Wood Magistrate
PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Aug. 12:
* Ben Edward Larson, 902 Colegate Drive, Marietta, was found not guilty on two counts of violation of a protective order.
* Mark E. Guess, 55438 Fourth Ave., Reedsville, pleaded guilty to three shoplifting counts and was assessed $181.48 with a civil penalty of $365.94 on one count, $362.96 with a civil penalty of $696 on another and $362.96 with a civil penalty of $577.88 on the third. All civil penalties are to be paid to the Vienna Walmart.
* Jamie Jacob Mills, 1335 39th St., Parkersburg, had six counts of violation of a protective order dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victim did not wish to pursue.
* Eric Wayne Tennant Sr., 72 Rubles Court, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction, assessed $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 104 days served. A charge of battery of a government representative, health care provider, utility worker, law enforcement officer or EMS was dismissed under a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to escape or attempted escape, assessed $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail with credit for 104 days, to be served consecutively.
* James Daniel Reynolds, 135 Meadows St., Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to left of center and assessed $181.48. A no proof of insurance charge was dismissed after proof was shown.
* Kevin Ricardo Aguero Piana, 1202 19th St., Apt. 6, Vienna, pleaded guilty to electronic communication device violation and assessed $276.48.
* Logan Alton Corso, 5516 Lancaster Ave., Charleston, pleaded no contest to no helmet and assessed $186.48.
* Sherman V. Dils, 1009 51st St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to cell phone violation and was assessed $276.48.
* David F. Reed, 305 30th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to seat belt violation and assessed $25.
* Kylee S. Blair, 461 Boice Hill Road, Creston, pleaded no contest to expired registration and assessed $186.48.
* Jacob Levi McIntire, 2005 Nash St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense no operator’s license and assessed $186.48.
* Samantha Adella Reesman, 1104 13th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to no seat belt and assessed $25.
* Marcus Jay Sprague, 12589 Lake Lane, Athens, pleaded guilty to expired registration and no inspection and assessed $392.96.
* Christopher Eugene Wood, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, had a destruction of property charge transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Jennifer Ella Ludlow, 1806 Spring St., Parkersburg, had charges of obstruction while boating and possession of a controlled substance on access site dismissed without prejudice.
* Otis Lee Boley, P.O. Box 404, Ansted, W.Va., pleaded guilty to obstruction and disorderly conduct,assessed $462.96 and sentenced to 60 days jail suspended for six months unsupervised probation with credit for six days. Charges of failure to process and destruction of property were dismissed under a plea agreement.
* Ty Ericson Eshenaur, 101 ½ Main St., Ripley, had an obstruction charge dismissed without prejudice upon the state’s request because the initial reading does not support the charge.
* Franklin Abugicho Ambomu, 11405 Hershey Road, Clinton, Md., pleaded guilty to speeding and assessed $186.48. A driving under suspension charge was dismissed under a plea agreement.
* Haley M. Stoneking, 610 32nd St., Parkersburg, had a traffic signal violation charge dismissed without prejudice since the officer charged the wrong section.
* Tyler James Francis, 1026 Ball School Road, Parkersburg, had a charge of violating a protective order dismissed.
* Scott Robert Hickman, 15 Little Kanawha River Road, Parkersburg, had a burglary – entry of a dwelling charge dismissed without prejudice.
* Mellisa Dawn Thomas, 705 Hill St., Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction and destruction of property, assessed $539.44 with restitution and sentenced to 60 days in jail suspended for one year of unsupervised probation. She also pleaded guilty to simple assault and sentenced to time served. Charges of disorderly conduct and assault on a police officer were dismissed.
* Edward E. Acree, 28 Hemlock St., Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to defective equipment and assessed $181.48. A no insurance charge was dismissed after proof was shown.
* Michael Paul Hollobaugh, 1804 Maxwell Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two animal cruelty charges. Bond was set at $8,000.
