Picture This: DAR holds ceremony

The Blennerhassett Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held a wreath laying ceremony to honor Gold Star mothers, fathers and relatives who sacrificed a loved one for freedom at the memorial at Spencers Landing in Vienna. The ceremony was conducted by chapter Regent Shannon Sams-Harper and chapter Chaplain Randi Gray. The red, white and blue wreath was laid by Loretta Frederick at the foot of the monument. "God Bless America" was performed by the Parkersburg High School Choir and directed by Joshua Dubs. Rose Shilling, West Virginia representative of Gold Star Mothers, spoke.
