amick, 50 Aqua Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of cruelty to animals and released on $1,000 bond.
