PARKERSBURG – The following reports were released Jan. 29 by Wood County Magistrate Court.

* Auston Jacob McClure, 18, 352 Hyview Drive, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to an expired registration charge and was assessed $170.25 in fines and court fees.

* Luis J. Salas, 47, 132 Cornerstone Drive, Marietta, pleaded no contest to a speeding citation, 55 mph in a 45 mph zone, and was assessed $170.25 in fines and court fees.

* Angela Vaughn, 39, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was arraigned in Wood County for Webster County on charges of threats to kidnap and conspiracy to commit threats to kidnap and is in custody in lieu of a $200,000 cash bond for conspiracy to commit threats to kidnap and in lieu of a circuit court hearing for the threats to kidnap charge.

* Kevin Ball, 43, 217 Cloverleaf Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned in Wood County for Webster County on charges of threats to kidnap and conspiracy to commit threats to kidnap and is in custody in lieu of a $200,000 cash bond for conspiracy to commit threats to kidnap and in lieu of a circuit court hearing for the threats to kidnap charge.

* Scott Leslie Cooper, 44, 3000 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture and was released on a $1,500 surety or cash bond.

* Caleb Edward Tanner, 21, 35 Trap Run Road, Walker, was arraigned on a citation for second-offense driving on a suspended or revoked license for miscellaneous reasons and was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Richard Jamie Cross, 50, P.O. Box 3022, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to charges of DUI and possession of less than 15 grams of a controlled substance, marijuana, was sentenced to eight hours and 45 minutes served for the DUI charge and 90 days home confinement for the possession charge and was assessed $495.50 in fines and court fees.

* James C. Kittle, 30, 3249 Newbury Road, Little Hocking, Ohio, pleaded guilty to an embezzlement charge, was sentenced to 30 days in jail suspended for one year probation and was assessed $460.25 restitution and court fees.

* Justin B. Ketterman, 28, 513 21st St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to a driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI charge, was sentenced to 45 days home confinement and was assessed $260.25 in fines and court fees.

* Kadie Lynn Harding, 21, 35 Oaks Park Drive, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to a first-offense shoplifting charge and was assessed $260.25 in fines and court fees.

* Wayne Lee Cunningham, 51, 1897 Williams Way, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to a DUI charge, was sentenced to nine hours and 49 minutes served and was assessed $335.25 in fines and court fees.

* Nicholas Alan Taylor, 30, 714 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two charges of violation of a protective order and one charge each of petit larceny and domestic battery and is in custody in lieu of a $6,000 surety bond.

* Jeannie Faye Horner, 32, 3702 11th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on two counts of driving under suspension and was released on $2,000 bond.

* Elsie Alegria Horton, 40, 957 28th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a citation for failure to obey a stop light and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court fees.
