* Kevin Ball, 43, 217 Cloverleaf Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned in Wood County for Webster County on charges of threats to kidnap and conspiracy to commit threats to kidnap and is in custody in lieu of a $200,000 cash bond for conspiracy to commit threats to kidnap and in lieu of a circuit court hearing for the threats to kidnap charge.

* Jennifer R. Hopkins, 19, 1208 George St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery of a police officer, was sentenced to 90 days in jail suspended for one year of probation and was assessed $160.25 in court costs.
* Joshua B. Gandee, 38, 105 Seasons Lane, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to a boat violation, was sentenced to eight hours in jail and was assessed $210.25 in fines and court costs.

* Korey Lee Smith, 28, 70 Nicholson Lane, Parkersburg, waived his preliminary hearing on a felony charge of possession with intend to distribute a controlled substance and the case was bound over to circuit court.
* Christopher A. McCoy, 23, 2512 Seventh Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to no operator’s license and no motor vehicle inspection and was assessed $345.50 in fines and court costs.

* William Holbert Helmick, 47, 121 W. 4 1/2 St., Apt. 4C, Williamstown, was arraigned on charges of DUI and driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI and was released on a $2,00 surety and cash bond.
* Justin Lee Miller, 21, 56 N. Meadowlark Drive, Williamstown, was arraigned on a speeding citation, 45 mph in a 40 mph zone, and was released on a $300 bond.

Smith, 45, 804 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a fugitive from justice charge from Gallia County, Ohio, and is in custody to await an extradition hearing in Wood County Circuit Court.
