CHARLESTON – Enouch Jairus Kermue, 37, of Columbus, was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for distribution of 50 or more grams of methamphetamine. According to court documents and statements made in court, on Nov. 20, 2024, Kermue, while in a vehicle parked outside a Parkersburg business, sold approximately 212 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant. Newport man among three killed in Saturday accidents

MARIETTA -- Three people were killed in traffic accidents Saturday in the region, including a Newport man in Washington County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Tyler R. Auville, 34, Newport, was killed when the 1965 Ford Mustang he was driving went off State Route 7 in Ohio Township, struck an embankment and overturned, the Marietta Post said.
