Liotti writes car-buying guide
“The Ultimate Car Buyer’s Guide – How to Outsmart Dealerships, Avoid Scams and Save Thousands” is the second non-fiction consumer-related book published within the last year by Rob Liotti.
A Parkersburg native and writer has completed a book he calls a comprehensive consumer car-buying guide.
“The Ultimate Car Buyer’s Guide – How to Outsmart Dealerships, Avoid Scams and Save Thousands” is the latest book by Rob Liotti of Charleston, S.C.
The book reveals the tactics car dealerships use every day, Liotti, a former automotive professional with industry experience and 13 Automotive Service Excellence Certifications through Ford Motors, said.
“Dealerships are designed to win, unless you know how the game is played,” Liotti said. “This book gives buyers the same information dealerships use internally. Once you understand the system, you control the deal.”
The book covers how dealerships make money and how buyers can use that knowledge to negotiate from strength, he said.
Liotti said the book arrives at a critical time for consumers with car prices at historic highs and dealership margins increasing across the nation. “The Ultimate Car Buyer’s Guide – How to Outsmart Dealerships, Avoid Scams, and Save Thousands” is available through major retailers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Books’A’Million and independent bookstores.
The guide is Liotti’s second non-fiction consumer-related book published within the last year. All of his books are published by Equine Consumer Limited.
Liotti, the son of Mary and Charles Liotti of Parkersburg, played sports at Parkersburg High School and graduated from Parkersburg South where he transferred. An actor, too, he starred as Anthony Morelli in “Family Values: The Rise of Anthony Morelli,” the son of an infamous New Jersey mob boss.
He wrote and illustrated a children’s book, “Giada’s Lucky Day,” a story about a dog he rescued and became part of his family for 16 years, that was released earlier this year.
