On Friday, U.S. Rep. Riley Moore, R-W.Va. 2nd Dist., presented a check for $1 million to Mayor of Pennsboro Robert Riggs, to complete the Bonds Creek Water project in Ritchie County. The federal Community Project Funds were secured by Moore through the House Committee on Appropriations.
The Bonds Creek Water project will address critical water infrastructure needs in Pennsboro and Ritchie County, remove toxins like arsenic from water, improve overall water quality and supply, and provide a more reliable water system for residents and communities served by the project.
