15 indicted by Washington County Grand Jury
MARIETTA – The Washington County Grand Jury this week announced 15 indictments:
* James Nemo Croston, 48, 300 Buckeye Ridge, Chesterville, one count of theft from a person in a protected class, a felony of the fifth degree, from December.
* Michael Thomas Stella, 56, 102 Wilding Road, Marietta, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them, a felony of the third degree, from March. The indictment says the felony charge was based on a previous conviction from New York in 1995.
* Daniel Wayne Camp, 55, 4245 Cats Creek Road, Macksburg, one count of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, felony of the third degree; one count of obstructing official business, felony of the fifth degree; one count operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drug of abuse or a combination of them, misdemeanor of the first degree; and one count of escape, a misdemeanor of the first degree; from December.
* Davon Eugene Kidd, 40, 725 Front St., Marietta, two counts of trafficking in cocaine, one a fourth-degree felony and one a fifth-degree felony, and two fifth-degree felony counts of possession of cocaine from January.
* Robert James McFee, 48, last known address 728 Burning Springs Road, Elizabeth; escape, a felony of the third degree; from January.
* Russell Brian Bibbee, 58, 9826 Elizabeth Pike, Elizabeth; one count of failure to appear as required by recognizance, a felony of the fourth degree; from March.
* Chrissy Ann Sheppard, 50, 1900 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg; one count of failure to appear as required by recognizance, a felony of the fourth degree; from March.
* Charles Brandon Ball, 34, 731 Center St., Beverly; one count each of felonious assault, felony of the second degree; strangulation, felony of the third degree; and domestic violence, felony of the fourth degree; from February.
* Kevin Cole Siegfried, 45, 806 Front St., Marietta; two counts of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, felony of the fourth degree; two counts of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, felony of the fourth degree; and one count of having weapons while under disability, felony of the third degree; from March 2024.
* Paula Ann Warne, 67, 105 Gilman Ave., Lot 14, Marietta; one count each of disrupting public service, felony of the fourth degree; and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree; from March.
* Kevin Andrew Williams, 38, 1308 Williamson Ave., Apt. 2B, New Matamoras; one count of aggravated possession of drugs, felony of the third degree; two counts of having weapons while under disability, felony of the third degree; obstructing official business, misdemeanor of the second degree; and one count of driving under suspension or in violation of license restriction, a misdemeanor of the first degree; from May 2025.
* Hunter William Michael Wenzel, 25, 42015 Trail Run Road, New Matamoras; four counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, all second-degree felonies; from October.
* Dennis Wade Rife, 494 Kling St., Akron; two counts of aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor of the first degree; one count of handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a felony of the fourth degree; and one count of having weapons while under disability, a felony of the third degree; from April.
* Matthew Robert Moyers, 49, 10915 State Route 550, Vincent; one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree; from November 2024. In a separate case, Moyers was indicted on one count each of possession of a fentanyl-related compound and aggravated possession of drugs, both fifth-degree felonies; also from November 2024. In a third case, he was indicted on one fifth-degree felony count each of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of a fentanyl-related compound from August 2023.
* Donna Sue Reed, 52, 1062 Cloverhill Road, Raven, Va.; one count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a felony of the first degree; one count of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, a felony of the first degree; one count illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility, a felony of the third degree; and possessing drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor of the second degree; from January.
