CHARLESTON - Enouch Jairus Kermue, 37, of Columbus, was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for distribution of 50 or more grams of methamphetamine.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on Nov. 20, 2024, Kermue, while in a vehicle parked outside a Parkersburg business, sold approximately 212 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant.
Investigators determined Kermue distributed large quantities of methamphetamine sourced directly from the Sinaloa Cartel to other dealers who redistributed the drug in the Parkersburg area and beyond.
Born in Liberia and not a U.S. citizen, Kermue is subject to a pending final removal order and will be transferred to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) administrative custody upon the conclusion of his criminal case.
Kermue has a criminal history that includes prior convictions for aggravated theft, robbery, assault, and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
