Coin show July 25

PARKERSBURG - Parkersburg Coin Club is sponsoring its 4th annual summer coin show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 25 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 312 Franklin St., Marietta — during Harmar Days. A story in the June 11 edition of the News and Sentinel included an incorrect name of a podcast to be live-taped in Berkeley Springs Sunday. The podcast is “Suspension of the Rules!” The story also incorrectly listed Isaac Saul’s home region. Saul is a native of southeastern Pennsylvania.

Dash for Diabetes set for Saturday in Ravenswood

RAVENSWOOD - Coplin Health Systems' 10th Annual Dash for Diabetes 5K Run/Walk will be Saturday, at Ravenswood Riverfront Park, Lock House Road. The annual event promotes diabetes awareness, prevention, and healthy living while raising funds to support Coplin Health Systems' Diabetes Education Program and the Ravenswood Recreation Youth Program. Same-day registration begins at 7 a.m. The race will start at 8:30 a.m.

FBI searches office of Ohio group that supports voter registration efforts

CLEVELAND – FBI agents have searched the office of an Ohio group that supports voter registration efforts, seizing documents and computer files. That's according to a board member of the group, Prentiss Haney, on Friday. It's the latest action by President Donald Trump's Republican administration connected to voting or election operations in the states. Haney says federal agents showed up at the Cleveland office of the Ohio Organizing Collaborative on Thursday and spent hours questioning staff.
