Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Aug. 25:

* Jerimy Arden Stewart, 43, 11750 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of malicious wounding and strangulation and bond was set at $50,000. A criminal complaint says Stewart allegedly struck, kicked and strangled his girlfriend over the course of two hours.

* Raymond Lawrence Chapman, 39, 151 Dickens Drive #23, Mineral Wells, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, fentanyl, with intent to deliver. The case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Heather Dawn Foggin, 37, 154 Onward Road, Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of reckless driving and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Joseph Leroy Hutson, 40, 609 Charles St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of counterfeit money, no insurance and second-offense driving on a suspended/revoked license and released on a $4,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Micheal Scott Welch, 50, 1107 29th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving under the influence and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Hunter Allen Rex Morehead, 23, 513 23rd St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Austin B. Maxwell, 20, 6153 State Route 160, Bidwell, Ohio, was arraigned on a charge of no insurance and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Rocky Allen Lancaster, 56, 295 Sharon St., Lot #1, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of prohibited person in possession of a firearm and was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Jeremy Allen Conrad, 39, 259 Wren St., Walker, pleaded guilty to a charge of obstructing an officer and was assessed $220.25 in fines and court costs. In a separate case, he pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 10 days served and was assessed $270.25 in fines and court costs. Charges of obstructing and public intoxication were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

* Stephen Jerome Anderson, 61, 4318 11th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to public intoxication and was assessed $175.25 in fines and court costs. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

* Jeremy Dean McConnell, 38, 852 Fairview Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, suspended for one year unsupervised probation. He was also assessed $170.25 in court costs and ordered to pay a civil penalty of $160.14 to Walmart and $282.38 to Sheetz. In a separate case, McConnell pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, suspended for one year unsupervised probation. He was assessed $170.25 in court costs. A charge of shoplifting was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
