Wood Magistrate
PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Aug. 18:
* Michael Paul Hollobaugh, 1804 Maxwell Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to animal cruelty (abandonment) and fined $476.48. He had another charge of animal cruelty (abandonment) dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Dannie Charles Adkins, 96 Fenton Lane, Williamstown, had a charge of illegal passing of a school bus (no injury) dismissed after a successful deferred sentence agreement. He pleaded guilty to stopping, standing or parking a vehicle on the highway and creating a hazard and fined $362.96. A charge of reckless driving was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Dustin Jordan Krebs, 917 Rayon Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of destruction of property and violation of a domestic violence protective order and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.
*Hunter Lee Smith, 1502 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Wesley Daniel Hall, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $1,000 surety bond.
* Tyler Alan Baxter, 442 Stanley Mills Road, Little Hocking, was arraigned on charges of burglary and third-offense shoplifting and held on a $46,000 surety bond. He was also arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and held on a $1,000 surety bond.
* Kyle David Bryant, 1721 Staunton Turnpike, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving while impaired with a BAC equal or greater than .15 and released on a $3,500 cash bond.
*Chad Henry Smith, 338 Lincoln Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and released on a $50,000 surety bond.
* Mason Riley Moyer, 915 Center St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of child neglect creating a serious risk of injury or death and released on a $15,000 surety bond.
* Bryce Jefferson Riggs, 129 Chateau Hills Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fleeing in a vehicle with reckless indifference and released on a $20,000 surety bond.
* Rashawn J. Ewing, 4959 Kingshill Drive Apt. 211, Columbus, was arraigned on charges of expired registration and having no proof of insurance and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Nikki Lee Vanfossen, 1988 Buckner Bend Road, Walker, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Todd Garrell Malone, 1023 Limestone Road, St. Marys, was arraigned on a charge of DUI and released on a $2,000 cash and surety bond.
* Cody Jack Davis, 1001 12th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and held on a $1,500 surety bond.
* Larry A. Dorsey, 11450 Staunton Turnpike #1, Walker, pleaded no contest to a seat belt violation and fined $25.
* Joshua Ryan Mathews, 927 Bolen Road, Paden City, pleaded no contest to driving on a suspended license and having no registration and fined $457.96.
* Ellissa Rose Knight, 1713 Staunton Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of child neglect creating a risk of injury or death and held on a $7,500 surety bond.
* Christina Marie Johnson, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic battery, obstruction and assault of a law enforcement officer and held on $1,000 surety bond.
*Joseph Gayle McElwee, 956 Murphytown Road, Davisville, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and held on $500 surety bond.
* Destiny Renee Tobia, South Charleston, was arraigned on a charge of domestic assault and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Joseph Jack Burdette II, Davisville, had charges of destruction of property, simple assault and second offense domestic assault dismissed without prejudice.
* Dustin Paul Kebler, 51406 Number Nine Road, Reedsville, Ohio, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone (44 mph in a 35 mph zone) and fined $276.48.
* Andrew Cole Pratt, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice.
* Thomas Daniel Lott, 43, Mitchells Court, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to reckless driving and fined $201.48. A charge of speeding (89 mph in a 55 mph zone). A charge of drag racing was dismissed.
* Devon Brooklyn Gilmore, 1206 Fourth St., Belpre, had charges of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and having expired registration dismissed.
* Ann Marie Gail Metrick, 863 Davisville Road, Davisville, pleaded guilty to DUI in an impaired state and striking fixtures on the highway and fined $577.96. Charges of failure to report an accident and having no proof of insurance were dismissed.
* Joseph Scott Flanagan, 1711 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI in an impaired state and fined $627.96. Charges of having expired registration, no insurance, having an open container and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate were dismissed.
* Randall Andrew Beatty, 3317 Third Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of second-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI dismissed.
* Amber Pauline Murphy, 1252 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction (making a false statement) and fined $276.48.
* Preston Lee Green, 94 Sycamore St., Huntington, had a charge of battery of government representatives, health care providers, utility workers, law enforcement and EMS dismissed without prejudice.
* Roger Bailey Jr., 17 Elmwood Hgts, Williamstown, had a charge of violation of a protective order dismissed with prejudice.
* Shane Andrew Salyers, 807 Neal St., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed without prejudice.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Aug. 19:
* Gregory Allen Hutson, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge, and bond was set at $2,500.
* Jeremy Donald Brown, 19360 State Route 550, Marietta, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance and driving under suspension and released on $1,000 bond.
* Lorrie Lynn Carlson, 4309 11th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on revoked and failure to yield and released on $1,500 bond.
* William Andrew Boyd, 3919 Tommy Bond Road, Coolville, was arraigned on charges of driving under suspension (two counts), no seat belt and first-degree arson and released on $22,000 bond.
* Malik Jerome Howard, 905 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of intimidation threats to public officials, and bond was set at $30,000.
* Adams Charles Hogue, Vienna, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and released on $500 bond.
* Chyanna Lynne Vancamp, 713 Grandview St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of counterfeit or unauthorized access device and released on $3,500 bond.
* Diane Elizabeth Hutson, 1010 Johnsons Run Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving under suspension and no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.
* Cole Michael Murray, 118 Greenbrier Lane, Davisville, was arraigned on a fleeing with reckless indifference charge and released on $5,000 bond.
* Carl Andrew Wylie, 5312 Noyes Ave., Charleston, pleaded guilty to speeding and assessed $181.48.
* Hector Velez, 3205 Central Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and assessed $181.48. An expired registration charge was dismissed.
* Donald Eric Johnson, 242 Nicholas Hollow Road, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and assessed $276.48.
* Raymond Lee Maillet, 1311 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and assessed $276.48.
* Joseph A. Roberts, Elizabeth, had a domestic battery charge dismissed with prejudice
* Travis Dwight Green, 930 Swann St. B, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a third-offense shoplifting charge. The case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Justin Ryan Goodwin, 296 N. State Route 2, Lot 91 W, New Martinsville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $216.48 with a $50 civil penalty to Sheetz on Seventh Street.
* Alexis Marie Slack, 1314 Glendale Road, Marietta, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was assessed $191.48 with a civil penalty of $50 to the Vienna Walmart.
