Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG – The following cases appeared in Wood County Magistrate Court on July 29:

* Rodney L. Lightfritz, 34, 227 South Sixth St., Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protective order and was released on $500 bond.

* Gregory S. King, 30, 31 Elmwood Heights, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, was sentenced to six months in jail with credit for time served and the sentence was suspended for two years probation. He was also assessed $160.25 in fines and court costs.

* Dillon T. Sturm, 20, 4109 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to texting while driving and following too closely and was assessed $280.25 in fines and court costs. He was also arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Curtis N. Rood, 21, 2775 Ohio 144, Coolville, waived preliminary hearings on two felony counts of receiving or transferring stolen property and the cases were bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Ross Lee Miller, 61, 19 Academy Drive, Apt. 14, Glenville, pleaded guilty to driving left of center and was assessed $165.25 in fines and court costs.

* Amy Schultz, 36, 136 Pinewood Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of disorderly conduct, battery and littering and was released on $1,800 bond.

* Thomas Hilton Bailey, 49, 83 Watson Lane, Belpre, was arraigned on a felony false pretenses charge and was released on $25,000 bond.

* Donna Elizabeth Pitts, 52, 2608 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and was released on $5,000 bond.

PARKERSBURG – The following reports were released July 28 by Wood County Magistrate Court.

* Bonnie Lou Warner, 39, 1108 40th St., Apt. A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a public intoxication charge and was released on a $100 bond.

* Nathan Edgar Caplinger, 36, 710 Grandview St., Apt. B, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of third-offense driving on a suspended or revoked license for miscellaneous reasons and speeding, 44 mph in a 25 mph zone, and was assessed a $1,700 bond.

* Gary Michael Lloyd, 41, 250 Mineral Park Estates, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of second-offense DUI, four counts of assault and one count of destruction of property and was released on a $4,500 bond.

* Lacinda Sue Lucas, 30, 416 Locust St., Apt. 2. Cincinnati, Ohio, was arraigned on a first-offense DUI charge and $1,200 surety bond.

* Brandon Keith Logston, 20, 5612 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of providing false information to a trooper, obstructing an officer, expired motor vehicle inspection and instruction permit violation and was released on a $1,200 bond.

* Travis Dale Riggs, 46, 161 Sarvis Fork Road, Sandyville, was arraigned on charges of second-offense driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI, traveling wrong way, no motorcycle endorsement, no motorcycle helmet and failure to provide an operator’s license and was released on a $2,700 bond.

* Robert Franklin Hall, 34, 47 Powell Drive, Apt. 21, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense driving on a suspended or revoked license for DUI and was released on a $1,500 bond.

* Delorean Lavon White, 29, 33 Brighton St., Highland Park, Mich., was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and was released on a $1,500 bond.
