The Blennerhassett Chapter National Society Daughters of American Revolution with the KOM Rivers Fiber Guild participated in West Virginia Day on June 20 on Blennerhassett Island celebrating America 250. Stations were set up so that attendees could participate in making flags, recite the Pledge of Allegiance, wash jeans on a wash board, dip candles, use a spinning wheel, sign a copy of the Declaration of Independence with ink and a quill and participate in other activities.
