PARKERSBURG -- The Parkersburg Police Department released the following reports Jan. 2:

* Between Tuesday, Dec 20, and Tuesday, Dec. 27, officers of the Parkersburg Police Department responded to 638 calls for service, issued 22 traffic citations, and completed 119 reports.

Dec. 20

* Joseph R. Willis, 38, of Parkersburg, was arrested for fugitive from justice out of Franklin County, Pa.

* Malinda D. Vandergrift, 48, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a warrant for third-offense shoplifting and two capias warrants.

* Austin J. Murphy, 27, of Elizabeth, was arrested for burglary.

* James T. Childers, 59, of Parkersburg, was arrested for battery, trespassing and failure to process.

* Officers responded to Walmart and cited Tonya N. Rockhold for shoplifting.

* Officers responded to Rural King in reference to shoplifting.

* Officers responded to Olive Street in reference to a petit larceny that already occurred.

* Officers responded to Dollar General on Dudley Avenue and cited Dakota J. Stutler for shoplifting.

* Officers responded to 13th Street and cited Quinten M. Keller for possession of a controlled aubstance.

Dec. 21

* Eric S. Vest, 43, of Parkersburg, was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and obstructing.

* Eric C. Snuffer, 45, of Parkersburg, was arrested for fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio.

* Officers responded to the area of 18th and Covert streets in reference to a larceny that just occurred.

* Officers responded to Walmart and cited Marilyn M. Zumbro for shoplifting.

Dec. 22

* Eric L. Parkins, 41, of Parkersburg, was arrested for fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio.

* Nathan S. Tewkesbury, 37, of Belpre, was arrested on a warrant for shoplifting.

* Joseph D. Stewart, 36, of Vienna, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, no operator's license, and no insurance.

* Ronald W. Byers, 39, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a capias warrant.

* Bradley J. Cantwell, 40, of Walker, was arrested on warrants for petit larceny and trespassing.

* Officers responded to Market Street in reference to a larceny that just occurred.

* Officers responded to Walmart in reference to destruction of property that just occurred.

Dec. 23-26

* Ronald C. Hopkins Jr., 47, of Parkersburg, was arrested Dec. 24 for violation of a domestic violence protective order.

* Kurtis L. Swisher, 33, of Parkersburg, was arrested Dec. 26 on a capias warrant.

* Shannon N. Bailey, 33, of Parkersburg, was arrested Dec. 26 for domestic battery.

* Dustin L. Carpenter, 30, of Parkersburg, was arrested Dec. 26 for domestic battery.

* On Dec. 23, officers spoke with complainant in reference to fraudulent activity.

* On Dec. 23, officers responded to Uhaul in reference to a stolen vehicle.

* On Dec. 24, officers responded to Walmart and cited Daena S. King for shoplifting.

* On Dec. 24, officers responded to Lowe's in reference to shoplifting that already occurred.

* On Dec. 25, officers responded to Pike Street in reference to a stolen vehicle.

* On Dec. 25, officers responded to Go-Mart on Staunton Avenue in reference to shoplifting.

Dec. 27

* Doy A. Coe, 59, of Parkersburg, was arrested on a warrant for violation of a domestic violence protective order.

* Sidney J. Walker Jr., 48, of Parkersburg, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

* Officers responded to Pike Street and cited Richard B. Mollohan for possession of a controlled substance.

* Officers responded to Seventh Street and cited Toni D. Osborne for possession of a controlled substance.

* Officers responded to Par Mar on Division Street in reference to a larceny that already occurred.

* Officers responded to Sheetz on Seventh Street and cited Jeremiah J. Lyons for second-offense shoplifting.

* Officers responded to Dudley Avenue in reference to a destruction of property that already occurred.

* Officers responded to Go Mart on St. Mary's Avenue in reference to shoplifting that already occurred.

* Officers responded to Rural King in reference to shoplifting that just occurred.

* Officers responded to Seventh Street and cited Toni D. Osborne for possession of a controlled substance.

* Between Dec. 20-27 officers responded to 37 motor vehicle crashes.