* Nicholas Dane Rhodes, 13 Jones St., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on an underage consumption charge and released on $500 bond.
* Cody Allen Richards, 90 Jay St., Davisville, was arraigned on a possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) charge and released on $500 bond.
* Shania Leann Ficher, 802 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $2,500 bond.
* Jessica Ann Oakley, 1490 Coal Run Hill Road, Lowell, was arraigned on charges of third-offense driving under suspension and no proof of insurance and released on $2,000 bond.
* Brandon Monroe Brown, 511 13 ½ St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of retaliation against a public employee.Bond was set at $15,000.

PARKERSBURG – Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Aug. 13:
* Casey Charles Lehew, 818 32nd St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting, assessed $352.96 with a $100.06 civil penalty to Vienna Walmart and sentenced to 30 days jail suspended for one year of unsupervised probation. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 90 days jail suspended for one year of unsupervised probation, to run concurrently. Charges of second-offense shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance were dismissed under a plea agreement.
* Jackie Anne Nay, 122 Sharon St., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a third-offense shoplifting charge and released on $5,000 bond.
* Mark E. Dearman, 85 Willard Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a petit larceny charge and released on $2,000 bond.
* Cameron Blake Johnson, 3003 Morningside Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of battery of a police officer, obstructing, trespassing and second-offense shoplifting and released on $3,000 bond.
* Kevin Lee Mays, 8 Wills St., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of interference with officers and obstruction by fleeing and released on $1,000 bond.
* Shane R. Farnsworth, 106 Meadow St., Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on an expired motor vehicle inspection charge and released on bond.
* Richard Allen Tucker Jr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a domestic battery charge and released on $2,500 bond.

* Edward Leon Davis, 802 Seventh St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and assessed $201.48 with a civil penalty of $50 to the Seventh Street Sheetz.
* Jason Dewayne Morris, 215 Buckingham Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to no operator’s license and inspection violation and assessed $362.96.
* Robert Levi Horton, 3001 City View Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and assessed $276.48. A no insurance charge was dismissed.
* Jarrett Mark Adams, 3214 Little Creek, LeRoy, W.Va., had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed under a deferred sentence.
* Dakota Lane Wilfong, 118 Andrea Drive, Mineral Wells, had a charge of violation of a protective order dismissed without prejudice.
* Jaylin Madisyn Burkhart, 106 Riley Drive, Apt. 8, Marietta, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, was sentenced to two days jail and assessed $471.48.
* Kevin Lee Mays, 6 Wills St., Mineral Wells pleaded guilty to expired registration and no proof of insurance and assessed $562.96. A failure to display registration charge was dismissed under a plea agreement.
* Bryan Ray Bassett, 296 N. State Route 2, Lot 16W, New Martinsville, pleaded guilty to fleeing, was sentenced to time served of five days jail and assessed $186.48.
* Alex Thomas Klintworth, 802 Blennerhassett Ave., Belpre, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain control and leaving the scene and assessed $372.96.
* Jonathan Lee Graham, 36 Lexington Park Drive, Vienna, had a child abuse charge dismissed after completing an improvement period.
* Kaylee Marie Gibbs, 2515 Washington Blvd., Belpre, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and assessed $186.48 with a civil penalty of $71.36 to Vienna Walmart.
* Josefa Dawn Morris, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, assessed $186.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail suspended for one year of unsupervised release with treatment.
* Tiffany Ranae Carson, 1000 13th St., Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and assessed $276.48.
* Leon Eugene Wiggins, Parkersburg, had charges of fleeing under the influence and prohibited person possessing a firearm dismissed after the state did not wish to pursue.
* Lena Ruth Wilson, 1015 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain control and assessed $186.48. She also pleaded guilty to leaving the scene and assessed $276.48.
* Mellisa Dawn Thomas, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to domestic assault and obstruction, assessed $352.96 and sentenced to 20 days jail, to be served concurrently with another charge.
